1. Never use Suburban Griddles indoors. Must be
used outdoors only.
2. If the regulator supplied with the appliance fails, it
must be replaced with the exact model. Please
call customer service for a Suburban authorized
replacement.
3. The appliance and its individual shutoff valve
must be disconnected from the gas supply
piping system during any pressure testing of
that system at test pressures in excess of 1/2
psi (3.5 kPa).
4. Theappliancemustbe isolatedfromthegassupply
pipingsystembyclosingitsindividualmanualshutoff
valve during any pressure testing of the gas supply
pipingsystemat testpressuresequaltoorlessthan
1/2 psi (3.5kPa).
5. Before each use of this appliance, perform a
visual inspection of the gas hose from the tank
connection to the orifice for any wear, breaks,
leaks, cracks, cuts or intrusions. Should any
abnormalities be discovered, replace hose prior
to operation.
6. Intheeventofrain,snow,hail,sleet,orotherforms
of precipitation while cooking with oil or grease,
cover the cooking vessel immediately and turn
off the appliance burners and gas supply. Do not
attempt to move the appliance or cookingvessel.

assembled, installed and maintained. Failure to
follow the instructions in this manual couldresult
in bodily injury and/or property damage.

7. When cooking, the appliance must be on a
level, stable noncombustible surface in an
area clear of combustible material. An asphalt
surface (blacktop) may not be acceptable for
this purpose.
WARNING
•This appliance shall be used outdoors only, and
shall not be used in a building, garage, or any
other enclosed area.
•This appliance shall not be used on or under
any apartment or condominium balcony or
deck.
•The use of alcohol, prescription or non-
prescription drugs may impair the consumer’s
ability to properly assemble or safely operate
the appliance.
•When cooking with oil or grease, have a type.
BC or ABC fire extinguisher readily available.
•In the event of an oil or grease fire, do not
attempt to extinguish with water. Immediately
call the fire department. A Type BC or ABC fire
extinguisher may, in some circumstances
contain fire.
•Do not leave the appliance unattended. Keep
children and pets away from the appliance at all
times.
•This appliance is not intended for and should
never be used as a heater. This appliance is
not intended for fryingturkeys.
•This appliance will be hot during and after use.
Use insulated oven mitts or gloves for protection
from hot surfaces or splatter from cooking
liquids.
•Do not place empty cooking vessel on the
appliance while in operation. Use caution when
placing anything in cooking vessel while the
appliance is inoperation.
•Do not move the appliance when in use. Allow
the cooking vessel to cool to 115°F (45°C)
before moving or storing.

local codes, or in the absence of local codes,
with either the National Fuel Gas Code, ANSI
Z223.1/NFPA 54, Natural Gas and Propane
Installation Code, CSA B149.1 or Propane

Standard for Recreational Vehicles, ANSI A
119.2/NFPA 1192, and CSA Z240 RV Series,
Recreational Vehicle Code, asapplicable.
•Suburban Griddle is not for use inside RV’s
or on boats.
•SuburbanGriddlesaresafetycertifiedforusein
the United States and Canada. Do not modify
for use in any other location. Modification will
result in a safetyhazard.
•Replacement pressure regulators must be
thosespecifiedbytheappliancemanufacturer.

MODEL DESIGNATIONS
4 models of Suburban Elite Series Griddles are
available, each differing by gas inlet location and
connection type. Flare fitting models are intended
for permanent installations only. Quick connect
(QC) models are intended for both permanent or
temporary applications. Note –All Figures in this
manual depict right side gas inlet models. However,
instructions are the same regardless if a right or left
inlet assembly exists on yourmodel.

1. Findalarge,cleanareainwhichtoassembleyourSuburban
Elite Series Griddle. NOTE: Make sure all the plastic
protectionandpackagingisremovedbeforeassembling.
2. Remove packing material and all parts from the
carton. Packing material and carton can be retained
for storage ifdesired.
NOTE: Packout bag can be found under griddle plate.
3. Refertothepartslistonpage3. Ensurethatallcomponents
arecontainedinthepackage.
4. Remove the griddle top from the griddlebody. See
Figure 1.
5. Carefully flip your griddle upside down and ensureeach
fuel nozzle is housed within each burner tube opening.
See Figure 2.
6. Turn griddle right side up and align the Control Valve
Knob with the Control Valve Shaft and press fully into
place.See Figure3.

