ALLGEMEINE HINWEISE
Achten Sie beim Auspacken besonders darauf,
dass die Steinverkleidungen unversehrt bleiben. Es
entstehen leicht Kratzer am Material. Natursteine
sind von der Garantie ausgenommen.
Tipp: Das Holz der Verpackung ist nicht oberflä-
chenbehandelt und kann daher in Ihrem Ofen ver-
brannt werden. Karton und PE-Folie können Sie
problemlos den kommunalen Abfallsammelstellen
zur Wiederverwertung zuführen.
Für den Transport Ihres Heizgerätes dürfen
nur zugelassene Transporthilfen mit ausrei-
chender Tragfähigkeit verwendet werden.
SICHERHEITS- UND WARNHINWEISE
VERBRENNEN SIE NUR GENEHMIGTES
HEIZMATERIAL!
Das Verbrennen von leicht brennbaren oder ex-
plosiven Stoffen wie z. B. leeren Spraydosen bzw.
deren Lagerung in unmittelbarer Nähe des Ofens
ist wegen Explosionsgefahr strengstens verboten.

Pelletöfen dürfen nur mit geschlossener
Feuerraumtür betrieben werden. Verwenden Sie
zum Öffnen der Türen nur die mitgelieferten Hilfs-
mittel! Außerhalb des Betriebs ist die Feuerraum-
tür geschlossen zu halten.
DIE OBERFLÄCHE DES PELLETOFENS
HEIZT SICH STARK AUF!
Durch den Abbrand von Brennmaterial wird Wär-
meenergie frei, die zu einer starken Erhitzung der
Türen, der Tür- und Bediengriffe, der Türgläser,
der Rauchrohre und gegebenenfalls der Frontwand
des Heizgerätes führt. Berührungen ohne entspre-
chende Schutzmaßnahmen sind zu unterlassen.
Warnen Sie andere, v.a. Kinder, vor dieser beson-
deren Gefahr!
VORSICHT MIT HITZEUNBESTÄNDIGEN
GEGENSTÄNDEN!
Das Abstellen von nicht hitzebeständigen Gegen-
ständen auf dem Heizgerät oder in dessen Nähe ist
verboten. Ständer zum Trocknen von Kleidungs-
stücken oder dgl. müssen wegen akuter Brandge-
fahr in ausreichendem Abstand aufgestellt wer-
den!
Bei laufendem Betrieb ist das Verarbeiten von leicht
brennbaren und explosiven Stoffen in diesem oder
einem angrenzenden Raum verboten.
NACHFÜLLUNGEN NUR BEI KALTEM
OFEN ZU EMPFEHLEN!
Zum Befüllen des Vorratsbehälters reicht die vor-
handene Öffnung aus. Achten Sie jedoch darauf,
dass keine Pellets auf die Konvektionsrippen (siehe
Skizze auf der nächsten Seite) und den heißen Ofen-
korpus fallen. Dies kann zu starker Rauchentwick-
lung führen.

ist ein Pelletofen am neuesten Stand der
Technik. Schließlich ist er das Resultat jahrelanger
Testreihen in Labor und Praxis. Zu seinen über-
zeugendsten Vorzügen zählen Bedienkomfort, Be-
triebssicherheit und emissionsarme Heizleistung.
MINIMUM AN BEDIENAUFWAND,
MAXIMUM AN BETRIEBSSICHERHEIT
Seine elektronische Überwachung samt Verbren-
nungstemperaturüberwachung steuert und kon-
trolliert das Zusammenspiel von Rauchgasgeblä-
se, Förderschnecke und Brennraumtemperatur.
Dieses Überwachungssystem garantiert einen
optimalen Verbrennungs- und Betriebszustand. Ihr
Bedienaufwand wird so auf das Notwendigste redu-
ziert. Das verhindert Bedienungsfehler bei gleich-
zeitig optimalem Betrieb.
Zur Information: Während des Betriebes hörbare,
von den Antriebsmotoren und dem Verbrennungs-
vorgang herrührende Geräusche überschreiten
nicht die für Wohnräume zulässigen Werte.

