bychildren.

Riskofinjury.Neveroperatethespapoolifsuctionttingsarebrokenormissing.

within1.5mofaspapoolunlesssuchappliancesareinstalledandbuilt-inbythemanufacturer.
5. ELECTRICAL SUPPLY:
Theelectricalsupplyforthisproductmustincludeasuitablyratedswitch&RCDto
openallungroundedsupplyconductorstocomplywiththenationalelectricalstandards.This
disconnectmustbereadilyaccessibleandvisibletothespapooloccupantbutinstalledatleast
1.5m from the spa pool’s water.
6. WARNING:
Toreducetheriskofinjury:
a)Watertemperaturebetween38°Cand42°Cisconsideredsafeforahealthyadult.Lowerwater
temperaturesarerecommendedforyoungchildrenandwhenthespapooluseexceeds10minutes.
b)Sinceexcessivewatertemperatureshaveahighpotentialforcausingfetaldamageduring
earlymonthsofpregnancy,pregnantwomenshouldlimitspapooluseandwatertemperaturesto
nomorethan38°C.
c)Donotusealcohol,drugs,ormedicationbeforeorduringspapoolusage.
d)Personswithahistoryofheartdisease,loworhighbloodpressure,
circulatorysystemproblems,ordiabetesshouldconsultaphysicianbeforeusingaspapool.
e)Personsusingmedicationshouldconsultaphysicianbeforeusingthespapoolassome
medicationmayinducedrowsiness,whileothermedicationmayaffectheartrate,bloodpressure,
andcirculation.
7. WARNING:
Topreventelectrocution,donotmodifyorconnectanyadditionalauxiliarycomponents(for

Do not sit on the spa pool cover or place objects on it.

17. Ifyoufeelpainordizzinessatanytimewhileusingthespapool,discontinueuseandcontactaphysician.

Observereasonabletimelimitswhenusingthespapool.Longexposuresathightemperaturescan
causehighbodytemperatures.Symptomsmayincludedizziness,nausea,fainting,drowsiness,

Choosing the Best Position
Whenchoosingwheretopositionyourspapool,therstthingyoushouldconsider
iswhatisgoingbeneathit.Yourspapoolisveryheavy,weighinganythingbetween
1000kgand2500kgwhenlled.Itisthereforeveryimportantyouchoosean
adequatefoundationthatisstrongandleveltoensurethereisnoshiftingorstrain
on the spa pool shell or framing.
Thebasewerecommendyouuseiseitheraminimum100mmthickconcretepad,
orareinforceddeck.Ifyouchooseadeckasabase,pleasecheckthatitcomplies
withallNZ/AUSbuildingstandardsandthatitsmaxloadratingwilladequately
withstandyourspapool’sweight,plusthetotalbatherloadweight.
Check Drainage
Youneedtobesuretheareainwhichthespapoolisplacedhasenoughdrainage
capacitytohandletheentirewatercontentofthespapool.Intheeventofspillage,
areasaroundthespapoolmaybecomewet;therefore,allooring,furniture,walls
andadjacentstructuresshouldbemoisture-resistant.
Check Service Access
Itisimportanttoconsidertheaccesstothecabinetsurroundingthespapool.In
theunlikelyeventofaleakorissuewithcomponents,aserviceagentmayrequire
accesstoaparticularcabinet.Weadviseleavinga600mmperimeterofspace
aroundtheentirespapool,otherwisethespapoolmayneedtobemovedbythe
customerintoapositionsuitableforatechnicianatthetimeofservice.
Access to all cabinets is the responsibility of the owner.

minimumwaterlevelrequiredas

skimmerlid.Usuallyaninchbelow
theheadrests.

techinfo/wiringpage(usingthetableabove).

Thecableshouldbefedthroughthecabinetwall.Acablegrommetissuppliedin
theiPackshouldyouwishtousethisandadrillwitha60mmhole-sawattachment
willprovidetherightsizeforthegrommet.Alternatively,atightertcanbe
achievedwithoutthegrommetbyjustusingadrillbitthesamesizeasthecable
diameteranddrillingthroughthecabinetwall.

5. STARTUP & REFILL PROCEDURE
Setting Up a 32A or 45A Model and Matching the Circuit Breaker.
To Change the C.LMT:
TheSV3controllercontainsmainscurrentmeasurementhardwarethatallows
thecontrollertomonitortheRMScurrentdraw.Thecurrentsensinghardware
isonlyinstalledonPhase1.Phases2and3canalsobemonitorediftheyare
wiredtoterminal“CS”ofthemainsterminalblock(refertoSVinstallmanual).
Currentmeasurementisusedforvariableelementoperation.Thepurposeisto
automaticallyadjustheaterpowerleveltomatchtheresidualcurrentavailable
whenaccessorydevices(iepumps)areoperating.
TheOEMmenuitemC.LMT(currentlimit)shouldbesettomatchtheratingof
thecircuitbreakerthatfeedsthespapool.InmultiphaseinstallationstheC.LMT
shouldbesettomatchthecurrentlimitofPhase1.TheSVcontrollerwillshut
downandlatchfaultcode(Er10-overcurrent)iftheSVcontrollerdetectsamains
currentabove110%ofC.LMT.
Thedefaultcurrentlimit(C.LMT)onlyneedstobeprogrammedonceattimeof
installationtomatchtheratingofthecircuitbreakerthatfeedsthespapool.
ThedefaultvaluefortheSV3Controllerispre-setat32A.
Filter(s)arefoundinsidethespapoolbutarenotpre-installed.TheNaturePure
systemconsistsoftheMicrobanlter,coupledwithoneNature2Mineralstick
(suppliedseperately).Followthesestepswheninstallingthelter.

