SwitchingOntheAppliance
•Beforeswitching on,placetheapplianceon uprightposition
andwaitatleastthreehourswithoutmoving theappliance. This
will givetherefrigerantcircuittimetosettleand operateeffi-
ciently.
•Clean theappliancethoroughly,especiallyintheinterior,beforeuse(SeeCleaning
andMaintenance).
•Installation oftheappliance andelectricalconnectionsmustbe
carried outbyaqualifiedtechnician,inaccordancewiththeIn-
stallation Manualand localregulations.
•Installationprocedureintothe kitchen unitisgiven intheInstal-
lation Manual.Thisproductisintendedtobeusedinproper
kitchen unitsonly.
•Theappliancemustbeconnectedwithaproperlyinstalledfused
socket. Powersupply(AC)andvoltageatthe operating point
mustwiththedetailsonthenameplateofthe appliance (name
plateislocatedontheinside leftoftheappliance).
•Insert the plugintoasocketwithanefficientgroundconnection.
Ifthe sockethasnogroundcontactortheplugdoes notmatch,
wesuggestyou tocallanauthorized electricianforassistance.
•Manufacturerisnotresponsibleforfailuretocompletethe
groundconnection asdescribedinthisbooklet.
•Therecanbean odorwhen you firstswitchontheappliance.Itwilldisappearafter
theappliancestartstocool.
•Theplugmustbeaccessibleafterinstallation.

ThermostatSetting
•Thermostatautomaticallyregulates theinsidetemperatureofthe refrigeratorcom-
partmentandfreezercompartment.Byrotating theknobfromposition1to5,colder
temperatures canbe obtained.
•The“0 “positionshowsthermostatisclosedandnocoolingisavailable.
•Forshort-termstorageoffood inthefreezercompartment,youcan settheknob
betweenminimumand mediumposition (1-3).
•Forlong-termstorageoffoodinthe freezercompartment,you cansetknob medium
position.(3-4)
• Notethat; the ambienttemperature,temperatureofthe freshlystoredfood and
howoftenthedoorisopened,affectsthetemperatureinthe refrigeratorand
freezercompartments.If required,changethe temperaturesetting.
•Whenyoufirstswitchontheappliance,you shouldideallytrytorunitwithoutany
food infor24 hoursand notopenthedoor. Ifyouneed touseit straight away,trynot
toputmuch foodinside.
•Iftheunitisswitchedofforunplugged,youmustallowatleast5minutesbefore
restartinginordernottodamagethecompressor.

Refrigeratorcompartmentisusedforstoring freshfoodforfewdays.
•Donotplacefoodindirectcontactwiththe rearwallofthe refrigeratorcompartment.
Leave somespacearoundfoodtoallowcirculationofair.
•Donotplace hotfood orevaporatingliquidintherefrigerator.
•Always storefoodinclosedcontainersorwrapped.
•Toreducehumidityandavoidformation offrost, neverplaceliquidsinunsealed
containersintherefrigerator.
•Meatofall types,wrappedinpackages,isrecommendedtobeplacedon the glass
shelfjustabovethevegetablebin,wheretheairiscolder.
•You canputthefruitsand vegetables intocrisperwithoutpacking.
•Toavoidthecoldairescaping,trynottoopenthedoortoooften,and notleavethe
dooropenforalongtime.
PART4. CLEANINGAND MAINTENANCE
• Disconnecttheappliancefromthepowersupplybeforecleaning.
•Donotpourwaterovertheappliance.
•Therefrigeratorcompartmentshouldbecleanedperi-
odicallyusing asolution ofbicarbonateofsodaandluke-
warmwater.
•Cleanthe accessoriesseparatelywithsoapand water.
Donotputtheminthe dishwasher.
•Donotuseabrasiveproducts,detergentsorsoaps. After
washing,rinse withcleanwaterand drycarefully.When
thecleaning operationshavebeencompleted,recon-
nectthe plugwith dryhands.

Defrosting theRefrigerator
•Defrostingoccursautomaticallyinrefrigeratorduringoperation;thedefrostwateris
collected bythe evaporatingtray andevaporatesautomatically.
•Thedefrostwaterdrainholeshouldbecleanedperiodicallywithdefrostdrainplug to
preventthewaterfromcollectingonthe bottomoftherefrigeratorinstead offlowing
out.
•You canalsopour½glassofthewatertodrainholetoclean inside.
Replacing theLightBulb
Whenreplacing thebulboftherefrigerator;
1. Unplugtheunitfromthepowersupply.
2. Pressthehook infrontofthelightcoversuch as Figure1and removethelight
cover.
3. Changethepresentlightbulbwithanewoneofnotmorethan15 W.
4. Replacethe lightcoverand afterwaiting5minutesplug theunit.

lation Manual.
Ifthereisnoise;
Thecoolinggas which circulates intherefrigeratorcircuitmaymake aslightnoise
(bubblingsound)even whenthecompressorisnotrunning.Donotworry,thisisquite
normal.Ifthesesoundsaredifferentcheckif;
•Theapplianceisinstalled firmlyasdescribed inthe InstallationManual.
•Theobjectsontheappliancearevibrating.
If thereiswaterinthelowerpart ofthe refrigerator;
Check if;
The drainholefordefrostwaterisnotclogged(use defrostdrainplugtocleanthe
drainhole).
Ifyourfridgeisnotcoolingenough;
Yourfridgeisdesigned tooperateintheambienttemperatureintervalsstatedinthe
standards,accordingtotheclimateclassstatedintheinformationlabel.Wedonotrec-
ommendoperating yourfridgeoutofstatedtemperaturesvalue limitsintermsofcooling
effectiveness.

Recommendations
•Inordertoincrease spaceand improvetheappearance,the“cooling section”of
refrigeratorsispositioned insidethebackwall oftherefrigeratorcompartment.When
thecompressorisworking,thiswall iscoveredwithfrostorwaterdrops.Donot
worry.Thisisquitenormal.The applianceshouldbedefrostedonlyif anexcessively
thick ice layerformsonthebackwall.
•If theapplianceisnotusedforalong time(forexampleduringthesummerholi-
days),setthethermostatknobtoposition“0”.Defrostandcleanthe refrigeratorleav-
ingthedooropen topreventtheformation ofmildewand smell.
