Allgemeines
Mit dem von haben Sie die
Möglichkeit
1. zwei vom Helm-Hersteller unabhängige Bluetooth-Helmeinbau-
sätze, (wie das mit integriertem
Verstärker und auswechselbarem Akku),
2. zwei beliebige Bluetooth-Helme mit Headsetprotokoll oder
3. zwei Bluetooth-Headsets ihrer Wahl,
schnurlos miteinander zu verbinden.
Dadurch erweitern Sie jeden Bluetoothhelm zu einer kabellosen
Helmsprechanlage.
Darüber hinaus können Sie über zwei Anschlüsse zusätzliche Geräte,
wie Audi, Navi, Funk oder Handy anschließen und diese über beide
Helme nutzen.

Voraussetzungen
Der AKE “Plug & Play”- Service
1. Ein aufgeladener Taschenrepeater.
2. Ein oder zwei Bluetooth-Helme, oder entsprechende Bluetooth-
Systeme mit aufgeladenem Akku, welche das Headsetprotokoll
unterstützten, Passwort 0000, 1111 oder 1234.
3. Alle Bluetoothkomponenten müssen sich innerhalb der
Reichweite der Bluetoothverbindung befinden, (maximal 10m).
Wenn sich der Taschenrepeater in der Mitte
zwischen den Bluetooth-Helmen befindet wird die Reichweite, wie
bei Repeatern üblich, verdoppelt.
Beachten Sie, dass durch Abschattungen oder Störquellen die
Reichweite beträchtlich reduziert werden kann und dass bei der auf
den Fahrbetrieb ausgelegten Lautstärke im Ruhezustand das Auftreten
von Störgeräu-schen, wie gelegentlich auftretenden Plopps, etc. nicht
auszuschließen ist. Für eine optimale Verbindung sollte der Taschen-
repeater nicht näher als 50 cm zum Bluetooth-Helmset untergebracht
sein (untere Jackentasche).
Wenn Sie den Pair and Go Taschenrepeater und die
Bluetooth-Helmsets im Set erworben haben, sind diese bereits voll-
ständig betriebsbereit. Der Taschenrepeater trägt dann
auf der Rückseite die Aufschrift. “

den beiliegenden Aufklebern entsprechend kennzeichnen.

und los gehts¹.

¹) Reihenfolge beachten und abwarten bis die Verbindung automatisch hergestellt ist.
Die grüne LED wechselt von blinken auf an. Falls die grüne LED an, aber kein
Signal zu hören ist, Taste am Helmset drücken, wenn Kontrollmelodie aber kein
Signal, Taste nochmal drücken.

Zurücksetzen oder Betrieb mit anderen Geräten
Bei unerklärlichen Fehlfunktionen oder für den Betrieb mit noch nicht
gepaarten Bluetooth-Helmsets müssen Sie die Geräte neu paaren,
ansonsten können Sie die nächsten zwei Abschnitte überspringen.
Falls der Taschenrepeater bereits gepaart wurde, sucht
dieser nach dem Einschalten seinen Partner (die grüne LED blinkt im 1
Sek. -Rhythmus). In diesem Fall ca. 15 Sekunden abwarten bis grüne
LED langsamer blinkt und dann den gewünschen Kanal des
Taschenrepeaters ausschalten (die zugehörige Taste drücken, bis
die rote LED aufleuchtet).
Halten Sie Ihren Bluetooth-Helm oder Ihr Bluetooth-Helmset in die
Nähe des angeschlossenen Taschenrepeater und
achten Sie darauf, dass kein weiteres Bluetoothsystem in der Nähe im
Paarungsmodus ist.
Bringen Sie nun das Bluetooth-Helm (-Set) in den Paarungsmodus,
indem Sie das Gerät einschalten und die Taste festhalten, bis die LEDs
abwechselnd blinken (siehe Bedienungsanleitung des Bluetooth-
Helmsets).
Anschließend aktivieren Sie beim Taschenrepeater
ebenfalls den Paarungsmodus, (die zugehörige Taste drücken und
festhalten, bis die LEDs abwechselnd blinken).
Nach erfolgreicher Paarung blinkt langsam die grüne LED (Standby-
Modus).
Je nach der in den Helm eingebauten Bluetooth-Komponente, ist die
Verbindung nach dem Paaren oder nach dem Wiedereinschalten erst
auf Stand By und muss noch auf unterschiedliche Art aktiv geschaltet
werden:

Am besten immer erst die Bluetooth-Helmsets einschalten
und den Helm aufsetzen und erst dann¹ den BlueCom 102
Taschenrepeater einschalten.
Taste am Bluetooth-Helmconnector nach dem Paaren einmal kurz
drücken und abwarten, bis grüne LED dauerhaft an ist

Taschenrepeater kurz drücken und abwarten, bis Kontrollsignal im
Helm zu hören ist, grüne LED schaltet ein (Verbindung ist kurzzeitig
aktiv), weiter abwarten, bis grüne LED wieder blinkt (Verbindung
schaltet wieder ab), Select/On/Off kurz drücken, grüne LED
schaltet wieder ein, Verbindung ist nun dauerhaft aktiv

Der Taschenrepeater ist so konstruiert, dass nach ein-
maligem Paaren und Anmelden die Verbindung in der Regel automa-
tisch wieder hergestellt wird, zum Beispiel...
- wenn die Funkverbindung nach einer Unterbrechung (z.B. durch
Überschreiten der Reichweite oder durch Störfelder) wieder
sauber ist
- oder einfach nur nachdem der Taschenrepeater
aus und wieder eingeschaltet wurde

¹) Der Tachenrepeater sucht beim Einschalten die betriebsbereiten Bluetooth-
Helmsets. Wenn die Bluetooth-Helmsets erst später eingeschaltet (oder aus und
wieder eingeschaltet) werden, kann die Automatik durcheinander kommen.

