INSTALLATION
1. Bracket Installation
Drill three holes on the wall or ceiling, insert bolt into the hole and tighten to fix the
device. Put the camera on it and adjust the direction.
2. Solar Panel Installation
Drill two holes and insert screws. Align the hole on the back of solar panel. The solar
panel also can be placed on horizontal plane with two feet. Put the camera on it and
adjust the direction.
3. Magnetitic Bracket Installation
Drill one hole and insert screw. Align the hole on the back of magnetitic bracket.
Put the camera on it and adjust the direction.
SET-UP
Note: Camera can be charged through both USB cable and polar panel.

1. Install Phone App
Search for "Smart Life" app in App Store/Google play, or scan the QR code below
to download.

2. Get a New Account
If you already have an account for Smart Life, please log in your account and skip to
step 4.
①Open “Smart Life” app to click “Register →Agree”. Choose country/region, fill in
the mobile number or Email.

② Fill in email address or phone number, a verification code will be sent, please get
it and fill it in.

③Then set password, click “Done”.

④After registering the account, you need to add home information, click “(at the
left bottom)”, enter the "Home Management", click "Add Home" and fill in Home
name, location, add rooms, then click “Save” to add successfully.
Note:
• E-mail address or mobile phone number should be valid.
• The length of password must be within 6-20 characters, no special characters
included.
• Please choose the same country in register and login.
• If you forgot the password, click “Forget Password” to reset it.
3. Power on Camera
Press and hold the power button for 5 seconds to turn on camera. (If it cannot be
power on, plug in DC5V 1A/2A power adapter to charge the camera for 15 mins
first.) The camera is started successfully when the indicator light blinking slowly.
Note: DC5V 1A/2A power adapter is not included in packing list.

②Follow the instructions to ensure that the camera is activated. (The indicator light is
turning red and flashing slowly.)
4. Add Your Camera
①Bring the camera and your phone to the router within 1 to 3 feet (30 to 100 cm)
and connect Wi-Fi.
③ Choose Room, click “Add Device →Video Surveillance →Smart Camera →next
step →Enter Wi-Fi Password →Confirm →Continue”.

④ A QR code will be shown, just face the phone to the camera, after hearing the
beep, then click “I heard a Prompt”, see below picture.

Note: If you have downloaded “Akaso Smart” to link your cameras, please remove
cameras linked to Akaso Smart account and download “Smart Life” to link your
cameras again. (More details, please refer to the procedure “SET-UP”.)
1. Use Amazon Echo To Control
a. Configure the Amazon Echo device
(If you have already configured Amazon Echo, you can skip this step. The following
instructions are based on the iOS client.)
①Make sure your Amazon Echo device is powered on and connected to a Wi-Fi
network.
②Open the Alexa app on your phone. After successful login, tap on the menu in the
upper left corner of the Home page, select "Settings" and tap "Set Up A New
Device" to set up the Amazon Echo.
③Choose your Amazon Echo device type and language for connecting. Press and
hold the small dot on the device until the light turns yellow. Then tap "Continue"
to connect to the hotspot.
④After connecting to the Amazon Echo hotspot, return to the page. At this point,
the connection is successful. Tap "Continue" to proceed to the next step. Choose
a Wi-Fi network to connect to. Amazon Echo
will take a few minutes to try to connect to
the network.
b. Key step - link Skill
①Tap on "Skills" in the Alexa app menu.

Name your camera and click the room where it is, click “Done”.

