INTRODUCTION:
The laser rangefinder HX-700N is a portable optoelectronic device which can be used
to measure the distance of a stationary object within a certain range. It possesses
advantages such as high accuracy, short measuring time, low power consumption
and automatic power-off for power saving. It is advantageous in locking small
objects(such as flag sticks) from background targets, like trees or bushes

OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Start
The range finder has two buttons: the power button and the mode button “M”.
Press power button shortly to turn on. The LCD will display as shown in the below
figure.
2. Adjust the focus
The range finder is designed with an adjustable eyepiece(dioptre). By adjusting the
focusing dioptre within a -5 to +5 range, users with far sighted vision can use laser
range finder without glasses. Looking through the eyepiece, turn the dioptre left or
right until the view is focused with clarity to suit you.
3. Mode Selection
Our company produces different kinds of laser rangefinder, which all have different
functions. Each kind can change modes by short pressing the button “M”. Long
pressing M button to switch the unit of distance “meter” and “yard” in the mode of
“range measurement”. After the switch, the unit will be applied in these two modes.

While in velocity measurement mode, the unit of the measured value needs to be
converted separately.

In the flagpole scan mode, the point D may be
isolated from a number of
points in the background and
keep only the distance d1 to
the point. So as to achieve the
automatic locking flagpole
distance. The other goals are
shielded behind the flagpole.

“Fog” mode

Function Principle:
In a short distance the microparticles in the fog will
reflect the laser, so in fog days the product will not
be able to measure distant
targets.
Filter out the incorrect
distance(d1=30m) caused by
the microparticles in the fog,
thus ensuring the long-distance
measurement range volume.

Function Principle:
For moving objects, ranging twice. Two distance
difference,divided by the
time interval, the speed
of moving objects can be
obtained.

Velocimetry method

In scan mode, the laser will
emit continuously, each
measured distance will be
displayed one by one.
4.Low voltage alarm
When the battery voltage is too low, the low pattern
will be shown to remind to replace the battery.

NOTICE:
● The measuring range of the rangefinder could be influenced by the nature of the
target, the speed of laser, tilted angle of the target and the visiblity of the weather.
Generally speaking, the measuring range is better when there is a smooth surface,
bright color, big area of targets, and a bigger angle between the laser and the target.
● Users need to change a new battery when “ ”displays. A low battery can affect
accuracy. If you do not use the rangefinder for a long time, please take the battery
out.
● Do not touch the eyepiece directly, in order to avoid damage the film of the eyepiece.
● This device has been accurately aligned and adjusted with precise equipment.
Never disassemble it at random.
● If the external lens is stained,please clean it with the lens cloth. Do not use other
materials when cleaning so as to prevent the coating from being damaged.
● Collision or high pressure should be avoided when carrying about or operating.

● Keep the device in a dry, cool and airy place and avoid dust, direct sunshine and
extreme change of temperature.
● If there is a problem with the device, send it to a professional department, and never
disassemble it by yourselves.
● Never transmit the laser towards sun or strong light, so as to prevent the
photosensitive element from damages.