TO CONNECT THE GAS SUPPLY
CAUTION
Griddle must be connected to the vehicle’s propane
systemwithaflexiblehoseconnectorcomplyingwith
the high-pressure requirements of the Standard for
Pigtails and Flexible Hose Connectors for LP Gas,
ANSI/UL 569, and shall be of a length no longer
thanthatrequiredtoallowthegriddletobe mounted
in the “in use” positionof its mountingsystem.
The hose must be installedin a manner that will not
allowit to comein contactwiththehotsurfaceof the
griddle while in useor in thestorage/travelmode.
INSTALLATION
NOTE: Griddle to be installed on Non-
Combustible materials only.
For permanent installations, griddle must be secured to a
non-combustible material using the 4 bolts, washers and
spacersprovided.Anexamplenon-combustiblemounting
On SOP-1004A/1010A a 3/8” male flare connection
is provided for gas line connection. Some standards
may require the use of a manual shut off valve in the
gas line external to the appliance.
Itwillbenecessarytoholdtheflarefittingonthegriddle
manifold when connecting or looseningthe gas line.
For connecting gas supply on SOP1005A/1011A,
refer to figure 10 on page 6.

Spacers must be installed between the griddle bottom
and mounting surface. Use of the four mounting holes in
the bottom of the griddle is the only permissible method
for permanently securing the griddle.
NOTE: For installation on Suburban Outdoor
Kitchen products with raised mounting bosses,
spacers are not required.

4003A (PURCHASED SEPARARATELY)
Connect to propane using the existing RV low pressure
gas system hose by inserting the quick-disconnect
female into the male quick-disconnect fitting on the
back of the griddle. See Figure 10.
For permanently installing QC models, please refer
to INSTALLATION on page 5.

LIGHTING THE GRIDDLE
1. Read all instructions before lighting.
2. Push the control knob in and turncounterclockwise
to the “Light” position. See Figure 11.
3. If ignition does not occur in 5 seconds, turn the
burner control off, wait 5 minutes, and repeat the
lighting procedure.
NOTE: Multiple cycles may be required to purge air
from gas supply system
BURNER FLAME CHECK
Prior to lighting the burner, remove the griddle plate in
order to visually inspect the flame. Light burner and
rotate knob from high to low –you should see a
smaller flame in the low position than you see in the
high position. See Figure 12. Always check the flame
prior to each use. If only low flame is seen, refer to
Burner has low flame regardless of knob position
in the Troubleshooting section.
TURNING OFF THE GRIDDLE
Turn the CONTROL KNOB to the OFF position.
IGNITION ELECTRODE POSITION
The ignition electrode should be .175” from the top of
the burner to create the proper spark, as shown in the
illustration below. The ignition electrode should not
touch the burner tube. See Figure 13.

Seasoning is a process by which oil is baked into metal
to create a stick resistant surface and protect against
oxidation.

MATCH LIGHTING INSTRUCTIONS
Do not lean over the Griddle while lighting. Make sure
there are no gas leaks.
1. Ensure the control knob is in the “OFF” position.
2. Remove the griddle top.
3. Light an 11” long match, then place the match on
the right or left side of the burner.
4. Push the control knob in and turn counterclockwise
to the HIGH position. Be sure the burner lights and
stays lit.

Suburban Griddles comes with a thin layer of soy oil on
them to protect against rust during shipping. You can
wash this off with warm soapy water prior to your initial
seasoning.
WHAT OIL SHOULD I USE?
Some oils are better than others for seasoning. We
recommend Flax seed oil for your initial seasoning
since it creates a very durable bond, however, any of
the following oils can be used:
•Flax Seed Oil
•Extra Virgin Olive Oil
•Vegetable Oil
•Soy Oil
The basic ideabehind your initialseasoning is to coat your
griddle with oil and heat the oil above its smoke point to
polymerize the oil and create a bond with the griddle top.
You will end up with a black, stick resistant surface that is
easy toclean.
HOW TO SEASON YOUR GRIDDLE
1. Apply small amount of chosen oil to the surface of
the griddle top and spread it around with a cloth or
paper towel (use tongs or metal spatula to hold the
cloth or paper towel).
2. Turn your griddle on medium-high heat
3. Heat the oil until it reaches its “smoke-point” and let
it continue to discolor. This is good.
4. Let your griddle cool a little. Repeat steps 1through
3 a few times until you have a black surface on your
griddle.