② Then search for "Smart Life". Tap "Enable to use" to enable the Skill.
③ Enter the Smart Life APP account and password, then tap “Link Now” to link your
Smart Life account to enable the Skill. Continue and tap “Discover the device” to
add your camera into the list. Then you can start your smart home journey.
2. Use Google Assistant To Control
a. Configure Google Home device
(If you have already configured Google Home, you can skip this step. The following
instructions are based on the iOS client)
①Make sure your Google Home device is powered on and connected to a Wi-Fi
network.
②Open the Google Home app on your phone. After successful login, tap on the
menu in the upper left corner and select "SET UP" to set up Google Home.
③It will notify you with a sound to ensure that you are connected to the correct
device. After you hear the sound, tap "YES" to proceed to the next step.
④ You can choose to differentiate the room where Google Home is located from
other Google devices. Then, select the Wi-Fi network and language, wait for the
system to complete the configuration, and tap "next".
⑤According to the page prompts, choose whether to agree to the corresponding
operation. When the page displays "Google Home is ready", select "continue" to
continue to the next step.
⑥Next is the voice control guide tutorial. Once you're done listening, tap "FINISH
SET UP." At this point, Google Home setup is comple.
b. Key step - link Action
① On the main page of the Google Home app,
tap the sidebar menu in the top left corner
and select "Set up device".

ADJUST PIR DETECTION DISTANCE
PIR “Body Detection” is on by default and the default sensitivity is “Mid”, but it is
adjustable. “My Device” - The detecting distance is 6 meters (20 feet).
Note: Higher sensitivity offers longer detecting distance, but it would lead to more
false alarms. You are advised to set up the sensitivity level to “Low” or “Medium”
when you install the camera outdoors.

② Then tap the bottom “Have something already set up?” and search for "Smart
Life".
③Find Smart Life on the list and open it, select the country where your Smart Life
app account is located, enter your Smart Life
app account and password, and tap “Link Now".
④Enter the Smart Life app account and password, then tap “Link Now” to link your
Smart Life account. Choose the room where your device is located, and then the
skill will appear on the Home Control Devices list. Now you can begin your smart
home journey.

ALARM PUSH NOTIFICATION AND PLAYBACK
Battery camera with PIR sensor is not designed for 7*24 all day recording, but aims
at pushing alarm message notification to app and record video to microSD card
when PIR sensor detected human body motion events, then you can playback the
motion videos wherever you are via Smart Life.
When PIR triggered, camera and system actions:
1. Alarm Sound in App (please open permission for Smart Life notification in mobile
setting and turn mobile volume on).
2. Alarm Message Notification (Please enable Smart Life notification in mobile
setting).

BATTERY MANAGEMENT
1. If the battery capacity is less than 20%, the app will send an alarm message to
remind you to charge in time.
2. You can charge the camera with DC 5V/1A power adapter
3. If your battery is consumed too quickly, the possible cause is that the camera is
woken up too frequently. It is recommended to lower down the “Body Detection”
sensitivity or turn it off occasionally.

microSDcard) or Cloud storage.

IMPORTANT NOTES FOR REDUCING FALSE ALARMS
1. Do not install the camera in a position facing any objects with bright lights,
including sunshine, bright lamp lights, etc.
2. Do not place the camera too close to a place where there are frequently moving
vehicles. Based on numerous tests, the recommended distance between the
camera and vehicle is 15 meters (55 feet.).
3. Stay away from the outlets, including air conditioner vents, humidifier outlets, the
heat transfer vents of the projects, etc.
4. Do not let the camera facing the mirror.
5. Keep the camera at least 1 meter away from any wireless devices in order to avoid
wireless interference, including Wi-Fi router and phones.
6. When installing the camera, it’s not suggested to make the PIR sensor vertically
face the moving objects, otherwise it may not detect the motion event. It is
suggested to make the angular between PIR sensor and detected object larger
than 10 degree.

