1 - GENERAL INFORMATION
1.1 - General safety warnings
Installation, changes
The installation must be carried out by a professionally
qualied technician, in compliance with the national and
local regulations as well as the instructions in this manual.
This tank is not equipped with an hydraulic safety unit as
provided for by the Standard UNI EN 1487, the device is
part of the plant and is the installer’s responsibility.
Do not leave packaging and replaced parts within the reach
of children.
The user, under the terms of use, is obliged to keep the
installation and good condition and ensure a safe and
reliable operation of the appliance.
The user is required to have the appliance maintenance
carried out in accordance with this manual and by a
professionally qualied technician.
An incorrect installation or poor maintenance may injure
people, animals and damage property for which the
manufacturer cannot be held liable.
Disconnect the appliance from the power mains by acting
on the appropriate shut-off devices before performing any
cleaning or maintenance.
In case of failure
In case of failure and/or appliance malfunction, deactivate
it refraining from any repair or direct intervention. Always
contact a professionally qualied technician. If the repair
involves the replacement of components, these must be
original spare parts only. Failure to do so may compromise
the safety of the appliance.
Professionally qualied technician.
 A professionally qualied technician is a person having
specic technical expertise in the components of heating
systems, production of domestic hot water for residential
use, fuel gas systems and electrical system. Such
personnel must have the legal qualications.
Technical drawings
All drawings in this manual relating to electrical, hydraulic
or gas installation systems, are purely indicative. All safety,
expansion, auxiliary devices as well as the diameters of
electrical, hydraulic and gas ducts must always be checked
by a professionally qualied technician, to verify their
compliance with applicable laws and standards.
This manual is an integral and essential part of the product
and must be carefully stored by the user for possible future
consultation. If the device is to be transferred or moved and
left to another user, always make sure that this manual is
given to the new user and/or installer.
Read the manual carefully as it contains important
information on the safety, installation, use and maintenance
of the appliance.
This appliance must only be intended for the use for which
it has been expressly provided:
heating of domestic hot water for residential use at a
temperature below boiling point at atmospheric pressure.
All manufacturer liability, contractual and non-contractual,
for damage caused by errors in installation or use and,
in any case, for failure to comply with the manufacturer’s
instructions or with the relevant applicable national and/or
local laws, is excluded.
For safety reasons and environmental protection, the
packaging items must be disposed of in appropriate waste
collection centres.

150 = 150 litre capacity oor standing tank.
200 = 200 litre capacity oor standing tank.
300 = 300 litre capacity oor standing tank.
500 = 500 litre capacity oor standing tank.
750 = 750 litre capacity oor standing tank.
1000 = 1000 litre capacity oor standing tank.
AGUATANK = Multifunction porcelain glass tank with inspection ange for
D.H.W. heating and/or production.
To know the tank model in your possession, compare the above with what
is written on the data plate applied on its side under the item “model”.

4.2 - Choosing the installation
site
ATTENTION !!! The appliance must only be
installed on a horizontal surface that withstands its
weight. Consider the weight of the tank in service (see
chapter 7 technical features) plus the water heater if of
the oor standing type, both full of water (see the water
heater installation manual for its references).
Establish the appropriate room and position for installation,
keeping the following factors in mind:
- weight and dimensions of the appliance;
- water supply connection;
- domestic hot water system connection;
- possible tank drain connection (recommended);
- possible tank safety valve drain connection
(recommended);
- possible water heater safety valve drain connection
(recommended);
- electronic anode (if any) connection to the power supply;
- As for the water heater connections, please refer to its
installation manual.
