BEFORE FIRST USE:
• Aer unpacking the appliance, ensure that all the aachments
are included and there are no visible signs of damage.
• Before rst use, wash all parts that come in contact with the
coee in hot water.
• Before brewing coee for the rst me, ll the container with
water. Following the procedure for coee making, turn o the
coee making funcon but do not put ground coee into a
suitable container. The appliance will be ushed and cleaned.
Repeat this acon for milk frothing / heang
USE:
1. Place the body of the appliance on a solid and level surface.
2. Remove the water tank cap (Fig. 1, item 1) and ll the tank with
240 ml of water.
3. Secure with the water tank with a cap.
MAKE COFFEE:
1. Follow all steps in the USE secon.
2. Place the strainer (g. 1, item 13) in the lter holder (g. 1,
item 3). Using the coee scoop/rammer (g. 1, item 12), pour
the coee into the strainer placed in the holder. Use the coee
scoop/rammer (Fig. 1, item 12) to ram and compress coee.
3. Place the holder with the strainer lled with coee in the cof-
fee maker head. To ensure a proper posion of the lter holder,
turn the holder to the le, put it in the head, then turn it to the
right so that the lter holder securely ts in the head.
4. Put the coee pot on the base and set the funcon control
knob to coee making posion (g. 1, item 7), red indicator
light will light up to indicate the start of water heang (g. 1,
item 8).
5. Aer approximately 2 minutes coee will start to ow out the
lter. When you make enough coee, turn the control knob
to posion (Fig.1, item 9) to stop the operaon, the
indicator light is o. The coee is ready, take the coee pot o
the base.
6. Aer approximately 5 minutes, gently turn the control knob to
posion to release steam from the coee maker, at this
point steam should not be so heavy and hot. When releasing
steam from the system take all the necessary precauons.
Note!
• Do not leave the appliance unaended when in operaon, also
take all precauons aer seng the control knob in posion
,this funcon releases hot steam from the system via
frother nozzle.
• When nished, do not remove the water tank cap as pressure
and high temperature of steam inside the water container may
cause scalding, release steam by turning the funcon knob to
the posion before relling the water tank.
• The lter holder features a movable part, which has a lock func-
on. Each me you remove the lter holder, li the lock and
hold it with your thumb. This will prevent the lter from falling
out. Be very careful because the chrome part of the holder is
very hot.
7. Remove the lter holder from the head by turning it to the le
while holding the body of the appliance with your other hand.
8. Carefully remove the strainer from the holder. To do this, re-
lease the strainer lock on the holder and then ip the holder
over so that the strainer can fall out.
9. To make another batch of coee, repeat all the steps in the
“Use” and “Make coee” secon, taking all necessary precau-
ons.
Note!
• The chrome-plated part of the holder, lter, and the head are
hot when brewing coee - do NOT touch these parts. Hold the
lter holder by the handle.
• Make sure that the lter holder is properly secured in the head,
this will prevent the lter holder become loose from vibraons.
• Monitor the liquid level in the drip tray so that it does not spill.
MILK FROTHING FUNCTION:
Frother wand is designed for easy milk heang and frothing, which
you could use to prepare cappuccino.
1. When you complete all steps set out in the “use” secon, set
the funcon control knob to frothing posion (Fig. 1, item
11). Red indicator light will light up to indicate the start of
water heang (Fig. 1, item 8).
Note!
• When heang has started, water may condensate and drip
from the nozzle - then it is best to put a dierent container into
which water will drip, and only when steam starts to come out,
put a cup with milk.
2. Tilt the frother nozzle to facilitate placing the nozzle in the cup.
3. Fill the cup halfway with cold milk.
4. Aer approximately 2 minutes, steam will be released from the
frother nozzle (connuous ow).
5. Hold a lted cup with milk so that the frother nozzle was
immersed in the milk.
6. Connue frothing milk for approximately 1 minute while
making circular movements so that the frother nozzle comes
in and out from the milk. When you make enough froth, turn
the control knob to posion (Fig.1, item 9) to stop the
operaon, the indicator light is o. Froth milk is ready.
7. Aer approximately 5 minutes, gently turn the control knob to
posion to release steam from the coee maker, at this
point steam should not be so heavy and hot. When releasing
steam from the system take all the necessary precauons.
Note!
• Appliances with hot parts should not be le unaended as
those elements may burn or scald, wait unl the appliance
cools.
• When nished, do not remove the water tank cap, pressure
and high temperature of steam inside the boiler may cause
burns, release steam by turning the funcon knob to posion
before relling the water tank.
PREPARE CAPPUCCINO:
1. Froth milk as described above, then wait approximately 1
minute unl froth has reached an appropriate density.
2. Put the cup with frothed milk under the head and prepare
coee as described in secon “coee making”.
Note!
• Hot steam is released from the nozzle. Take all necessary
precauons to avoid burns.
• To prevent damage to the appliance, aer each frothing or
coee making session, pour an appropriate amount of clean
water into the container, as described in the “Before rst use”
secon.
• To prevent scalding by hot steam, it is recommended that aer
each use, you slowly turn the control knob to the o posion
to release steam from the coee maker.
• For a beer visual eect, it is recommended to use a transpar-
ent cup so that you can see the layers of froth and coee.
CLEANING AND CARE:
1. Before cleaning, make sure the appliance is disconnected from
the power source and completely cold.
2. Do not use harsh detergents to clean the appliance or its
accessories.
3. Do not put the body of the appliance in any liquid, wipe it with
a damp cloth dry with a towel.
4. Clean the frother nozzle aer each frothing or heang of milk.
Aer each frothing or heang of milk, put the nozzle in hot
water and run frothing cycle. Aer this, wipe the nozzle with a
dry cloth. You can also remove the rubber nozzle aachment
and wash it separately with mild detergent, then rinse and dry,
then reaach.
CLEAN THE STRAINER IN THE BREWING HEAD
Clean the strainer in the head every 75 cups of espresso.
1. Unplug the appliance from the power outlet and wait unl
completely cold.
2. Use your own screwdriver to remove two screws on the strain-
er in the brewing head.
3. Wash the strainer in warm water with a detergent.
4. Dry thoroughly aer washing.
5. Put a clean and dry strainer in place and ghten with screws.
CLEAN THE FILTER:
Clean the lter in the holder aer each use.
1. Wait unl it cools down before washing.
2. Wash the lter in warm water.
3. Thoroughly dry the lter aer washing.
