System and Settings
(1) Turning On/Off, Switch, Record/Pause: Long press the Power Button to turn on/off the
device, short press to switch inside lens recording mode. Short press the Rec/Pause Button to record
or pause. When the two-lens video is recorded, the two red dots flash alternately. When the inside lens
is turned off, a red dot flashes. It will automatically power on and start recording video once the ignition
is on.
(2) Language Setting: First of all, press the Rec/Pause/OK button to pause recording.
Setting: Menu Up/Down(Find Language Option) Rec/Pause/OK Up/Down(Select Language)
Rec/Pause/OK Menu(Exit).
(3) Time Zone Setting: First of all, pause recording. Setting: Menu Up/Down(Time Zone Option)
Rec/Pause/OK Up/Down(Select Time Zone) Rec/Pause/OK Menu(Exit).
For Example: London (GMT/GMT+1:00), New York (GMT-5:00), Los Angeles (GMT-8:00),
Rome (GMT+1:00/GMT+2:00)
(4) Mode Setting: Press the Mode button during recording to turn on/off the microphone. Press the
Mode button to switch to Photography and video playback mode when pause recording, then press the
Rec/Pause/OK button to take photos and play video.
(5) USB Mode(PC Mode & PC Camera): Connect to PC via USB cable first. PC Mode to transmit
data and view videos. Software"GPSPlayer" for viewing videos on PC/MAC ("GPSPlayer"download
Link: http://gpsplayer.net/setup.html). PC Camera mode to be an external camera for computers.
(6) Reset: Rotate the inside lens, then insert a tool into the hole of the reset button to reset the
system.

The Main Functions
WiFi Function
• Install App KAKAOK for the smartphone (Google Play/App Store).
• Press the Down Button to enter WiFi mode after pausing the recording, then connect the
smartphone WiFi to "NVT_CARDV" via the App (Password: 12345678). Press "Down" and then
"Rec/Pause/OK" if you need to exit WiFi mode.
• You can view the real-time or the past videos on the smartphone via App KAKAOK (It's
recommended to download to view full HD video smoothly).
GPS Function
• When searching for the GPS signals the icon "Satellite" on the display flashes, and the icon
"Satellite" is bright after searching for GPS signals. When the GPS is working, the recorded videos
will show the speed and the driving track.
• When the WiFi is turned on, the machine will forcibly turn off the GPS function (Because the WiFi
signal will interfere with the GPS searching).
• Users can download, view and share the videos showing the speed and GPS location via App
"KAKAOK". It also can be viewed on the computer via "GPSPlayer"
Night Vision Function (Detect, Switch and Exit Automatically)
• Set color night vision and black/white night vision for the front camera (the inside camera default
black/white night vision).
• When the ambient light level is lower than a certain brightness, enter the color night vision.
• When the ambient light level is lower than a certain brightness, enter the black/white night vision.

Troubleshooting / Q&A
Can't take photos or record videos?
• Check whether the locked video has exceeded the capacity of the TF card. It is
recommended that the user clean it regularly.
It freezes or stops automatically during recording?
• Make sure to use a high-speed TF card above Class-10 compatible with SDHC. A high-
speed TF card has a C4 or C6 logo. Samsung Evo Card recommended.
When saving images and videos, the system indicates "file error"？
• Use the "Format" function to reformat the TF card.
The resulting image is blurred?
• Check for dust or fingerprints on the lens to ensure that the lens is clean and dust-free.
When shooting the sky or water, the image looks dark?
• Correct by adjusting the EV value in the setup menu.
Are there interference images and are displayed as horizontal lines?
• This is because the " Frequency" setting is wrong. Modify the setting to "50Hz" or
"60Hz" according to the frequency of the light source.
Equipment shutdown？
• Press the reset button to restart the device.

The Main Functions
G-sensor Function
• G-sensor can be set in the menu, it provides 4 levels of sensitivity to select.
• When gravitational acceleration(1g=9.80m/s2) is experienced, the device will automatically lock
the video captured during the incident, and save it into a file that cannot be deleted.
SOS Function
• Presse the menu button during the process of video recording, the device will encrypt the
current video and save it as a file that cannot be deleted.
• The screen will show the icon "Key" when this happens.
Motion Detection
• G-sensor can be set in the menu.
• It automatically starts recording videos when motion is detected close to the vehicle.
HDR Function
• Wider dynamic range / More clear image details / More realistic visual effects.
24h Parking Monitoring Function
• It needs a USB output step-down converter (DC12V to 5V, Max output current: 3A).
• The step-down converter is not included.
• It is recommended to hire a professional electrician to install or contact the ANKEWAY team for
technical support.