Pelletzugabe in einem optimierten Brennertopf aus
hochwertigem Grauguss bewirkt eine nahezu voll-
kommene Verbrennung mit sehr guten Abgaswer-
ten - und zwar in jeder Betriebsphase.

MONTAGE
Die Montage und
Inbetriebnahme darf
ausschließlich vom
autorisierten Fachbetrieb
durchgeführt werden.
Folgendes ist dabei
zu beachten:
MONTAGE
VERBRENNUNGSLUFTABFUHR
• Anschluss an einen für feste Brennstoffe
genehmigten Schornstein (Durchmesser
≥120 mm)
• Korrekte, luftdichte Installation des Rauchgas-
anschlusses
• Verwendung von ausschließlich hitzebeständi-
gen Dichtmaterialien
• Rauchrohr darf nicht in den freien Querschnitt
des Schornsteines hineinragen
• Keine zu langen Rauchgaswege (waagrecht
< 1,5 m)
• Wenige Richtungsänderungen des Abgasstro-
mes zum Kamin sind besser.
• Verarbeitung von maximal 3 Bögen in der Ab-
gasleitung
• Im Falle eines nicht direkten, geraden An-
schlusses an den Kamin Anschlussstück mit
Reinigungsöffnung verwenden
• Ofen mit Rauchrohr an den Schornstein an-
schließen
• Elektrischer Anschluss mittels inkludiertem,
ca. 2,5 m langem Anschlusskabel mit Euroste-
cker (ist an einen 230 Volt, 50 Hz elektrischen
Anschluss anzukuppeln), dabei Kontakt mit den
heißen bzw. scharfkantigen Außenflächen ver-
meiden
Beachten Sie die regional gültigen Bauvor-
schriften und kontaktieren Sie diesbezüglich
Ihren Schornsteinfegermeister!
FRISCHLUFTZUFUHR
Bei Öfen ohne externen Verbrennungsluftanschluss
wird die benötigte Luft dem Wohnraum entzogen.
Lüften Sie den Raum daher mehrmals täglich, um
einen Unterdruck im Raum oder eine schlechte Ver-
brennung zu vermeiden!
Öfen mit externer Verbrennungsluftzufuhr
• Stahl-, HT- oder flexible Alurohre (Durchmes-
ser ≥ 50 mm bzw. 2 Zoll)
• Bei längerer Anschlussleitung Durchmesser
nach 1 m auf 100 mm vergrößern
• Für ausreichend Luftzufuhr Leitung nicht län-
ger als ca. 4 m mit möglichst wenig Biegungen
halten
• Leitungen, die ins Freie führen, müssen mit ei-
nem Windschutz enden.
• Bei extremer Kälte auf das „Vereisen“ der Zu-
luftöffnung achten
• Sie können auch Verbrennungsluft direkt von
einem anderen, genügend belüfteten Raum
(Keller) ansaugen

BEDIENUNG
BRENNSTOFFZUGABE
• Befüllung des Vorratsbehälters nur in kaltem
Ofenzustand durchführen, da Verbrennungs-
gefahr besteht oder der Pelletsack schmelzen
könnte!
• Pellets, die den Weg in den Vorratsbehälter
nicht gefunden haben, sofort entfernen!
• Stets für einen angemessenen Füllstand im
Vorratsbehälter sorgen!
• Behälterdeckel außer beim Befüllen stets ge-
schlossen halten!
• Keine feuergefährlichen Flüssigkeiten zum An-
heizen benutzen!
ZÜNDUNG
• Elektrische Zündung (Einschaltdauer ca. 6 min)
• Die durchschnittliche elektrische Leistungs-
aufnahme beträgt im Heizbetrieb etwa 20 Watt
und während des automatischen Anzündvor-
ganges (ca. 6 min) ungefähr 300 Watt.
• Notbetrieb bei Ausfall der Zündpatronen mit
Feueranzündern (Anzündwürfel) möglich.

