T.124.00 Solar Water Heating System
Instruction Manual
CAUTION:
1. Turn off all electrical devices (e.g. boiler,pump) that are connected to
the unit before installation and maintenance.
2. The installer must be a trained service personnel
3. Disconnect the power supply before maintenance.
4. It must be mounted on a dry clean indoor place.
5. Do not expose this unit to moisture.
6. Do not expose this unit to dipping or splashing.

Sensor Terminal:
T1 PT1000 sensor to solar collector panel

Rating:
Input voltage: 230Vac +10% ~ 230Vac -15%
Output1: 5A, 230Vac
Output2: 5A, 230Vac
Mounting:
Open the thermostat at bottom
side by a flat screw driver
Unplug the 10 pins connector
between the top and the base
housing
1. Base housing
i. Adjust the base on the wall or junction box and ensure that the base is at
surface level and cover the junction box comfortably.
ii. Pull the cables out through the middle hole of the base.
iii. If necessary, place 2 pcs of wall anchors in the wall.
iv. Fasten the base with 2 pcs of long screws.
v. Place the cables at the hole near the terminal block.
2. Hold the thermostat on the base.
3. Connect 10 pins connector betweeb top and base PCB
4. Push the thermostat straight onto the base until it snaps into place.

Press “Up/Down” key to check T1 to T3 temperature.
(T3 is not available in Sys1)
If T1 temperature over 200

Mode selection
Press Mode key to select the setting modes
The sequence is: Output1 setting-> Output2 Setting (Not available in Sys1)->
High/Low limit setting->Program Timer(Sys2 and Sys3 only)
Press “Set” to enter the setting mode

Output Setting
In general, pump will be turn on/off base on the temperature difference
between collector and tank, Delta= T1- T2 and T2 set point
Press “Up/Down” to adjust the Delta-On set point.
Press “Set” key to confirm and go to Delta-Off set point
Press “Up/Down” to adjust the Delta-Off set point.
Press “Set” key to confirm and go to T2 set point
Press “Up/Down” to adjust the T2 set point
Press “Set” key to confirm and go to T2 span setting
Press “Up/Down” to adjust the T2 span setting
Press “Set” key to confirm and go to Normal page
If Delta is larger than Delta-On set point and T2< T2 set point, pump will be
turned on.
Example:
Delta on Set point=10
o
C and T2 set point = 60
o
C,
Temperature T1= 70
o
C , T2 = 50
o
C
Pump will be turned on, since Delta= T1-T2= 20
o

If Delta is equal or smaller than Delta-Off set point, the pump will be turned off
Example:
Delta off Set point=6

For output2 setting,
Delta setting (T2-T3) will only available in Sys 4
T3 set point will only available in Sys2 and Sys3
High/ Low limit Setting
This set point is used to prevent the water tank overheated
Output will be turned off when T1/T2/T3 over its limit temperature
T1 high limit set point range: 60 to 190
o
C
T1 lower limit set point range 10 to 40
o
C
T2,T3 high limit range: 0 to 100
o
C
Press “Up/Down” to view each limit set point
Press ”Set” enter the setting
T1 high limit T2 high limit
T3 high limit T1 low limit
Press “Up/Down” to adjust the limit set point
Press “Set” to confirm and back to the selection page
Press “Home” back to normal page
Example:
T1: 120.5
o
C , T1 high limit set is 120
o

Pump will be turned off
The limitation will be released when T1=115
o
C (High limit -5
o
C)
For the tank, the limit will be released when T2 & T3 < High limit- 2
o
C)
Program Timer (Only available in Sys2 and Sys3)
There are two timers for the output2
Press “Up/Down” to set Program 1 On/Off
Press “Set” key to confirm
If user selected program 1 on, press “Up/Down” to set the Timer ON
Press “Set” key to confirm and set Timer OFF
After setting Timer Off, press “Set” key to set Program 2 timer
Example:
If both programs are off, Output2 will be activated according to T3 set
point
If program1, timer on is 7:00 and timer off is 9:00.
Program 2, timer on is 18:00 and timer off is 20:00
Output2 will only be turned on between 7:00-9:00 and 18:00 – 20:00 if
T3 temperature < T3 set point
Internal Setting:
Hold and press “Set” key to enter internal setting
Press Up/Down to select time scale.
Press “Up/Down” to set vacation On/Off
Press “Set to confirm and go to test On/Off mode
Vacation mode activated
Output2 will always off
Output1 will always off except :ICE protection
Press “Up/Down” to set test mode On/Off
If test off is selected, it will go to fill system on/off
If test on is selected it will go to test time setting
Press “Up/Down” to set the test time
Press “Set” to start the pump, thermostat will do the count down.
The range is 5 to 60 seconds, after finish the count down, output1 will be off
and set the test mode off
Press Up/Down to set Fill system On/Off
Press ”Set” to confirm
If Fill system on is selected, it will go to time setting
Press” Up/Down” to set the test duration
Press “Set” to start the pump and count down
The range is 10minutes to 4 hours, after finish the count down, output1 will be off
and set fill system to off.
Press Up/Down to select system mode 1 to mode 4
For the system detail, please refer to system selection section
Press “Set” to confirm and back to normal page.
Anti-legionella function
In internal setting, if user selected system 2or 3, before back to normal page,
thermostat will provide anti-legionella function setting
Press Up/Down to set it On/Off
Press Set to confirm, if user selected off, it will go to normal page.
If user selected on, press “Up/Down” to adjust the set point
Press “Set” key to confirm and start this function.
Set point range is 60-90
o
C
Thermostat will turn off the Output1 and turn on the Output2
LCD will show Anti and Lp
The anti-lp function takes 7 minutes to 1 minute, the time duration is
based on the set point. Duration: 1100 - (12* set point).
Set Clock
Press “Clock” to set day and time
Press “Up/Down” to adjust the day/time
Press “Set” to confirm and set Hour/ Minutes and back to normal page
after finish setting

System 1: 2 sensors and 1 tank
T1: Solar Collector temperature sensor
T2: Lower storage tank temperature sensor
System 2: 3 sensors with boiler

System 3: 3 sensors with boiler
T1: Solar Collector temperature sensor
T2: Lower storage tank temperature sensor
T3: Thermostatic sensor
System 4: 3 sensors with 2 tanks
T1: Solar Collector temperature sensor
T2: Lower storage tank temperature sensor
T3: Differential sensor
Normally opened (before set point or limitation)
Normally closed (before set point or limitation)
Errors
If the temperature sensor missing or broken, thermostat will show --

If anti-legionella function runs more than 1 hour, LCD will show “Anti” and “Err”
Please check the function of boiler, since it can not achieve the set point more than 1 hours
All output will be off when there is “Err”.
Overheat protection
Protection turns on:
If T1 >=T1 high limit, T2<= T2 high limit -2
o
C and T3<= T3 high limit -2
o
C
If T2>= T2 high limit or T3>= T3 high limit and T1<=T1 high limit -5
o
C
Protection turns off:
If T1 >=T1 high limit, T2>= T2 high limit or T3>= T3 high limit
If T1<=T1 high limit -5
