Sehr geehrte Kundin, sehr geehrter Kunde,
herzlichen Dank, dass Sie sich für unsere AES3.2 PC-Energie-
sparsteckdose mit Zero Watt Technologie entschieden ha-
ben. Die AES3.2 verhindert jeglichen unnötigen Standby-Ver-
brauch Ihrer elektronischen Geräte. Dank der Lernfunktion
ist die AES3.2 für nahezu alle Anwendungen geeignet. Bitte
lesen Sie die nachfolgende Bedienungsanleitung vor der
Inbetriebnahme aufmerksam durch. Wir wünschen Ihnen viel
Freude mit diesem Produkt.

SICHERHEITSHINWEISE
 Vor Inbetriebnahme Bedienungsanleitung sorgfältig
lesen und Sicherheitshinweise beachten!
 Bei Beschädigung des Gehäuses, der Netzkontakte
oder des Kabels die PC-Energiesparsteckdose nicht in
Betrieb nehmen; wenden Sie sich an den autorisierten
Fachhandel!
 Die PC-Energiesparsteckdose darf nur in geschlosse-

nen, trockenen Räumen betrieben werden!
 Um Brandgefahr bzw. die Gefahr eines elektrischen
Schlages auszuschließen, ist die PC-Energiesparsteck-
dose vor Feuchtigkeit, Regen und Hitze zu schützen!
 Die maximale Belastbarkeit der PC-Energiesparsteck-
dose beträgt 2500 Watt oder 10A. Achten Sie beim
Anschluss von Geräten darauf, dass dieser Wert nicht
überschritten werden darf!
 Reinigungsarbeiten nur bei gezogenem Netzstecker
durchführen!
 Die PC-Energiesparsteckdose nicht öffnen und von
Kindern fernhalten!
 Kinder sollten beaufsichtigt werden, um sicherzustel-
len, dass sie nicht mit dem Gerät spielen!
 Diese PC-Energiesparsteckdose ist nicht zur Ver-
wendung durch Personen (Kinder mit eingeschlos-
sen) bestimmt, welche eingeschränkte körperliche,
sensorische oder geistige Fähigkeiten aufweisen bzw.
fehlende Erfahrung und Kenntnis im Umgang mit diesem
Gerät haben. Solche Personen müssen von einer für

instruiert oder während der Gerätebedienung beauf-
sichtigt werden!

 Verwenden Sie die PC-Energiesparsteckdose nur gemäß
ihrer Bestimmung!

INBETRIEBNAHME
1. Schließen Sie die PC-Energiesparsteckdose an einer ge-
eigneten Steckdose an.
2. Schließen Sie Ihren PC oder ein anderes elektronisches
Gerät an der PC-Energiesparsteckdose an. Möchten Sie
mehrere Geräte anschließen, verwenden Sie hierzu eine
geeignete Mehrfachsteckdose. Bitte achten Sie darauf,
dass die maximale Belastung der PC-Energiesparsteck-
dose nicht überschritten wird!
3. Drücken Sie die rote Betriebstaste für ca. 3 Sekunden,
um die PC-Energiesparsteckdose in Betrieb zu nehmen.
Die Stromversorgung Ihrer Geräte ist jetzt für ca. 1 Minute
hergestellt.
4. Stellen Sie nun sicher, dass sich alle angeschlossenen
Geräte im Standby-Modus befinden. Versetzen Sie die
Geräte wenn nötig manuell in den Standby-Modus. Wenn
Sie akkubetriebene Geräte (z.B. Notebook, Netbook) an-
schließen, muss deren Akku vollständig aufgeladen sein.
5. Drücken Sie am Steckergehäuse die grüne „learn stand-
by“ Taste für ca. 3 Sekunden. Die PC-Energiesparsteck-

dose lernt danach automatisch den Standby-Verbrauch
Ihrer Geräte. Dieser Lernvorgang wird durch ein
schnelles Blinken (ca. 2x pro Sekunde) des roten Be-
triebstasters angezeigt. Ist der Lernvorgang beendet,
wechselt die PC-Energiesparsteckdose automatisch in
den Abschaltemodus. Dieser Modus wird durch lang-
sames Blinken (ca. 1x pro Sekunde) am Betriebstaster
angezeigt. Ihre angeschlossenen Geräte werden nach
einer Minute im Abschaltemodus vollständig vom Netz
getrennt. Die PC-Energiesparsteckdose trennt sich selbst
dank der intelligenten ZeroWatt-Technologie vollständig
vom Netz und verbraucht keinen Strom mehr (0 Watt).
6. Um Ihr Gerät / Ihre Geräte wie gewohnt verwenden zu
können, drücken Sie zuerst die rote Betriebstaste für
ca. 3 Sekunden. Alle an der PC-Energiesparsteckdose
angeschlossenen Geräte sind nun Betriebsbereit. Die
Betriebstaste leuchtet dauerhaft rot sobald eines der
angeschlossenen Geräte aus dem Standby-Modus in
Betrieb genommen wird. Nachdem Sie Ihr Gerät wieder in
den Standby-Modus versetzt haben, erkennt die PC-Ener-
giesparsteckdose dies und wechselt in den Abschalte-

