5.2 Intermediate (favourite) limit position
Any position of the curtain between the upper and lower limit positions can be set as an intermediate limit position.
•Using the “▲”/“▼”and “■”keys, set the roller shutter curtain in the position to be memorized.
•Press the “P2” key, then press “■”and then press “■”again and hold it for 5 seconds. Each key press will be followed by
a short beep sound, the last press will be followed by 3 short beep sounds, and the motor will make 3 short reverse
movements.
5.3 Deleting all limit positions
All limit positions are deleted simultaneously.
•Press “P2” key, then press “▼”key and then press “P2” key again. Each key press will be followed by a short beep
sound, and the last key press will be followed by 3 short beep sounds, and the motor will make one short reverse
movement.
5.4 Reversing the direction of rotation of the electric motor
Reversing the direction of rotation of the electric motor is only possible with non-configured or remote limit positions.
When using the AT-1, AT-15, AT-1S, AT15S, AT5/RT, AT5S/RT remote controls:
•If, after programming the remote control, the roller shutter movement direction does not correspond to the required
one (pressing the “▲” key lowers the roller shutter), then simultaneously press and hold the “▲” and “▼” keys for 3
seconds. After that, 3 short beeps will sound, and the electric motor will make a short reverse movement.
When using АТ-4N remote controls:
•If, after programming the remote control, the direction of the roller shutter does not correspond to the required
direction (pressing the “▲”key lowers the roller shutter), then delete the remote control from the memory of the electric
motor (see section 4.4) and re-program it, but during programming press the “▼”key instead of the “▲”key (see section
4.1). In this case, the limit positions must be removed in advance, see section 5.3.
6. ZIGBEE AND OTHER EXTERNAL MODULES
It is possible to connect Zigbee and other ALUTECH modules to the electric motor connector, expanding the possibilities
of controlling the roller shutter system using mobile and voice interfaces. See alutech-group.com for details.
Make sure to use compatible ALUTECH devices. Connect the corresponding connectors of the module and the motor
tightly. Make sure the connection is tight. After connecting the module connector, press the “O” button on the head of the
tubular motor for 3 seconds, until the second beep, to activate the power supply of the module. Upon activation, you will
hear a double beep and the module indicator will be flashing green slowly. Follow the instructions in the Operation
Manual for the module.
After connecting the module connector, press the key “O“ on the head of the tubular electric motor for 3 seconds to
activate the module power supply. After activation, the module indicator flashes slowly green.
6.1 Adding a motor with an external module to the Alutech Smart app
Prepare the mobile application for adding according to the Operation Manual to the external module.
•Press successively the key of the remote control “P2”, then the “▲” key and the “▼” key. After each press, a short beep
will sound, after the last press a short beep will sound. The module indicator blinks red. Then follow the instructions in the
app.
6.2 Engaging the wires of the external module for control with the switch (deactivated by default).
The option is designed to control a two-key impulse wired switch connected to the module. If you do not use a switch, you
can shorten the wires by isolating the rest of the wire separately and excluding it from getting into the rotating parts of the
roller shutter.