WARNING
Turn control knob and gas source or tank OFF
when not in use.
WARNING
If ignition does NOToccur in 5 seconds, turn the
burner controls OFF, wait 5 minutes and repeat
the lighting procedure. If the burner does not
ignite with the valve open, gas will continue to
flow out of the burner and could accidently ignite
with risk of injury.
SAFETY GUIDELINES
•When the Suburban Elite Series Griddle is not in
use, ensure the control knob is in the OFF position.
•Never move griddle while in operation or whilehot.
•Use long-handed barbecue utensils and oven mitts
to avoid burns and splatters.
•Keep Suburban Elite Series Griddles away from
walls, buildings, vehicles, or other structures when
in use. Do not obstruct the flow of combustion
or ventilation air. Refer to the Assembly and
Installation section for details.
•Clean the griddle often, preferably after eachuse.
•Keep ventilation openings in cylinder enclosure
free and clear of debris.
•Check and clean burner/venturi tubes for insects
and insect nests. A clogged tube can lead to a fire
beneath the appliance. Please see “CLEANING
THE BURNER ASSEMBLY” on page 8.
•Keep appliance clear and free of combustible
materials, gasoline, and other flammable vaporsor
liquids.
VALVE CHECK
Important: To check valve, first push in knob and
release, knob should spring back. If knob does not
spring back, replace valve assembly before using the
griddle. Turn knob to low position then turn back to
OFF position. Valve should turn smoothly.
GENERAL GRIDDLE CLEANING
•Do not mistake brown or black accumulation of
grease and smoke for paint. Do not apply a caustic
griddle/oven cleaner to painted surfaces.
•Plastic parts: Wash with warm soapy water and
wipe dry. Do not use Citrisol, abrasive cleaners, de-
greasers or a concentrated oven cleaner on plastic
parts. Damage to and failure of parts canresult.
•Painted surfaces: Wash with mild detergent or
nonabrasive cleaner and warm soapy water. Wipe
dry with a soft nonabrasive cloth.
•Baked-on grease deposits may require the use
of an abrasive plastic cleaning pad. Use only in
direction of brushed finish to avoid damage. Do not
use abrasive pad on areas withgraphics.
To clean the griddle after each use, scrape gently with
a metal spatula or scraper and wipe down the griddle
surface with a cloth or paper towel. For tough food
residue, pour water onto the hot griddle surface and let it
boil the residue off.
MAINTAINING YOUR GRIDDLE SEASONING
After you are done using your griddle you should apply
a very thin coat of oil to maintain your seasoning bond
and protect it from rust. If rust or scaling (chipped
seasoning) occur, rub it off with steel wool or low grit
sandpaper and re-season the surface. Store your
griddle in a cool, dry place.

STORING YOUR GRIDDLE
DANGER
Do not put griddle in storage or travel mode
immediately after use. Allow griddle to cool to
touch before moving or storing. Failure to do so
could result in fire resulting in property damage,
personal injury or death.
•Store in dry location.
•For quick connect griddles, disconnect from the
recreational vehicle’s low pressure LP gas supply
system via quick-disconnect fitting (following
applicable safety steps).
•Store griddle indoors ONLY if turned off,
disconnected from the low pressure gas system,
and the unit itself is at room temperature.
•Remove grease tray and clean before storage.
CLEANING THE BURNER ASSEMBLY
Follow these instructions to clean the burner.
1. Turn gas OFF at the control knob.
2. Ensure all components have cooled
3. Remove griddle plate from assembly.
4. Wire brush the entire outer surface of the burner to
remove food residue and dirt.
5. Clean any blocked ports with a stiff wire such as an
open paper clip.
6 While wearing eye protection use an air hose to
force air into the burner tube and out the burner
ports. Check each port to make sure air is coming
out each respective nozzle.
7. If any large cracks or holes are found call
Suburban Customer Service for instruction and/or
replacement.
FOOD SAFETY
Food safety is a very important part of enjoying the
outdoor cooking experience. To keep food safe from
harmful bacteria, follow these four basic steps:
1. Clean: Wash hands, utensils, and surfaces withhot
soapy water before and after handling raw meat and
poultry
2. Separate: Separate raw meats and poultry from
ready-to eat foods to avoid cross contamination.
Use a clean platter and utensils when removing
cooked foods.
3. Cook: Cook meat and poultry thoroughly to kill
bacteria. Use a thermometer to ensure proper
internal food temperatures.
4. Chill: Refrigerate prepared foods and leftovers