modus, d.h. die Betriebstaste blinkt rot und nach ca. 1
Minute erfolgt automatisch die Netztrennung.
UMWELTHINWEISE
Werfen Sie das Produkt am Ende seiner Lebensdauer keines-
falls in den normalen Hausmüll. Entsorgen Sie es über einen
zugelassenen Entsorgungsbetrieb oder über Ihre kommunale
Entsorgungseinrichtung. Beachten Sie die aktuell geltenden
Vorschriften. Setzen Sie sich im Zweifelsfall mit Ihrer Ent-
sorgungseinrichtung in Verbindung. Führen Sie alle Verpa-
ckungsmaterialien einer umweltgerechten Entsorgung zu.
WARTUNG/PFLEGE
Um eine einwandfreie Funktion der PC-Energiesparsteckdose
sicherzustellen, halten Sie bitte die Kontakte frei von Ver-
schmutzungen. Reinigung nur bei gezogenem Netzstecker
und mit einem trockenen Tuch durchführen.

Thank you for choosing to buy the ANSMANN AES3.2 PC
Energy Saving Mains Socket with Zero-Watt Technology. This
AES3.2 prevents any unnecessary standby power consump-
tion from your electronic devices. Thanks to the learning
function, the device is suitable for almost all applications.
Please read the following instruction manual before use. We
hope you will be happy with our product. Your ANSMANN Team
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
 Please read the operating instructions carefully and
observe the safety instructions!
 Do not use the PC Energy Saving Mains Socket if there
are any signs of damage to the housing,mains pins or
cable. Please contact an authorized dealer!
 Keep the PC Energy Saving Mains Socket in dry places!
 In order to avoid the risk of fire and/or electric shock,
the PC Energy Saving Mains Socket must be protected
against high humidity, water and excessive heat!

 The maximum load of this PC Energy Saving Mains So-
cket is 2500 Watt or 10A. Make sure when connected to
a device that this value is not exceeded!
 Before cleaning the PC Energy Saving Mains Socket dis-
connect it from the mains and only use a dry cloth!
 Do not attempt to open the PC Energy Saving Mains So-
cket and keep it away from children’s reach!
 Children should be supervised to ensure that they do
not play with the appliance!
 The appliance is not to be used by children or persons
with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities,
or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have
been given supervision or instruction!
 If the safety instructions are not followed it may lead to
damage to the PC Energy Saving Mains Socket and could
cause injury!
 Only plug the PC Energy Saving Mains Socket into a cor-
rectly fitting mains socket!

FUNCTIONAL OVERVIEW

 No more unnecessary standby power consumption
 2500 Watt (10A) operating capacity
OPERATION
1. Plug the PC Energy Saving Mains Socket into a suitable
mains socket.
2. Connect the PC or another electronic device to the PC
Energy Saving Mains Socket. Use an appropriate multiple
socket if you would like to use several devices. Please al-
ways make sure that the maximum load of the PC Energy
Saving Mains Socket will not be exceeded.

3. Press for approx. 3 seconds the red operating button to
activate the PC Energy Saving Mains Socket. The power
supply is now established for one minute.
4. Please ensure that all connected devices are on standby.
If necessary put the devices on standby manually. When
connecting battery operated devices (e.g. Notebook, Net-
book), the battery has to be fully charged.
5. Press the green “learn standby” button for 3 seconds.
The PC Energy Saving Mains Socket will then learn auto-
matically the standby characteristics of the connected
devices. This sequence of learning will be indicated by a
fast blinking (approx. 2 times per second) of the red ope-
rating button. When the learning process is finished the
PC Energy Saving Mains Socket automatically switches
into disconnecting mode. This mode will be indicated by
slow blinking (approx. 1 time per second) of the operating
button. The connected devices will be cut-off from mains
power after one minute in disconnecting mode. Thanks
to intelligent Zero Watt Technology the PC Energy Saving
Mains Socket disconnects itself from the mains and does

not waste any electricity (0 Watt).
6. To use your device as usual press the red operating
button for approx. 3 seconds. All devices connected to
the PC Energy Saving Mains Socket are now ready for
operation. The operating button lights permanently red
as soon as one of the connected devices is taken from
the standby mode into operation mode. After the device
had been restored to standby mode, the PC Energy
Saving Mains Socket recognizes this and switches into
disconnecting mode, which means that the operating
button is blinking red and after one minute there will be
the automatically mains cut-off.
ENIVIRONMENTAL NOTES
Do not dispose of this product into the normal household
waste. Please return to your dealer or nearest recycling
centre or collection point. Please note the current applicable
regulations. In case of doubt contact your recycling centre.
Please recycle all packing materials properly.

tamination. To clean the unit disconnect it from the mains
and use only a dry cloth.

MODE D’EMPLOI
1. Brancher la prise AES3.2 dans une prise secteur appro-
priée.
2. Brancher votre PC ou autres appareils dans la prise
AES3.2. Vous pouvez utiliser une multi prises. Bien s’as-
surer de ne pas dépasser la puissance max supportée
par la prise AES3.2.
3. Appuyer sur le bouton rouge pendant environ 3 secondes
pour activer la prise AES3.2. L’alimentation est établie
pendant une minute.
