1. Introduction
We all have people we want to protect, they could be our children, elderly relatives, lone workers
or we will have treasured possessions such as vehicles and shipments we have to secure. This is
an ultra compact, affordable and easy to use solution. The Alaska Go Everywhere APT-14 is the
latest real-time personal tracking and security device using cutting edge GPS/GSM technology
and mapping from Google Earth.
Tracks locations without subscription costs or contract, using a standard UK network SIM card of
your choice. The APT-14 uses GPS (global positioning system) technology to calculate its
location/speed, and uses the mobile phone SMS network to send that location to you. The co-
ordinates can then be input via Google Earth on a PC, PDA, internet phone or a SATNAV to show
the real time location.
The in built geo fencing facility allows the user to identify an imaginary boundary (0-2000m)
around a specific area. Features text alerts to warn of: exceeded speed limit, outside geo fence
and low power. In addition the Go Everywhere also supports SOS call function with two way
emergency call buttons and call receive possible via the supplied earphone and microphone.
Internal lithium-ion battery power is rechargeable via supplied car cord, USB cable and mains
adaptor. A fixed wire optional accessory (AH-W14P) is available for in car applications.
The APT-14 is a fantastic personal safety solution for lone worker protection, those suffering from
dementia and Alzheimer's, extreme sports enthusiasts, hikers, mountain climbers and children. In
fact anyone who cares about their valued possessions or loved ones!
