 supervisedatalltimes.

Riskofaccidentaldrowning.Extremecautionmustbeexercisedtopreventunauthorizedaccess
 bychildren.

Riskofinjury.Neveroperatethespapoolifsuctionttingsarebrokenormissing.

 Riskofelectricalshock.Donotpermitanyelectricalappliancesuchasalight,radio,television,etc.
 within1.5mofaspapoolunlesssuchappliancesareinstalledandbuilt-inbythemanufacturer.
5. ELECTRICAL SUPPLY:
 Theelectricalsupplyforthisproductmustincludeasuitablyratedswitch&RCDto  
 openallungroundedsupplyconductorstocomplywiththenationalelectricalstandards.This 
 disconnectmustbereadilyaccessibleandvisibletothespapooloccupantbutinstalledatleast
1.5m from the spa pool’s water.
6. WARNING:
Toreducetheriskofinjury:
 a)Watertemperaturebetween38°Cand42°Cisconsideredsafeforahealthyadult.Lowerwater
 temperaturesarerecommendedforyoungchildrenandwhenthespapooluseexceeds10minutes.
 b)Sinceexcessivewatertemperatureshaveahighpotentialforcausingfetaldamageduring 
 earlymonthsofpregnancy,pregnantwomenshouldlimitspapooluseandwatertemperaturesto
 nomorethan38°C.
 c)Donotusealcohol,drugs,ormedicationbeforeorduringspapoolusage.
 d)Personswithahistoryofheartdisease,loworhighbloodpressure,    
 circulatorysystemproblems,ordiabetesshouldconsultaphysicianbeforeusingaspapool.
 e)Personsusingmedicationshouldconsultaphysicianbeforeusingthespapoolassome
 medicationmayinducedrowsiness,whileothermedicationmayaffectheartrate,bloodpressure,
 andcirculation.
7. WARNING:
 Topreventelectrocution,donotmodifyorconnectanyadditionalauxiliarycomponents(for
 examplecable,speakers,headphones,additionalaudio/videocomponents,etc)tothesystem.

12. Donotbringanyobjectintothespapoolthatcoulddamagethespapoolshell.
13. Never insert any object into any opening.
14. WARNING:
Do not sit on the spa pool cover or place objects on it.
15. Removeanywaterordebristhatmaycollectonthespapoolcover.

Donotusethespapoolimmediatelyafterstrenuousexercise.
17. Ifyoufeelpainordizzinessatanytimewhileusingthespapool,discontinueuseandcontactaphysician.
18. WARNING:
 Observereasonabletimelimitswhenusingthespapool.Longexposuresathightemperaturescan
 causehighbodytemperatures.Symptomsmayincludedizziness,nausea,fainting,drowsiness,
 andreducedawareness.Theseeffectscouldpossiblyresultindrowningorhypothermia.
19. WARNING:
Thespapool’sjetsproduceastreamofwaterwithrelativelyhighpressure.Prolongedexposureto
 localisedareasofthebodymaycausebruisestotheskin.

DO ensurethespapoolcoverisplacedonthespapoolandlockedwhennotinuse.

DO drainandrellyourspapoolatleastevery3-4monthsormorefrequentlyif
required.
DO ensureatleast4hoursofltrationisperformedbythespapooleachday(this
issetasadefault:2hours,twiceperday).
DO ensurethespapoolcoverisopenedeveryfewdaysforafewminutes(if
unused)toavoidbuildupofgasunderthecover.

Choosing the Best Position
Whenchoosingwheretopositionyourspapool,therstthingyoushouldconsider
iswhatisgoingbeneathit.Yourspapoolisveryheavy,weighinganythingbetween
1000kgand2500kgwhenlled.Itisthereforeveryimportantyouchoosean
adequatefoundationthatisstrongandleveltoensurethereisnoshiftingorstrain
on the spa pool shell or framing.
Thebasewerecommendyouuseiseitheraminimum100mmthickconcretepad,
orareinforceddeck.Ifyouchooseadeckasabase,pleasecheckthatitcomplies
withallNZ/AUSbuildingstandardsandthatitsmaxloadratingwilladequately
withstandyourspapool’sweight,plusthetotalbatherloadweight.
Check Drainage
Youneedtobesuretheareainwhichthespapoolisplacedhasenoughdrainage
capacitytohandletheentirewatercontentofthespapool.Intheeventofspillage,
areasaroundthespapoolmaybecomewet;therefore,allooring,furniture,walls
andadjacentstructuresshouldbemoisture-resistant.
Check Service Access
Itisimportanttoconsidertheaccesstothecabinetsurroundingthespapool.In
theunlikelyeventofaleakorissuewithcomponents,aserviceagentmayrequire
accesstoaparticularcabinet.Weadviseleavinga600mmperimeterofspace
aroundtheentirespapool,otherwisethespapoolmayneedtobemovedbythe
customerintoapositionsuitableforatechnicianatthetimeofservice.
Access to all cabinets is the responsibility of the owner.