This product is warranted to the original purchaser to be free from
defects in material or workmanship for a period of ONE YEAR from
the date of the original retail purchase. It is the responsibility of the
consumer/owner to establish the warranty period by supplying
PROOF OF PURCHASE. Suburban - A Division of Airxcel; hereafter
referred to as Suburban, does not use warranty registration therefore,
you are required to furnish proof of purchase date through a receipt
or other payment records when submitting a warranty serviceclaim.
This warranty does not cover defects or damage due to improper
installation, alteration, accident or any other event beyond the control
of Suburban. Defects or damage resulting from misuse, abuse or
negligence will void this warranty. This warranty does not cover
scratching or damage that may result from normal usage. If outdoor
griddle appliance is installed in a temporary application, there is no
labor allowance. If installed into a permanent application, the following
is our limitedwarranty:
Suburban will replace any parts that are found defective within the
first year and will pay a warranty service allowance directly to the
recommended Suburban service center at rates mutually agreed
upon between Suburban and its recommended service centers.
Replacement part will be shipped FOB the shipping point within the
Continental United States, Alaska, and Canada to the recommended
service center performing such repairs. All freight, shipping, and
delivery costs shall be the responsibility ofthe owner. The exchanged
part or unit will be warranted foronly the expired portion of the original
warranty.Beforehavingwarrantyrepiarsmade,confirmthattheservice
agency is a recommended service center for Suburban. DO NOT
PAYTHE SERVICE AGENCY FOR WARRANTY REPAIRS; SUCH
PAYMENTS WILL NOT BE REIMBURSED. Suburban reserves
the right to examine the alleged defect in the griddle appliance or
component parts, and it is the owner’s obligation to return the griddle
appliance and/or component parts to Suburban or its representative.
When returning a griddle appliance, it must include all component
parts and the serial number plate. Returned component parts must
be individually tagged and identified with the outdoor griddle’s model
number, serial number, and date ofinstallation.
This product is not intended for institutional or commercial use;
Suburban does not assume any liability for such use. Institutional or
commercial use will void this warranty.
This warranty is nontransferable and is expressly limited to the
repair or replacement of the defective product. During the warranty
period of one year, Suburban shall repair or replace defective parts
at no cost to the purchaser (labor charges and related expenses for
removal, installation or replacement of the product or components are
not covered under this warranty). The exchanged part or unit will be
warranted for only the unexpired portion ofthe original warranty.
Suburban’s liability hereunder is limited to the replacement of the
product, repair of the product or replacement of the product with a
reconditioned unit at the discretion of Suburban. Suburban reserves
the right to make substitutions to warranty claims if parts are
unavailable or obsolete.
Suburban shall not be liable for loss of use of the product or other
consequential or incidental costs, expenses or damages incurred by
the consumer of any other use. The user assumes all risk of injury
resulting from the use of this product.
This warranty is expressly in lieu of all other warranties, expressed or
implied,includingwarrantiesof merchantabilityor fitnessforuseto the
extent permitted by Federal or state law. Neither Suburban nor any of
its representatives assumes any other liability in connection with this

This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have

SUBURBAN WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:
1. Any damage (cracks, chips, scratches, etc.) to any painted
surface, discoloration or surface rusting.
2. Items classified as normal maintenance.
3. Damage or repairs required as a consequence of faulty or
incorrect assembly or application not in conformance with
Suburban instructions.
4. Failure to start and/or operate due to water or dirt incontrols.
5. Parts not supplied by Suburban.
6. Damage or repairs needed as a consequence of any
misapplication, abuse, unreasonable use, unauthorized
alteration, improper service, improper operation or failure to
provide reasonable and necessary maintenance.
7. Suburban products whose serial number has been altered,
defaced or removed.
8. Suburban products installed or warranty claims originating
outside the Continental U.S.A., Alaska, Hawaii andCanada.
9. Damage as a result of floods, winds, lightning, accidents,
corrosive atmosphere or other conditions beyond the control
of Suburban - A Division of Airxcel.
10. ANY SPECIAL, INDIRECT OR CONSEQUENTIAL
PROPERTY, ECONOMIC OR COMMERCIAL DAMAGE OF
ANY NATURE WHATSOEVER.

