1 Product Application
1.1 instructions
1.1.1. Install SIM Card
Unscrew the four-corner screws of the waterproof rubber shell on the back, and insert the
Nano SIM card into the card slot.
If it’s required to configure the APN, please confirm the APN info with the card issuing
operator, and refer to AOVX_Assets Tracker Device_A Series_User Guide.
Configuration Steps:
(1) Next to the card slot is the USB interface. Connect the terminal to the computer through a
USB data cable.
(2) Choose correct serial port and device type.

(3) Open COM Port.
(4) Query current parameter and version, data is shown is display area and filled in parameter
area.

(5) Find the parameter you want to change, input value or choose status, then click on the box
on the right.

(6) Click on Config button to set the value.
(7) Local CFG Succeed means configuration is done. You can query parameter again to
double check.

1.1.2 Turn on the Device
Turn the toggle switch next to the card slot to the ON position, and observe the front blue
light, which flashes regularly and slowly, indicating that the device is started normally.
1.1.3. Installation position
A series device can be magnetic mounted or screw mounted. The logo should face
outwards to ensure better signal.
2 AOVX Cloud Platform
Customers can use our platform, as well as third-party or your own platforms. The
configuration and user guide are as follows.
2.1 AOVX Cloud Platform
Website: http://login.yunxion.com/, user name and password are provided by AOVX
administrator.
2.1.1. Add Goods
Enter Goods Management—Goods List, Add Goods. Fill in requested information, so
it’ll be easy to search your assets or goods. Be noted, IMEI must be the same with the label
sticked to the back side of the device. Departure time means you want to view the status
information of the device from which point in time, the arrival time can be estimated
according to the shipping time.

2.1.2. Add Device
Enter Device Center—Device List, Add Device The IMEI must be consistent with the
label on the back of the device. Only by adding goods and device at the same time, they can be
bound correctly, then the route will be correctly displayed.

3 FAQ
3.1 Vibration Alarm Test
Hold the device and shake it back and forth quickly. When the motion count exceeds the
preset value, an alarm will be triggered. You can check the platform to view the alarm.
3.2 Tamper Alert:
Cover up the light sensor first, then remove coverings. Tamper alert will be triggered
immediately when light intensity exceeds the value we set.

3.3 Position Unfixed or Huge Deviation
Question1: It’s impossible to receive good signals where satellites are blocked, such as
underground or under high buildings
Solution1: Move to open area with good satellite signal
Question2: Device is faced down or blocked by metal
Solution2: Put the device correctly or change to another position. Make sure no insulation
film on the glass.
3.4 Unable to Register
Question1: SIM card is not inserted correctly or loose
Solution1: Check SIM card, and reinstall
Question2: Dirt on the metal surface of SIM card.
Solution2: Please wipe it with a clean cloth.

Question3: The SIM card is damaged or invalid.
Solution3: Please replace a valid SIM card.
Question4: Beyond the operator's service area.
Solution4: Please move the device to the service area of the network service provider.
Question5: Weak signal.
Solution5: Please move to a strong signal and try again.
3.5 Location Information not Found
Question1: The SIM card does not have GPRS service.
Solution1: Please contact the network service provider to open GPRS service.
Question2: SIM card arrears.
Solution 2: Recharge fee.
3.6 There is no Data Reporting on the Platform.
Please confirm that the equipment IMEI number is correctly added on the platform. Please
check whether the terminal IP, port and IMEI correspond to the platform correctly.