Pressthe button,scrolldownusingthe buttonandthenselectADV.
Enter the following PIN 14863andthenpressENTER. Locate CLMT(Current
Limit),youmayneedtoscrolldown,andthenadjustthelimittomatchtheratingof
thecircuitbreakerthatfeedsthespapool.Pressthe buttontoconrm.

Insidetheskimmerbox,seethe
circularholdingpiecethatthe
ltercartridgewillsitover.
Replacethetoplidbygently
puttingdownwardspressurewhile
turningclockwise,untilitsnaps
backintoplace.

5. STARTUP & REFILL PROCEDURE
Automatic Startup Procedure
Uponactivatingpower,thespapool’stopsidecontrolpanelshouldlightupandthe
screenwilldisplayaseriesofspecicsequencesandnumbers.
Ifthescreenisblankwhenyoupoweron,switchoff/onagain.
Priming
Thespapoolwillentera‘primingmode’wheneveritisrstinitiatedorrestarted.
Thisisstartupfunctionwhichwillrunthecirculationpumptoclearanyairinthe
plumbingfor20secondsatatime.
Thetopsidecontrolpanelwilldisplay“PRIMING”orsimilartoindicatethepriming
modestate.
Checkthatthecirculationpumphasengagedbyvisuallysightingmoving/rippling
waterinsidespapool.Watermayowfromthewaterfall(ifopenandequipped).
Iftheprimingfunctionfails,anerrormessage(likelytobeER3-WaterPrime)will
displayonthetopsidecontrolpanel-checkthetroubleshootingguideattheback
ofthismanualforassistance.
HEAT-UP PROCESS
Automatic Heating
Afterpriminghasnished,thespapoolisautomaticallyconguredtobegin
heating to 38OC.Thecirculationpumpwillengageandthespapoolwillbegin
lteringandheatingupautomatically.
Note:Adefaultsnoozetimerisinplacewhichdisablesfunctions(including
heating)between22:00–07:00.Thiswillslowinitialheatuptimeifnot
temporarilydisabled.Youmustsetthetime(clock)onthetopsidecontrolpanel
andthendisablethesnoozetimertoallowforafastrsttimeheat-up.

Installing the Cover
Placeyourspapoolcoverontopofthespapoolandlockitdownbyinstallingthe
clipswiththescrews.ScrewsandkeyscanbefoundintheiPack.
Heat Up Time
Dependingonenvironment,itcantakeupto12-18hourstoheatthespapoolto
thedefault38OC(orlongerifsnoozetimerwasnottemporarilydisabled).

To ensure your spa pool is ready to be used at all times, the water needs to be sanitised
and balanced to keep it clean and fresh.
You may have received a Water Care Startup Kit with your spa pool (please purchase
one if you have not). Follow the ‘WaterCareHandbook’ found in your kit or download a
copy from our support page link at the bottom of this page.
Follow the water care startup procedure found in the Water Care Handbook to setup the
water for use.

1. LIGHT SENSOR
The SmartTouch is equipped with a light
sensor to automatically adjust the bright-
ness of the LCD.
6. LIGHT BUTTON
The light button is used to toggle the spa
light(s) ON / OFF and to access the light
mode adjustments.
11. DECREASE SET TEMP
Press this button to decrease the set
temperature.
2. WATER TEMP
This displays the current water temperature
of your spa pools water. Filtration is re-
quired for the sensor to show an accurate
reading.
7. CLEAN/SANITISE CYCLE
Pressoncetoactivatea20minutesanitisa-
tion&cleanupcycletorefreshwaterquality
afterspause.Asecondpresswillcancelthe
cycleifalreadyrunning.
12. SETTINGS
The SmartTouch features a settings menu
which allows customisation of adjustable
software settings.
3. TIME, DAY & DATE
Displays the current time and date. Be sure
to set this correctly on start-up.
8. INVERT/FLIP SCREEN
The orientation of the touch pad display can
be inverted (ipped 180o) for easier
operation in and out of the spa pool.
13. CURRENT ACTIVITY
This will display the current activity of the
spa pools operations, eg Heating, Filtering,
Mixing, Sanitise Cycle ...
5. AIR BLOWER
No blower equipped however button may
be used to access certain setup menus.
10. SET TEMP
This displays your desired set temperature
of your spa. Default is 38oC and can be
adjusted using the increase (9) and decrease
buttons (11).
4. PUMPS (A, B, C, D)
Press to toggle equipped pumps on & o
(some models may only have two pumps).
9. INCREASE SET TEMP
Press this button to increase the set
temperature.
14. STATUS INDICATORS
AUTO will turn on whenever the ltration
pump is in automatic mode.
HEAT will turn on when the heater or heat
pump (if tted) is operating.
O3/UV will turn on to indicate that the
Ozone or UV puriers are operating.
FILT will turn on when the spa is in a
ltration cycle
SLEEP will turn on to indicate when the
controller is in sleep mode.

Understanding the Display (Topside Control Panel)

Water Temperature
Shows the current water temperature.
Set Temperature
Shows the set water temperature.
Time & Date
Shows the current set time. It's important that
this time is set correctly.
Current Activity Scroll
Shows the current activity of the
spa pools operation.
Post Heat-up
Oncethedefault38°Cisreachedthecirculationpumpwillstopoperatingandwill
onlyre-engageifthespapoollosestemperature,altercyclehasbegunorthe
systemispollingautomaticallytochecktemperature.
Changing the Temperature
Pressingorholdingthetemperature'increase'ordecrease'buttonswilladjustthe
settemperatureinthedirectionindicatedonthebuttoninincrementsof0.2°C.
Whenthedisplaystopsashing,thespapoolwill
beginheatingtothenewsettemperature(thespa
poolcannotcoolthewater).Thespapoolisalready
pre-setto38°C. IncreaseDecrease
