I. PREFACE
Our Low-ambient temperature air-source heat pumps strictly comply with the design and
production standards during the production, which intends to provide the high quality
operating state, high reliability and excellent adaptability of machine.
The manual contains information required for the correct installation, commissioning, run-
ning, and servicing of the machine.
Please read the manual carefully before running or troubleshooting the machine.
The coverage of warranty must comply with the following conditions:
• The installation must be performed by the trained professionals. Maintenance of
machine must be carried out by professional maintenance personnel from a
professional maintenance service center or personnel from a special company
designated by the company.
• Only the original various spare parts provided can be used. All machine operation and
maintenance items specified in the manual must be carried out in strict accordance with
the specified time and frequency.
• If any of the above conditions are violated, the warranty will be automatically invalidated.
The company shall not be liable for any injury to persons or damage to machinery caused by
improper installation, commissioning, unnecessary maintenance, failure to comply with the
provisions and instructions in this manual.
All illustrations and information in this manual are for reference only.
The manufacturer reserves the right to make necessary changes for sales or production rea-
sons at any time without prior notice.
1.The device should be installed in accordance with the national wiring rules, while it shall
ensure that the unit input voltage matches the nameplate.
2.The device should be used in the ambient temp of -30°C-43°C and environmental
humidity < 85%.
3. If the power cord is damaged, in order to avoid danger, you must notify the company or
similar department of professionals to replace it.

4.The device must have reliable grounding measures, and the connected power supply must
be reliable grounding.
5.The device is a fixed type of appliance, for which a rigid foundation or concrete base
without deformation shall be provided by the user.The size of foundation refers to the size
of the four positioning holes of the unit.The frame structure can also be adopted by a foun-
dation of the unit, the frame is mounted on a load-bearing beam or column and is provided
with a suitable location for the indoor floor, which is capable of carrying 130% more than the
weight of the appliance and the flatness of the foundation.The following factors should also
be considered:
a) The installation position is horizontal and can support 1.3 times the unit weight.
b) A sufficient space should be reserved around and on the top of device to facilitate air
circulation and equipment maintenance.
c) Do not install the unit in a place where fallen leaves, insects or other contaminants are
easy to gather, to prevent the blockage of air-side heat exchanger.
d) When the device is installed, the position of the air-side heat exchanger should be adju-
sted to avoid direct sunlight.
e) Drains should be set around the device to drain the defrosting condensed water.
6.The machine must be transported and stored vertically.

2.3 Important Notice for Antifreeze to Avoid heat pump broken!(Must be Read)
1. Water flow switch MUST be installed during installation for heat pump air
conditioning side to ensure proper water flow.
2. Must check if there is enough water flow after finish installation.You can check the
inlet and outlet water temp difference must be about 5°C when compressor is working in
highest speed in heating mode.
3. Water filter MUST be installed before water go into heat pump water heat exchanger.
The water filter need to be cleaned at least half an year.
4. If the air temp is once lower than 0°C, you must use enough brine(glycol) as the fluid
in the heat pump water system instead of pure water.
5. MUST keep the electricity power supply always connected even when you don‘t use
the heat pumps. Our heat pump has antifreeze function. So If without glycol or other anti-
freeze liquid and if the electricity is cut off by accident for more than 30 minutes when air
temp<0°C, you need to drain out all water to protect the heat pump from being frozen.

Features of product
• Easy installation and flexible layout
The air cooling method could save cooling water systems such as cooling towers and
cooling water pumps, with quick and convenient installment. It can be directly installed on
the ground, balcony, roof and other open places without a dedicated computer room, which
saves space and reduces one-time investment costs.
• Safety and environmental protection, low cost
The heat pump unit can be used for both cooling and heating. It is a one-machine with
dual-use. Heating can be provided by heat pump, it is low operating cost, safe and clean for it
is not required to build a boiler room, to reduce the cost and avoid environmental pollution.
Meanwhile, no freon enters into the indoor for the application of indoor water system, which
can reduce the possibility of refrigerant leakage.
• Reliable performance
The core components of the unit, such as compressors, high-efficiency tank heat exchangers,
four-way valves, expansion valves and others adopt internationally renowned brand products.
Coupled with reasonable and perfect production technology and strict quality inspection
methods, the performance of unit can be completely guaranteed.

