Operation Instructions
Assembling the unit
Note: Ensure that the unit is not connected to the charger before assembling
the handle.
1. Take out the unit and brush.
2. Straighten the handle.
3. Press the round button on brush and push the brush firmly into position
Charging Your Vacuum Cleaner
NOTE: The handy vacuum and floor brush will not operate when charging on
the charging stand.
1. Place the unit/handy vacuum near an electrical power outlet and plug in
the charger.
2. Connect the charger to the charging hole. The charging indicator light
will shine red to indicate that the vacuumcleaner is property connected
to the charger and that the unit is being charged.
Assembly of Dust Cup
Note: Ensure that the unit is not connected to the charger before cleaning
the dust cup(container).
1. Take out of the handy vacuum from vacuum housing, push the dust cup
release button and remove the dust cup container.
2. Verify that the dust cup filter is inside, then re-attach the dust cup
(container) to the handy vacuum.
Detaching the handy vacuum from the vacuum housing
Note: Ensure that the unit is not connected to the charger before cleaning
the dust cup.
1. To remove handy vacuum from the vacuum housing, depress the handy
vacuum release button.
2. Grasp the handle of handy vacuum and pull out.
3. To replace the handy vacuum into the vacuum housing, place the
bottom of the handy vacuum into the vacuum housing first, then tilt
towards the handy vacuum until you hear handy vacuum click into place.

Using the Vacuum
NOTE: The floor brush will not function without the handy vacuum in place
and fully charged.
The vacuum is great for cleaning stairs making an awkward chore a breeze.
1. Ensure that the handy vacuum is in position on vacuum housing
2. Depress the power on/off switch on handle.
Using the Crevice Tool
The crevice tool can be used directly on the handy vacuum.
Changing & Cleaning the Dust Cup Filter
To achieve the best performance, empty the dust cup container and clean
the dust cup filter after each use.
1. Remove the handy vacuum from the vacuum housing.
2. To remove the dust cup container, press down on the dust cup release
button and pull off the dust cup(container).
3. Pull out the dust cup filter.
4. Empty the dust from the dust cup(container).
5. Rinse the dust cup filter in cold water, and then wait until it dries
completely before replacing it back into the dust cup container. Do Not
use a washing machine to clean the dust cup filter. Do not use a hair
dryer to dry it. Air Dry only.
6. Replace the dust cup filter carefully into the dust cup(container). NEVER
operate vacuum cleaner without dust cup filter in place.
7. Attach the dust cup container to the handy vacuum.
CAUTION: The suction hole must be open and free of any obstructions at all
times. Otherwise, the motor will overheat and could become damaged.
NOTE: It is recommended that the dust cup filter be replaced every three (3)
to six (6) months depending on usage to ensure peak performance of the
unit

Please Note
The dust cup filter is washable. It should, however, be replaced every three(3)
to six(6) months depending on usage, to ensure peak performance of your
vacuum.
Important
Make sure that dust cup filter has completely air dried before reinstalling back
in the handy vacuum.
Warning
Please remove the handy vacuum from the unit before cleaning the power
brush.

Congratulations! We wish you a long and happy association with Amstrad.
We would like you to know your privileges with respect to your Vacuum
Cleaner
You are entitled to:
1. Repair or replacement of any parts other than plastic parts free of
charge, for a period of 12 months from date of Invoice / Bill.
2. The defective part(s) shall be replaced with functionally working
equivalent part(s). The removed part(s) will be OVOT PVT LTD’s
property.
3. There privileges are available to the original purchaser only.
4. In an event when the Vacuum Cleaner requires attention at the compa-
ny’s service center / authorized dealer, the purchaser should arrange to
deliver the Vacuum Cleaner to the authorized service center at this cost
under supervision of company’s service engineer.
5. The privileges mentioned above, are for repair and replacement of
defective parts only, and does not cover any consequential damages or
loss or replacement of the Vacuum Cleaner itself or a refund.
6. If required, replacement of machine will be at the sole discretion of the
company. Company reserves the right to replace with an equivalent
model, if the same model is not available.

WARRANTY TERMS AND CONDITIONS
The warranty stands void in case of the following conditions:
a. The Vacuum Cleaner has been damaged due to misuse, negligence,
accident, improper installation and improper electrical circuit outside
the machine, any defective electric supply, pests or any external
agency. Company’s decision will be final in this regard.
b. The Vacuum Cleaner is damaged in transit whether carried by the
company’s transport or by the purchaser himself.
c. The Vacuum Cleaner is tampered with, serviced or repaired by any
agency not specifically authorized by the company.
d. The Vacuum Cleaner is not used in accordance with the instructions
given in the User Manual given along with this machine.
e. The company shall not be liable for any dealer expenses, if any, in
carrying out the terms of this warranty.
f. The company shall not be liable for any delay in rectifying the Vacuum
Cleaner, in the event of non-availability of parts or situations beyond
the control of the company. The company will not be responsible for
any losses direct or indirect in this regard.
g. This warranty is not applicable if the Vacuum Cleaner is put to any
commercial use or used at places like hospitals, institutions, community
halls, hostels and other similar applications.
h. The employees, dealers and service personnel of OVOT PVT LTD have
no authority to change the terms of this warranty.
i. This warranty issued is subject to the jurisdiction of the Civil Court of
Pune.
j. The company, OVOT PVT LTD assures warranty 12 months from the
date of invoice / bill.