RANGEMENT DE LA SURFACE DE CUISSON
DANGER
Ne pas placer la surface de cuisson en mode de
rangement ou de voyage immédiatement après
l’utilisation. Laisser refroidir la surface de cuisson
avant de la déplacer ou de la ranger. Le défaut de le
faire pourrait entraîner un dommage à la propriété,
des blessures corporelles ou la mort.
•Ranger dans un endroit sec.
•Après le nettoyage et l’entretien de l’appareil selon les
recommandations, placer la plaque de la plaque à frire
en position de rangement, selon la Figure 14.
•Pour des plaques à frire permanentes, pousser le tiroir
en position de rangement et verrouiller le système de
coulisses pour garder l’appareil fixe, selon la Figure 15.
•Pour les plaques à frire à dégagement rapide,
débrancher du système d’alimentation en gaz propane
liquide à faible pression du véhicule récréatif au moyen
d’un raccord à dégagement rapide (suivant les étapes
de sécurité applicables).
•Ranger la plaque à frire à l’intérieur SEULEMENT si
elle est éteinte, débranchée du système de gaz à faible
pression, et à température de la pièce.
•Retinez le bac a graisse et nettoyez-le avent de le
ranger.
NETTOYAGE DE L’ENSEMBLE BRÛLEUR
Suivre ces instructions pour nettoyer le brûleur.
1. Éteindre le gaz (OFF) au bouton de commande.
2. S’assurer que tous les composants ont refroidi.
3. Retirerlaplaquede lagrillede cuissondel’assemblage.
4. Utiliserunebrosseenaciersurtoutelasurfaceextérieure
du brûleur pour retirer les résidus de nourriture et
la saleté.
5. Nettoyer tous les orifices bouchés avec un fil rigide,
comme un trombone ouvert.
6 En portant une protection pour les yeux, utiliser un tuyau
d’air pour forcer l’air à l’intérieur du tube du brûleur, en
sortant par les orifices du brûleur. Vérifier chaque orifice
afin d’assurer que l’air sort de chaque buse respective.
7. Si vous trouvez de grandes fissures ou de grands trous,
communiquez avec le service àlaclientèlede Suburban
pour des instructions ou un remplacement.
Lasécuritéalimentaireestunepartie importantepourprofiter
de l’expérience de cuisson à l’extérieur. Pour protéger les
aliments contre des bactéries nocives, suivre ces quatre
étapes de base :
1. Nettoyage : se laver les mains, les ustensiles et les
surfaces avec de l’eau savonneuse chaude avant et
après avoir manipulé de la viande ou de la volaille crue.
2. Séparation: séparerlesviandesetlesvolaillescruesdes
aliments prêts-à-manger pour éviter une contamination
croisée. Utiliser un plateau et des ustensiles propres pour
retirer des aliments cuits.
3. Cuisson : bien cuire la viande et la volaille pour tuer
les bactéries. Utiliser un thermomètre afin d’assurer les
températures internes des aliments.
4. Refroidissement : réfrigérer rapidement les aliments
préparés et les restants. Pour de plus amples