Filluntilthewaterlinemeetsthe
minimumwaterlevelrequiredas
indicatedbythestickeronthe
skimmerlid.Usuallyaninchbelow
theheadrests.

boardandappropriateResidualCurrentDevice&Isolationswitch.
Anelectricianisrequiredtosetup,provideandconnecttheappropriatewiringand
equipment.Tolocatethesystemcontroller,seeyourspapool’scorresponding
techinfo/wiringpage(usingthetableabove).

Thecableshouldbefedthroughthecabinetwall.Acablegrommetissuppliedin
theiPackshouldyouwishtousethisandadrillwitha60mmhole-sawattachment
willprovidetherightsizeforthegrommet.Alternatively,atightertcanbe
achievedwithoutthegrommetbyjustusingadrillbitthesamesizeasthecable
diameteranddrillingthroughthecabinetwall.

5. STARTUP & REFILL PROCEDURE
Setting Up a 32A or 45A Model and Matching the Circuit Breaker.
To Change the C.LMT:
TheSV3controllercontainsmainscurrentmeasurementhardwarethatallows
thecontrollertomonitortheRMScurrentdraw.Thecurrentsensinghardware
isonlyinstalledonPhase1.Phases2and3canalsobemonitorediftheyare
wiredtoterminal“CS”ofthemainsterminalblock(refertoSVinstallmanual).
Currentmeasurementisusedforvariableelementoperation.Thepurposeisto
automaticallyadjustheaterpowerleveltomatchtheresidualcurrentavailable
whenaccessorydevices(iepumps)areoperating.
TheOEMmenuitemC.LMT(currentlimit)shouldbesettomatchtheratingof
thecircuitbreakerthatfeedsthespapool.InmultiphaseinstallationstheC.LMT
shouldbesettomatchthecurrentlimitofPhase1.TheSVcontrollerwillshut
downandlatchfaultcode(Er10-overcurrent)iftheSVcontrollerdetectsamains
currentabove110%ofC.LMT.
Thedefaultcurrentlimit(C.LMT)onlyneedstobeprogrammedonceattimeof
installationtomatchtheratingofthecircuitbreakerthatfeedsthespapool.
ThedefaultvaluefortheSV3Controllerispre-setat32A.
Filter(s)arefoundinsidethespapoolbutarenotpre-installed.TheNaturePure
systemconsistsoftheMicrobanlter,coupledwithoneNature2Mineralstick
(suppliedseperately).Followthesestepswheninstallingthelter.

Pressthe  button,scrolldownusingthe  buttonandthenselectADV.
Enter the following PIN 14863andthenpressENTER. Locate CLMT(Current
Limit),youmayneedtoscrolldown,andthenadjustthelimittomatchtheratingof
thecircuitbreakerthatfeedsthespapool.Pressthe  buttontoconrm.

centreoftheltercartridge,
extensiontuberst.
Insidetheskimmerbox,seethe
circularholdingpiecethatthe
ltercartridgewillsitover.
Replacethetoplidbygently
puttingdownwardspressurewhile
turningclockwise,untilitsnaps
backintoplace.