NUR GEPRÜFTE PELLETS NACH ÖNORM, DIN-
PLUS ODER ENPLUS-A1
Fordern Sie dazu eine Liste von überwachten
Brennstoffherstellern von Ihrem Pelletofenhänd-
ler an! Die Verwendung von minderwertigem oder
unzulässigem Pelletbrennstoff beeinträchtigt die
Funktion Ihres Pelletofens und kann zum Erlöschen
der Gewährleistung, der Garantie und der damit
verbundenen Produkthaftung führen.
TROCKENE, SAUBERE LAGERUNG
Um ein problemloses Verbrennen der Holzpellets
zu gewährleisten, ist es unbedingt notwendig, den
Brennstoff trocken und frei von Verschmutzungen
zu lagern. Pellets sollten auch in Säcken nicht im
Freien oder der Atmosphäre ausgesetzt gelagert
werden. Dies kann zu Verstopfungen in der Förder-
schnecke führen – „Schneckenstopfer“ sind von der
Garantie ausgenommen.

ACHTUNG: Abfallstoffe und Flüssigkeiten dürfen
nicht in einem ANIMO
®
Pelletofen verbrannt werden.
Um Pellets herzustellen,
werden Säge- und Hobel-
späne sowie unbehandelte
Resthölzer aus der Holz-
indus trie unter hohem Druck
ohne chemische Bindemittel
in Form gepresst. Dadurch
ergeben sich die EU-genorm-
ten Holzpresslinge mit einem
Durchmesser von 0,6 bis 0,8
Zentimeter. Der Feuchtig-
keits gehalt der Holzpress-
linge darf maximal zehn
Prozent betragen. Das
Heizen mit Pellets bietet
zahlreiche Vorteile, denn wer
mit dem umweltfreundlichen
Brenn stoff heizt, schont nicht
nur das Klima, sondern auch
den eigenen Geldbeutel.

Die erforderliche Inbetriebnahme des Ofens durch den Fachbetrieb (Fachpersonal)
macht einen effizienten und emissionsarmen Betrieb der Anlage möglich.
Im Serviceheft finden Sie weiterführende Informationen in Bezug auf die Garantie Ihres
ANIMO® Ofens. Das Serviceheft entspricht auch gleichzeitig Ihrem Inbetriebnahmeprotokoll,
das Sie darüber hinaus für die durchzuführenden Wartungen und Services benötigen.
Die regelmäßige Wartung und Reinigung der Anlage erfolgt durch den Fachbetrieb.
Zur Abstimmung des Gerätes mit der Abgasanlage kontaktieren Sie unbedingt Ihren
Schornsteinfegermeister.

GENERAL INFORMATION
Be careful to ensure that the stone cladding is
not damaged on unpacking. The material is easily
scratched. Natural stone is not included in the gu-
arantee.
Our tip: The wood used for packaging is not surface
treated and you can thus burn it in your stove. The
carton and PE sheeting can be disposed of easily at
your local community waste collection and recyc-
ling centre.
Approved transport aids only with an adequate
lifting capacity may be used for transporting
your heating device.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS AND WARNINGS
ONLY BURN APPROVED FUEL!
The burning of readily combustible or explosive mate-
rials, such as e.g. empty spray cans, or storing these
items in the vicinity of the stove is strictly prohibited be-
cause of the explosion risk. Your ANIMO
®
pellet stove
may only be operated with a closed firebox door. Use
only the tools supplied for opening the doors!
The firebox door must be kept closed when not in
operation.
THE SURFACES OF THE PELLET STOVE HEAT UP
VERY INTENSIVELY!
Heat is released by the burning of fuel and this cau-
ses the doors, the door handle and other operating
handles, the door glass, the stovepipe and potenti-
ally the front wall of the heating device to heat up
intensively. These should never be touched without
appropriate protection. Warn other people, in parti-
cular children, about this danger!
CAUTION WITH OBJECTS THAT ARE NOT HEAT
RESISTANT!
Placing any objects that are not heat resistant on
or near the heating device is prohibited. Stands for
drying laundry or similar items must be set up at
an adequate distance from the device because of
the acute fire risk!
When your stove is in use for heating the proces-
sing of easily combustible and explosive materials
in the heated room or neighbouring rooms is pro-
hibited.
RE-FILLING IS RECOMMENDED ONY WHEN THE
STOVE IS COLD!
The opening provided is adequately dimensioned for
filling the pellets hopper. Make sure that no pellets
fall on the convection ribs (see the sketch on the fol-
lowing page) or on the hot stove body. This can lead
to strong smoke development.

