Winding of the alternator is not connected to the ground. It is separate isolated system power supply.
This ensures the safety of the device with respect to the possibility of injury to the operator an electric
shock. It is strongly prohibited to earth some of working conductor in generator electrical circuit,
except of cases, where electrical circuit is equipped with residual current breaker with tripping
sensitivity 30 mA. These installations must be carried out by a specialist with electro qualifications
only.
Residual current circuit breaker will provide safe operation and protects the operator in the event of
damage of the insulation of alternator and power supplied appliances. Residual current circuit breaker
disconnects the electrical circuit in the event of a discrepancy between the electrical force-output of
alternator and parts of the circuit connected to ground at the output from the circuit breaker.
Must not be connected together conductors PE and N to final one conductor PEN!
3. OPERATING CONDITIONS
COMPLIANCE WITH NATIONAL SAFETY STANDARDS. The device is manufactured in
compliance with European safety standards. May not be fully complied with any national
standards.
Devices must be operated at maximum tilt 15 degrees from the horizontal position.
The machine must be protected from humidity and rain, chemically aggressive areas,
mechanical damage, excessive overloading - exceeding the tech. parameters and to uncareful
handling.
OVERLOADING. Each user must know the maximal nominal power output of power
generator, which must not be exceeded. Generator is equipped by a thermal fuse for
voltage 230V, which serves as a protection against long time overloads. If the power output is
interrupted during the use, it can be caused by breaking off the fuse due to long time
overloading. In this case, wait a short time period, and then solve the reason of overloading
and switch-on the fuse again by pressing the button located near the sockets. Thermal fuses
have values corresponding to each type of power generator. In case of the replacement, use
original spare parts. Thermal fuse cannot secure short time strong overloading
repeatedly, which is exceeding the nominal power output of generator. It can cause
serious damage of the alternator, for which the manufacturer takes no
responsibility.
During the connection of electrical machines and devices to the generator, is necessary to
respect technical parameters of power generator and connected electric devices. In case of
any doubts, please contact your dealer or the manufacturer of power generator.
Below mentioned coefficients, determines the approximate multiple exceeding of the label-
nominal power of powered devices, which may occur in short-time during the operation,
especially during start-up of the equipment. Most of devices has a coefficient 1 except of below

Conditions for connection of power generator to the three phases
electrical circuit 3 x 400/230V as backup source of current.
It is necessary to ensure at least following conditions, in case of connection of power generator to the
three phases electrical circuits as backup source of current:
The connection must be carried out by technician with electrical qualification only, who
also has appropriate knowledges concerning of the project (site).
Circuits connected to power generator must be safely separated from the grid and
other possible source and circuits of current, which are not subjects of the
backup.
The power generator can be connected by five conductors - three phases circuit by separate
wire PE and wire N..
The connection to old four conductors – three phases installation (with PEN wire) is possible,
but after making of necessary changes in back up electrical circuit, which are necessary to
consult with the producer of the power generator.
The power generator must be connected to the backup circuit via it’s circuit breakers. Their
over current and short circuit current protection functions must be ensured.
The connection of power generator to circuit must be always realized by five
conductorquetors cable only (3 phases + Neutral wire + PE wire). If, this condition is not
fulfilled:
o it will cause wrong function of residual current circuit breaker
o increase the risk of electric shock by current
o will rise a risk of damage of appliances connected to the backup system circuit.
The power consumption of the connected appliances, must not exceeded the power output
of the used power generator. (
Other conditions follow valid local standards)
Notice:
The conductors PE and N, must not be connected together to final PEN conductor!
Please call to the producer of power generator in case of any doubts.