MONTAJE
1. Instalación del Soporte
Taladre tres agujeros en la pared o en el techo, inserte los tacos de pared y atornille
para fijar el soporte. Coloque la cámara y ajuste la orientación.
2. Instalación del Panel Solar
Localice una ubicación que esté expuesta al sol la mayor parte del día, taladre tres
agujeros en la pared, inserte los tacos de pared y atornille para fijar el soporte.
Coloque el panel solar y oriéntelo hacia el sur con una inclinación aproximada de
45° con respecto al suelo.
3. Instalación del Soporte Magnético
A. Atornillado: Taladre un agujero e inserte el taco y el tornillo. Atornille hasta dejar
la cabeza del tornillo para que el soporte se ajuste a la pared. Monte por la ranura
en la parte posterior del soporte magnético. Coloque la cámara y ajuste la dirección.
B. Pegado: Desengrase la superficie del soporte y la zona donde se vaya a pegar,
quite una de las láminas protectoras del adhesivo de dos caras y pegue en el
soporte, después quite la segunda lámina y pegue en el sitio aplicando presión
brevemente para asegurar la posición del soporte. Coloque la cámara y ajuste la
dirección
Nota: La cámara se puede cargar a través del cable USB y el panel polar.

CONFIGURACIÓN
1. Instalar la APP en el smartphone
Busque la aplicación "Smart Life" en App Store / Google play, o escanee el código
QR a continuación para descargarla.

2. Crear una Cuenta Nueva
Si ya tiene una cuenta Smart Life, inicie sesión en su cuenta y vaya al paso 4.
①Abra la aplicación "Smart Life" y haga clic en "Registrarse →Aceptar". Elija país/
región e ingrese su número de teléfono móvil o correo electrónico.

en "(en la parte inferior izquierda)", entre en "Administración de la casa", haga
clic en "Agregar casa" y complete el nombre de la casa, la ubicación, agregue
habitaciones y luego haga clic en "Guardar" para añadir la información con éxito.
Nota:
• La dirección de correo electrónico móvil deben ser válidos.
• La longitud de la contraseña debe tener entre 6 y 20 caracteres, sin incluir
caracteres especiales.
• Elija el mismo país para registrarse e iniciar sesión.
• Si olvidó la contraseña, haga clic en "Olvidé mi contraseña" para restablecerla.
3. Encienda la cámara
Mantenga presionado el botón de encendido durante 5 segundos para encender la
cámara. (Si no puede encenderse, conecte el adaptador de corriente DC 5V 1A/2A
para cargar la cámara durante 15 minutos primero). La cámara se enciende con
éxito cuando la luz indicadora parpadea lentamente en rojo.
Nota: El adaptador de corriente DC 5V 1A/2A no está incluido en la lista de embalaje.

4. Añade Tu Cámara
① Lleve la cámara y su smartphone cerca del router de 30 a 100 cm (1 a 3 pies) y
asegúrese de que el Wi-Fi está encendido.

indicadora se pone roja y parpadea lentamente).
③Elija Habitación, haga clic en “Agregar dispositivo →Videovigilancia →Cámara
inteligente →siguiente paso →Ingresar contraseña de Wi-Fi → Confirmar →
Continuar”.
④ Se mostrará un código QR, simplemente oriente el teléfono hacia la cámara a
unos 15-25cm para que la cámara lea el código QR. La cámara emitirá un pitido
cuando haya reconocido el código QR. Después de escuchar el pitido, haga clic
en "Oír el tono de aviso", vea la imagen a continuación.

Nota: Si ha descargado "Akaso Smart" para vincular sus cámaras, elimine las
cámaras vinculadas a la cuenta de Akaso Smart y descargue "Smart Life" para
vincular sus cámaras nuevamente. (Más detalles, consulte el procedimiento

1. Utilice Amazon Echo para el control.
a. Configure el dispositivo Amazon Echo. (si ya ha configurado Amazon Echo,

①Asegúrese de que su dispositivo Amazon Echo esté encendido y conectado a su
red Wi-Fi.