is a state-of-the-art technology pellets
stove. Not least as a result of many years of tests
in the laboratory and practice. Its most convincing
advantages include ease of operation, operational
security and a low emissions heat output.
MINIMUM OPERATING EFFORT, MAXIMUM
OPERATIONAL SECURITY
The electronic monitoring and the combustion tem-
perature monitoring control and direct the interplay
of the flue gas fan, screw-conveyor and the combus-
tion chamber temperature. This sophisticated mo-
nitoring system guarantees optimum combustion
and operation. The effort involved for you is reduced
to a minimum. This puts a stop to any operating er-
rors and provides for continuous optimal operation:
An information point on noise: All sounds from the
drive motors or combustion that can be heard du-
ring operation are below the permitted limit values
for living space.
HIGHEST EFFICIENCY WITH THE LOWEST

pellet stoves make outstandingly good
use of fuel capacities with their very large heat ex-
changer surfaces and the optimum use made of the
combustion air flow. A finely dosed and continuous
pellets feeding in an optimised burner pot in top
quality cast iron results in a virtually perfect com-
bustion process with outstanding flue gas values –
and this in every operational phase.

COMBUSTION AIR DISCHARGE
• Connection to a solid fuel approved chimney
(diameter =120 mm)
• Correct air-tight installation of the flue gas inlet
• Exclusive use of heat-resistant sealing materials
• The stovepipe must not project into the open sec-
tion of the chimney
• The flue gas path must not be of excessive length
(horizontal < 1.5 m)
• Few changes in direction of the flue gas flow to the
chimney are the best solution.
• A maximum of 3 bends in the flue gas pipe should
be permitted
• Where there is no direct and straight connection to
the chimney use and adapter with cleaning access
• Connect the stove to the chimney with the stov-
epipe
• Connect to the mains with the approx. 2.5 m long
connection power cable with Euro plug (connec-
tion to a 230 Volt, 50 Hz mains source), ensure that
any contact of the cable and hot or sharp edged
surfaces is avoided.
Observe all applicable regional construction
regulations and contact your local chimney
sweep about this!
FRESH AIR SUPPLY
Stoves without an external combustion air supply
link draw the air they need from the living area. Air
your living space several times a day to prevent ne-
gative pressure in the rooms or poor combustion.
Stoves with an external combustion air connection:
• Steel, HT or flexible aluminium pipe (diameter =
50 mm or 2 inch)
• For longer connecting pipe lengths of above 1 m
increase the diameter to 100 mm
• To ensure an adequate air supply the pipe should

Ask your pellets stove dealer for a list of approved
and monitored fuel producers! The use of low quali-
ty pellets or pellet fuel that has not been monitored
can have a detrimental effect on the function of your
pellet stove and can result in the invalidation
of the warranty, the guarantee and the product lia-
bility linked to them.
CLEAN, DRY STORAGE
It is essential that you store your fuel clean of im-
purities and dry in order to have pellet combustion
that is free of problems. Pellets should not be left in
the open or exposed to the atmosphere even when