Suburban loin des murs, des bâtiments, des véhicules et
d’autres structureslorsdel’utilisation. Ne bloquiezpas la
circulation d’air de combustion ou de ventilation. Consultez
lasectiond’Assemblage etd’installation pourdeplusamples
informations.
• Nettoyezsouventlasurfacedecuisson,depréférenceaprès
chaque utilisation.
•Gardezlesouverturesdeventilationdansl’enceinte dela
bouteille exemptes de tout débris.
•Vérifiezs’il yadesinsectes etdes nidsd’insectes. Lecas
échéant, nettoyez les tubes du brûleur/venturi. Un tube
bloquépeutentraînerun incendiesousl’appareil. Consultez
«NETTOYAGEDEL’ENSEMBLE BRÛLEUR»àlapage8.
• Gardez l’appareil dégagé et exempt de matières combustibles
et d’essence et d’autres vapeurs et liquides inflammables.
VÉRIFICATION DE LA VANNE
Important: pourvérifierlavanne,appuyezd’abord surlebouton
et relâchez-le;leboutondevraitrebondir.Sileboutonnerebondit
pas, remplacer l’ensemble de la vanne avant d’utiliser la surface de
cuisson. Tournez le bouton en position basse, ensuite retournez-le
enpositionOFF(arrêt).Lavannedevraittournerlibrement.
NETTOYAGE GÉNÉRAL DE LA SURFACE DE CUISSON
• Nepasconfondreuneaccumulationbruneounoiredegraisse
etdefuméeavecdelapeinture.Nepasappliquerunnettoyant
caustiquedesurfacedecuisson/fourauxsurfacespeintes.
•Pièces en plastique : laver avec de l’eau savonneuse chaude
etessuyer.NepasutiliserdeCitrisol,denettoyantsabrasifs,
de dégraissants ou un nettoyant concentré pour le four sur
les pièces en plastique. Des dommages et des défauts des
pièces pourraientsurvenir.
• Surfaces peintes : laver avec un détergent doux ou un
nettoyant non abrasif avec de l’eau savonneuse chaude.
Essuyer avec un linge non abrasif doux.
• Des dépôts de graisse cuite peuvent nécessiter l’utilisation
d’un tampon nettoyeur abrasif pour plastique. Utiliser
uniquementdansladirectiondelafinitionbrosséepouréviter
des dommages. Ne pas utiliser un tampon abrasif dans les
parties comportant desimprimés.
Pournettoyerlasurfacedecuissonaprèschaqueutilisation ,
gratterlégèrementavecunespatuleenplastiqueouunracloir,et
essuyerlasurfacedecuissonavecunlingeouunessuie-tout.
Pour les résidus coriaces de nourriture, verser de l’eau sur la
surfacedecuissonchaudeetlaisserbouillirlesrésidus.
ENTRETIEN DU CONDITIONNEMENT DE LA SURFACE
DE CUISSON
Après avoir conditionné la surface de cuisson, on devrait
appliquerunetrès mince couche d’huile pourentretenirle lien du
conditionnementetlaprotégerdelarouille.Encasderouilleoude
calaminage (conditionnement écaillé), frotter avec une laine d’acier
ouunpapiersabléàfaiblegrain,ensuitereconditionnerlasurface.

ALLUMEZ LA SURFACE DE CUISSON
1. Liretouteslesinstructionsavantde l’allumer
2. Appuyer sur le bouton de commande et tourner en sens
antihoraire,àlaposition«Light»(allumer). VoirlaFigure11.
3. Si l’allumage ne se produit pas en 5 secondes, éteindre
la commande du brûleur, attendre 5 minutes et répéter le
processus d’allumage.
REMARQUE: Plusieurs cycles peuvent être nécessaires
pour purger l’air du système d’approvisionnement engaz.

Nepassepencherpar-dessuslasurfacedecuissonenl’allumant.
S’assurer qu’il n’y ait pas de fuites de gaz.
1. S’assurer queleboutondecommandesoitenposition«OFF»
(arrêt).
2. Retirerledessus de lasurface decuisson.
3. Allumez une allumette de 11 po, placez-la ensuite sur le côté
droit ou gauche dubrûleur.
4. Appuyezsurleboutondecommandeettournez-ledanslesens
antihoraire à la position HIGH (élevée). Assurez-vous que le
brûleur s’allume et demeure allumé.
VÉRIFICATION DE LA FLAMME DU BRÛLEUR
Avant d’allumer le brûleur, retirez la plaque de la surface de
cuisson, afin d’inspecter visuellement laflamme. Allumez le brûleur
QUELLE HUILE DOIS-JEUTILISER?
Certaines huiles sont meilleures que d’autres pour le
conditionnement. Nous recommandons l’huile de lin pour le
premier conditionnement, puisqu’elle crée un lien très durable;
cependant,vouspouvezégalementutiliserleshuilessuivantes:
• Huile delin
• Huile d’olive vierge extra
• Huile végétale
• Huile desoya
L’idée de base du premier conditionnement est de revêtir la
surfacedecuissond’huile etdechaufferl’huile àunetempérature
supérieureàsonpointdefuméeafindepolymériserl’huileetcréer
un lien à la surface de cuisson. Le résultat est une surface de
cuissonnoire,résistanteàl’adhésion,quiestfacileànettoyer.
COMMENT CONDITIONNER VOTRE SURFACE DE
CUISSON
1. Appliquezunepetitequantitéd’huilesurledessusdelasurface
de cuisson et l’étendre avec un chiffon ou un essuie-tout
(utiliserunepinceouunespatuleenmétalpourtenirlechiffon
ou l’essuie-tout).
2. Allumezlasurfacedecuissonàchaleurmoyenne-élevée.
3. Chauffez l’huile jusqu’à son « point de fumée » et lalaisser
continuer à décolorer. C’est bon.
4. Laissez la surface de cuisson refroidir un peu. Répétezà
quelquesrepriseslesétapes1à3,jusqu’à cequelasurfacede
cuisson soit noire.
