person responsible for their safety or have been instructed in the use of the appliance.
• Children should be supervised in order to make sure that they do not
play with the appliance.

for dry matter, only as a water extractor. Do not use without the lter
bag (1) and the protection lter (2). Incorrect handling will result in the
nullication of the warranty claim.

such a way that it cannot fall into the water, and that it cannot tip.
Wherever possible, position the pond sludge suction cleaner on a level
surface at the height of the water surface, but no lower than the water
level. The lower the suction height, the better the suction performance.
(see g. A + B)
• Do not swim in the water while cleaning is taking place.
• Operate the suction cleaner only in dry weather
• If the pond sludge suction cleaner is not used during the winter months, empty it and store it indoors

Now connect the waste outlet hose into the side connection (bayonet
connection on the pressure side) and position the hose end on
the ground or in a drain.
during the suction process, examine the end of the outlet hose and conrm that the sludge water which is
being extracted is also being pumped out. When only smaller amounts of water are being pumped out, remove
the plug of the dirty the pump from the socket on the suction head. In this way, you will prevent the dirty
pump from being damaged by dry running. To empty the dirty water tank, re-insert the plug of the pump.
Safety information! When pumping out a ooded cellar, ensure that the water which has been pumped out
cannot ow back in again.
Note! To protect the pond sludge suction cleaner, a cut-o switch is installed; when triggered, this stops the
suction power even though the turbine is running.
No/low suction power can have the following causes:
– the lter bag is full of dirt. Open the zip at the side of the lter bag, and empty/clean the lter bag.
– the dirty water pump has not been plugged in.
– the dirty water pump is blocked at the intake opening. Check the lter bag for damage. Disconnect the pond
sludge suction cleaner from the mains, and clean the dirty water tank and the pump.
– the outlet hose is blocked. Examine and clean the hose end.
– the head pressure is too great for the pump; the waste outlet hose is pointing upwards.
– the suction hose is blocked, e.g. by a stone or weed.
– the suction height is too large. Place the pond sludge suction cleaner in a lower position, but never lower
than the water level (this creates the risk of self-priming and therefore of ooding, as well as leakage from the
pond sludge suction cleaner). The pond sludge suction cleaner may be positioned no more than 80 cm higher
than the waterlevel of the pond. (see g. B)
– the protection lter below the suction head is blocked with dirt. Remove, and wash carefully.

Starting suction cleaning
Start up the pond suction cleaner with the on/o
switch and hold the suction hose together with the
telescopic rod and the suction attachments under the
water. The dirty water can then be sucked out and
continuously pumped o. Pay attention to the end of
the outlet hose. If no water is discharged after approx.
30 sec., then switch o the device for about 1 min.,
and restart the suction operation. From time to time