Eingänge für externe Signale
Der Taschenrepeater hat zwei Eingänge für externe
Signale.
Über können Audiosignale, wie MP3, Navi oder Radio
eingespeist werden, Anschluss 3-polig 3,5 mm Klinkenstecker. Auf
Wunsch kann das Signal für den Sozius über einen Programmier-
schalter gesperrt werden (bzw. für den Fahrer, wenn die Helmsets
getauscht werden). Den Programmierschalter finden Sie neben den
Anschlussbuchsen. Drücken Sie für die Signalunter-drückung mit
einem kleinen Schraubenzieher den linken Schalter nach oben.
Die Buchse ermöglicht den Anschluss von Funkgeräten und
Handys über einen 3-poligen 3,5 mm Klinkenstecker.
Passende Kabel sind als Zubehör lieferbar.

Versuchen Sie als Fahrer niemals, während der Fahrt die
Geräteeinstellungen zu ändern!
Bluetooth-Geräte sind Funkgeräte kleiner Leistung und
dürfen nicht überall benutzt werden, beachten Sie die
entsprechenden Sicherheitshinweise.

General Information
With the from you can
connect wireless
1. two Bluetooth helmet sets, independent from the helmet brand,
(like the with integrated
amplifier and replaceable battery),
2. two Bluetooth helmets with headset protocol or
3. two Bluetooth headset of your choice
This way you can upgrade every Bluetooth helmet to a wireless helmet
communication system.
Furthermore, you can attach additional devices, like audio, GPS, 2-
way-radio or mobile phone over two connections and use these over
both helmets.

Requirements
The AKE “Plug & Play” service
1. An already charged pocket repeater.
2. One or two Bluetooth helmets or an adequate Bluetooth system
with charged battery that works with the headset protocol, pass
word where required: 0000, 1111 or 1234
3. All Bluetooth components must be within the reach of the
Bluetooth connection (max. 10 m). If the pocket
repeater is positioned in the center, the range will be doubled, as
always with repeaters.
Please note that due to shadowing effects or interferences it is possible
that the range is considerably reduced and also, that the volume is
layed out for driving noises and therefore disturbing noises like an
occasionally arising plopp might not be avoidable when in standby.
For an optimum connection the pocket repeater should not be kept
closer than 50 cm to the Bluetooth helmset (lower jacket pocket).
When you purchase the Pair and Go pocket repeater
and the Bluetooth helmet sets together, they are ready to be used
immediately. The pocket repeater will read on the back
“ ”. To avoid confusions,
you should mark your helmet with the attached labels.

First start the Bluetooth helmet set and put on the helmet.
Then switch on the BlueCom 102 pocket repeater
and off you go.¹

¹) Please mind correct order and wait for the automatic connection. The green LED
changes from flashing to status on. If the green LED is on, but no signal is heard,
press button at helmet set, if control melody is heard but however no signal, press
button once more.

Reset or use with other devices
When encountering inexplicable malfunctions or if used with not yet
paired Bluetooth helmet sets, you will have to pair the devices again. If
not, you can ignore the following two chapters.
If the pocket repeater was paired already, it will search
for his partner when switched on (green LED flashes in 1-second
pulse). Now wait for approx. 15 sec. until the green LED is flashing
slowlier and than switch-off the desired cannel of the
pocket repeater (press the respective button until the red LED goes on).
Hold your Bluetooth helmet or helmet set close to the connected
pocket repeater and make sure that no other Bluetooth
device in the area is ready for pairing.
Now get the Bluetooth helmet (set) ready for pairing by activating the
device and holding down the button until the LEDs flash alternately
(refer to the operating instructions of the Bluetooth helmet set).
Now also activate the pairing mode at the pocket
repeater (press the respective button and hold down until the LEDs flash
alternately).
After a successful pairing, the LED will slowly flash green (standby
mode).
Depending on the Bluetooth components used, the connection is only
on stand by and has to be activated in different ways after the pairing
or when restarting.

The pocket repeater is developed to make it possi-
ble that after the first pairing and registering usually a reconnection
is made automatically, for example ...
- if the radio communication is clean again after an interruption
(e.g. due to exceeding the range or due to interferences)
- or simply after the pocket repeater was switched
off and on again

¹) When switching on the pocket repeater, it will search for a Bluetooth helmet set. It
will confuse the automatic if the Bluetooth helmet set is switched on later (or off
and on again).

Inputs for external signals
The pocket repeater has two inputs for external signals.
With it is possible to receive audio signals, like MP3, GPS or
car radio with a 3 pole, 3,5 mm jack plug connection. On request the
signal for the pillion can be deactivated with a programming switch
(e.g. for the driver when the helmet sets were switched). The program-
ming switch you can find next to the connecting socket. For signal
suppression press the switch upward with a small screwdriver.
With the socket it is possible to connect two-way radios or
mobile phones with a 3 pole, 3,5 mm jack plug.
Adequate cables are available as accessories.

Never try to change the setting of the devices while driving!
Bluetooth devices are wireless transmitting sets with a small
range and are not allowed everywhere, please remind safety
advices.