"Configuración" y toque "Configurar un nuevo dispositivo" para configurar

CONTROL POR DISPOSITIVOS DE TERCEROS

② Toque el icono de la lupa para buscar "Smart Life". Una vez encontrada,
seleccione y pulse en “Permitir su uso” para habilitar la skill.
③ Introduzca su usuario y contraseña de la aplicación Smart Life, luego toque
“Autorizar” y recibirá un mensaje de vinculación correcta. Cierre la ventana para
terminar de configurar la skill. Continúe y toque “Detectar dispositivos” para
agregar su cámara a la lista. Ahora puedes comenzar tu viaje con tu casa
inteligente.
2. Use el Asistente de Google para controlar
a. Configurar dispositivo Google Home
(Si ya configuró Google Home, puede omitir este paso. Las siguientes instrucciones
se basan en el cliente iOS)
①Asegúrese de que su dispositivo Google Home esté encendido y conectado a su red
Wi-Fi.
② Abra la aplicación Google Home en su smartphone. Después de iniciar sesión

"CONFIGURAR" para configurar Google Home.

b. Paso clave - vincular skill
①Toque "Skills y juegos" en la aplicación Alexa.

"Smart Life".
③Una vez localizado Smart Life en la lista, ábralo,
seleccione el país donde se encuentra su cuenta
de la aplicación Smart Life, ingrese su cuenta y
contraseña de la aplicación Smart Life, y toque
“Vincular ahora” para vincular su cuenta Smart Life.
④Elija el dispositivo cámara, la habitación donde se encuentra el dispositivo,
y finalmente aparecerá en la lista de dispositivos de control del hogar.
Ahora puedes comenzar tu viaje con tu casa inteligente.
⑥El siguiente es el tutorial de guía de control de voz. Una vez que haya terminado
de escuchar, toque "FINALIZAR CONFIGURACIÓN". En este punto, la configuración
de Google Home está completa.
b. Paso clave: añadir dispositivo
① En la página principal de la aplicación Google
Home, toque el menú “ +” en la esquina superior
izquierda y seleccione "Configurar dispositivo".

NOTIFICACIONES Y REPRODUCCIÓN DE ALARMAS
La cámara de batería con sensor PIR no está diseñada para grabar 7d*24h durante
todo el día, pero tiene como objetivo enviar notificaciones de mensajes de alarma a
la aplicación y grabar video en la tarjeta microSD cuando el sensor PIR detecta
eventos de movimiento de cuerpo humano, después puede reproducir los videos de
movimiento donde quiera que esté a través de
la aplicación Smart Life.
Cuando se activa el PIR, se ejecutan las siguientes
acciones:
1. Sonido de alarma en la aplicación (conceda permiso
para notificaciones de la aplicación Smart Life en la
configuración del smartphone y el volumen del
sonido audible).
2. Notificación de mensaje de alarma (conceda
permiso para notificaciones de la aplicación
Smart Life en la configuración del smartphone).
GESTIÓN DE LA BATERÍA
1. Si la capacidad de la batería es inferior al 20%, la aplicación enviará un mensaje
de alarma para recordarle que cargue la batería a tiempo.
2. Puede cargar la cámara con un adaptador de corriente DC 5V/1A.
3. Si su batería se consume demasiado rápido, la posible causa es que la cámara se
despierta con demasiada frecuencia. Se recomienda bajar la sensibilidad de
"Detección de cuerpo" o apagarla ocasionalmente.
3. Se captura una instantánea de la alarma y un video que se grabarán en la tarjeta
microSD (si tiene insertada una tarjeta microSD) o en el almacenamiento en la
nube.

AJUSTE DE LA DISTANCIA DE DETECCIÓN PIR
La “Detección de cuerpo” PIR está activada de manera predeterminada y la
sensibilidad por defecto está establecida en “Media”, pero es ajustable en
“Mi dispositivo”: La distancia por defecto de detección es hasta 6 metros (20 pies)
Nota: Una mayor sensibilidad ofrece una mayor distancia de detección, pero
generaría más falsas alarmas. Se recomienda configurar el nivel de sensibilidad en
"Bajo" cuando instale la cámara en exteriores.