SWITCHING ON & HEATING UP
5. STARTUP & REFILL PROCEDURE
Automatic Startup Procedure
Uponactivatingpower,thespapool’stopsidecontrolpanelshouldlightupandthe
screenwilldisplayaseriesofspecicsequencesandnumbers.
Ifthescreenisblankwhenyoupoweron,switchoff/onagain.
Priming
Thespapoolwillentera‘primingmode’wheneveritisrstinitiatedorrestarted.
Thisisstartupfunctionwhichwillrunthecirculationpumptoclearanyairinthe
plumbingfor20secondsatatime.
Thetopsidecontrolpanelwilldisplay“PRIMING”orsimilartoindicatethepriming
modestate.
Checkthatthecirculationpumphasengagedbyvisuallysightingmoving/rippling
waterinsidespapool.Watermayowfromthewaterfall(ifopenandequipped).
Iftheprimingfunctionfails,anerrormessage(likelytobeER3-WaterPrime)will
displayonthetopsidecontrolpanel-checkthetroubleshootingguideattheback
ofthismanualforassistance.
HEAT-UP PROCESS
Automatic Heating
Afterpriminghasnished,thespapoolisautomaticallyconguredtobegin
heating to 38OC.Thecirculationpumpwillengageandthespapoolwillbegin
lteringandheatingupautomatically.
Note:Adefaultsnoozetimerisinplacewhichdisablesfunctions(including
heating)between22:00–07:00.Thiswillslowinitialheatuptimeifnot
temporarilydisabled.Youmustsetthetime(clock)onthetopsidecontrolpanel
andthendisablethesnoozetimertoallowforafastrsttimeheat-up.

Placeyourspapoolcoverontopofthespapoolandlockitdownbyinstallingthe
clipswiththescrews.ScrewsandkeyscanbefoundintheiPack.

BALANCING & SANITISING THE WATER
Just like a car, your spa pool needs care and general maintenance to keep it looking good
and running smoothly. Anintegralpartofthismaintenanceismanagingthewaterquality.
To ensure your spa pool is ready to be used at all times, the water needs to be sanitised
and balanced to keep it clean and fresh.
You may have received a Water Care Startup Kit with your spa pool (please purchase
one if you have not). Follow the ‘WaterCareHandbook’ found in your kit or download a
copy from our support page link at the bottom of this page.
Follow the water care startup procedure found in the Water Care Handbook to setup the
water for use.

1. LIGHT SENSOR
The SmartTouch is equipped with a light
sensor to automatically adjust the bright-
ness of the LCD.
6. LIGHT BUTTON
The light button is used to toggle the spa
light(s) ON / OFF and to access the light
mode adjustments.
11. DECREASE SET TEMP
Press this button to decrease the set
temperature.
2. WATER TEMP
This displays the current water temperature
of your spa pools water. Filtration is re-
quired for the sensor to show an accurate
reading.
7. CLEAN/SANITISE CYCLE
Pressoncetoactivatea20minutesanitisa-
tion&cleanupcycletorefreshwaterquality
afterspause.Asecondpresswillcancelthe
cycleifalreadyrunning.
12. SETTINGS
The SmartTouch features a settings menu
which allows customisation of adjustable
software settings.
3. TIME, DAY & DATE
Displays the current time and date. Be sure
to set this correctly on start-up.
8. INVERT/FLIP SCREEN
The orientation of the touch pad display can
be inverted (ipped 180o) for easier
operation in and out of the spa pool.
13. CURRENT ACTIVITY
This will display the current activity of the
spa pools operations, eg Heating, Filtering,
Mixing, Sanitise Cycle ...
5. AIR BLOWER
No blower equipped however button may
be used to access certain setup menus.
10. SET TEMP
This displays your desired set temperature
of your spa. Default is 38oC and can be
adjusted using the increase (9) and decrease
buttons (11).
4. PUMPS (A, B, C, D)
Press to toggle equipped pumps on & o
(some models may only have two pumps).
9. INCREASE SET TEMP
Press this button to increase the set
temperature.
14. STATUS INDICATORS
AUTO will turn on whenever the ltration
pump is in automatic mode.
HEAT will turn on when the heater or heat
pump (if tted) is operating.
O3/UV will turn on to indicate that the
Ozone or UV puriers are operating.
FILT will turn on when the spa is in a
ltration cycle
SLEEP will turn on to indicate when the
controller is in sleep mode.

Water Temperature
Shows the current water temperature.
Set Temperature
Shows the set water temperature.
Time & Date
Shows the current set time. It's important that
this time is set correctly.
Current Activity Scroll
Shows the current activity of the
spa pools operation.
Post Heat-up
Oncethedefault38°Cisreachedthecirculationpumpwillstopoperatingandwill
onlyre-engageifthespapoollosestemperature,altercyclehasbegunorthe
systemispollingautomaticallytochecktemperature.
Changing the Temperature
Pressingorholdingthetemperature'increase'ordecrease'buttonswilladjustthe
settemperatureinthedirectionindicatedonthebuttoninincrementsof0.2°C.
Whenthedisplaystopsashing,thespapoolwill
beginheatingtothenewsettemperature(thespa
poolcannotcoolthewater).Thespapoolisalready
pre-setto38°C. IncreaseDecrease
