• The use of mul-viscosity oils in hot condions can
result in higher than normal oil consumpon. Check oil
more oen when operang in these condions.
• Do not mix oils of different brands or specificaons.
• Below 5°C, use of SAE30 oil can result in engine
damage or hard starng due to inadequate
lubricaon.
4.2 CHECKING /ADDING OIL
• Ensure the engine is level.
• Clean and remove any debris from around oil filler cap
and dipsck.
• Unscrew oil filler cap and dipsck, wipe with a clean
cloth.

AND GRASS CAN CATCH FIRE.
7

NOTE
• Remove accumulated debris from muffler area.
• Use a so brush remove built up debris from the
finger guard/rotang screen.
This is an air cooled engine, it is important to regularly
clean the cooling system as a build up of dirt and
debris can lead to poor airflow, overheang and
damage to the engine.
Never use water to clean the engine as this could lead
to water contaminaon of the fuel system.
5.6 STORAGE
Fuel can become stale if stored for more than 30 days, it
is recommended that the fuel system be drained for
storage periods longer than 30 days.
A service by a PowerBOSS Authorised Dealer is