The unit is designed with a variety of protection measures, such as over-current, high and
low voltage, overheating, reverse phase and open phase, water flow switch and others, and
has multiple controls such as automatic freeze-proofing, automatic defrost and others, which
ensure the safe and reliable operation and simpler operation of unit.
• Wide application
It is suitable for the air conditioning needs of hotels, villas, residences, hospitals,
entertainment centers, office buildings, shopping malls and other buildings. It is used with
fan coils, air handling units and other indoor air conditioning terminals, with the mature and
reliable technology.
• Silent operation
The low-speed large-blade axial fan, the fully enclosed compressor and shock absorber, and
the perfect system piping design can effectively reduce the operating noise and reduce the
impact on the surrounding environment.

• Rated working conditions:
Cooling: outdoor air inlet temperature 35°C, inlet water temperature 12°C/ outlet water
temperature 7°C;
Heating: outdoor air inlet temperature 7°C, inlet water temperature 40°C/outlet water
temperature 45°C;
Low temperature heating: outdoor air inlet temperature is -12°C, and water outlet
temperature is 41°C.
• The company reserves the right to change product design for improving product
performance without prior notice;
• During the actual usage, 5% cooling heating capacity loss should be considered for
pipes, pumps, valves and dirt reason after unit is installed.

VI. ELECTRICAL CONTROL AND INSTALLATION
1. Electrical installation requirements
1) The unit should be equipped with a dedicated power supply, the power supply voltage
fluctuates range -10% to +10%, and an automatic air switch should be used. Its rated current
is 1.5 times the operating current of unit. Circuit breaker is absolutely prohibited;
2) The unit should be grounded reliably, and the power supply of the unit should be checked
regularly;
3) Do not operate the host switch frequently, which should not exceed four times per hour.
The electric control box should be protected from moisture;
4) If the provided power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, agent or
equivalent technical personnel to avoid danger;
5) The installation of the unit should comply with local electrical regulations;
6) Before the unit is installed, the parameters that need to be set have been set by
manufacturer. Generally, users are not allowed to modify the parameters by themselves.
If necessary, please contact the agent or the technical service personnel of manufacturer.
2.Wiring precautions
All wire connections must be firm.
Regularly maintain and check whether there are any hidden dangers such as looseness,
damage, moisture and others shall be conducted.

2. ON/OFF and Working Mode
Light is on when power on.
Press “ ”to change dierent working mode.
Room heating will show“ ”

Press the “ “ when the heat pump is o, the corresponding mode will ash, and it will
turn o after 5 seconds.
Press “ ”, the heat pump will turn on, light the corresponding mode symbol, and display
relevant status information
Press “ ” again, the heat pump will turn o and the mode symbol will go out.
Power on and o, all data will be stored. With power o memory function.

3. Time Setting
If its not in the “query” or “set” state, press the“ + ”to enter the time setting. The time
is adjusted as follows:

If its not in the “query” or “set” state, long press“ + ” with 3seconds, enter the timing
setting. Then press“ ” to adjust in the following order:

5. Operation Mode Adjustment
At the state of power-on, press “ ” key, display controller modes are changed among
“Normal”, “Query”, “Set”.
At the state of“Normal”, the display shows the setting temp on the top, and indicate“SET
TEMP”, And it shows actual water temp at the key, and indicate “TEMP”.
If the controlled temp is outlet water temp, corresponding area indicate “OUT”. If the
controlled temp is inlet water temp, corresponding area indicate“IN”. if the controlled
temp is water tank temp, then the corresponding area doesn’t indicate “IN/OUT”.
At the state of“Query”:
a. In the middle of key, it shows “c”, at the right of key, it shows serial no.“XXX”, The “XXX”
represents serial no.
b. Query parameters are displayed on the left 4 digits
At the state of“SET”
a. The character in the middle of key shows “d”, at the right of key, it shows serial no.“XXX”,
the “XXX” represents serial no
b. The setting parameters are displayed on the left 4 digits.
If no press operation after entering into“SET” mode for 5 minutes, then exit automatically.
After entering into“Query” mode, no matter with/without operation, it doesn’t quit
automatically. Only press “ ” to reselect operation mode.
At the state of“SET”, press “ ” to exit to the operating state
