IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
• All components need to be installed in accordance with the user
manual instructions for correct per formance of unit.
READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE OPERATION OF THE UNIT
•This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children)
with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of
experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision
or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible
for their safety.
• Children should be supervised to ensure they do not play with the
appliance.
• Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the
appliance malfunctions, or has been damaged in any manner.
• If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the
manufacturer, its ser vice agent or similarly qualified persons in order
to avoid a hazard.
• To protect against risk electric shock and personal injury, do not
immerse cord, plugs, or appliance in water or other liquids.
• Fully unwind the power cord before use. Connect only to 220V/240V
power outlet.
• This appliance should be used in conjunction with a safety switch.
• If an extension cord is used with this unit, the extension cord must
have a rating equal to the rating of this appliance.
• Unplug the power cord when not in use.
• Do not use attachments not recommended or sold by the
manufacturer as it may lead to fire, electric shock or injur y.
• Position the appliance a minimum distance of 20cm away from walls,
curtains and other appliances and provide adequate space above and
on all sides for air circulation. Do not place in direct sunlight.
• The product is for indoor, normal household use only.
• Do not use appliance for other than intended purpose.
• Operate unit on a stable level flat surface, keep away from moving
parts. Ensure surface is clean and free from water etc.
• Do not place the unit near the edge of a bench or table
during operation.
• Do not use other liquids to make the ice-cubes other than water.
• Only clean unit with warm soapy water and a soft cloth
and rinse thoroughly.
• The Ice maker should not be inclined more than 45°. Do not turn
the ice maker upside down as this may damage the compressor and
sealed system.
• Do not install the Ice maker near an oven, radiator, or any other heat
source.
• Before using the Ice maker for the first time, please wait
2 hours after positioning it, and keep the front lid open for
at least 2 hours.
• It is normal for the compressor and condenser surface to reach
temperatures between 70°C and 90°C during operation and the
surrounding areas may be ver y hot. Do not touch these
surfaces.

Before Use of your Ice Maker
1. Remove all packing material and carefully check your ice maker
to ensure it is in good condition and that there is no damage to
the ice maker or power cord and plug.
2. The Ice maker should be placed on a level surface. To ensure
proper ventilation for your ice maker allow 20cm of space
at the top, the back and on each side. Do not install the Ice
maker near an oven, radiator, in direct sunlight or any other
heat source.

3. Before using the Ice maker for the first time, please open the
lid and wait 2 hours after positioning it to allow compressor
liquid to settle.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Plug unit into appropriate electrical outlet. Ensure that the unit
is placed on a properly leveled surface.
2. Open the lid and pour water into the water reservoir, ensuring
that the water level in the water reservoir is not over the ice
collecting basket.
(Refer to fig. 1).
Note: Fill with potable, municipal water only. Only use drinking water.
3. Close the lid and select desired ice cube
size by pressing ‘SELECT’
Note: Please select the ‘S’ Small if ambient
temperature is below 15°C.
4. Press START button to start the ice making cycle.
Note: For the first three cycles, the ice may be small
and irregular in size.
5. Periodically check water tank level to ensure there is sufficient
water. Water pump will automatically stop if water tank is
empty and the ‘REFILL WATER’ indicator light will switch on.
When this occurs, remove the ice basket and add water as per
step 2. Press STOP then START to restart the ice maker.

Note: Allow the refrigerant liquid inside the compressor at least 3
minutes to settle before restarting.
6. The ‘ICE FULL’ indicator light will switch on and the unit will
automatically stop making ice when ice basket is full. Press
STOP and then START button to restart the ice maker after
some of the ice has been removed from the ice basket.
Note: Use the metal ice scoop included to gently separate any ice
cubes that are stuck together.
Note: Always use fresh water before starting ice production, either
at initial installation or after a long shut-off period to maintain
reasonable hygiene levels. Once you have finished using the
machine any remaining ice or water should be removed and the
unit cleaned.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Before carrying out any maintenance or cleaning of the unit, make
sure that the power to the unit is turned off and power cord is
unplugged from the power socket.
External cleaning of the unit:
• Do not clean unit with any abrasive cleaning agents or solvents.
• Use a damp cloth to wipe down the outside of the unit. Do not
immerse unit in water.
• Dry unit with a soft dry cloth.
Internal cleaning of the unit:
• When cleaning, unplug the unit and remove any remaining ice
cubes.
• Clean the internal par ts (ice basket, water tank, evaporator etc.)
frequently.
• Wipe down the interior of the unit using a soft cloth. Be sure to
scrub it well to ensure any build-up is removed. You are welcome
to use a small amount of vinegar to help further clean any
impurities.
• Clean the water temperature sensor (located at the base of the
water reservoir) at least once a week (Refer to fig. 2)

Running a Cleaning Cycle:
Running a cleaning cycle is recommended before using the unit for
the first time as it helps to remove any plastic taste leftover from
the manufacturing process.
1. Run a cleaning cycle by adding water into the water reservoir
and adding several drops of vinegar into the water.
2. Make ice for several batches and discard the ice.
3. Empty any remaining water from the water reservoir
4. Add clean, drinking water into the water reservoir and make ice
for several batches and discard the ice. This is to ensure any
leftover vinegar or impurities have been completely removed
from the machine.
5. Drain all the water from the water reservoir.
It is recommended that the unit is sanitised using Aquaport
Universal Cleaner, Sanitiser and Descaler (product code AQP-LSAN)
every 6 months.

TROUBLE SHOOTING

The compressor works
abnormally with a buzzing noise
The voltage is lower than recommended
Stop the Ice maker and do not restart until the voltage is normal

There is insufficient water in the water

Press the STOP button, fill with water, wait 3 minutes and
press the start button to restart. When the water has
reached the fill line the ice maker will restart automatically
The water pump is full of air Remove the silicon stopper in the bottom of the reservoir
and let several drops of water run out
Ice making cycle is normal
but no ice formed
Room temperature or water temperature in
inner tank is too high
The room temperature should be 10-35°C, water
temperature should be 8-32°C
Refrigerant in cooling system has leaked Contact Customer Service
Pipe in cooling system is blocked Contact Customer Service
The ICE FULL and REFILL
WATER light are both

Press the STOP button, turn off power supply and
disconnect the power cord. Clear the ice cube from under
the ice shovel. Reconnect power to the unit then press the
START button, within two minutes the machine will restart
automatically.
Machine keeps running,
but the water is warmer
than the normal water

Aquaport warrants this appliance to the first purchaser and
subject to the stated conditions:
Warranty covers any defects in material or workmanship in the
manufactured product within the first twelve months from date
of purchase.
To make a warranty claim you must call Aquaport on toll free
number 1300 764 325 for instructions.
Product will be repaired or replaced at our discretion. Repair or
replacement costs will be covered under warranty by Aquaport.
Goods presented for repair may be replaced by refurbished goods
of the same type rather then being repaired. Refurbished parts
may be used for the repair of goods.
The benefits given to you by this warranty are in addition to other
rights and remedies of the consumer law in relation to the goods
or services to which this warranty relates.
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under
the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement
or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other
reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if
goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not
amount to a major failure.

2. The warranty extends only to repairing or replacing any
component that proves to be defective in material or
workmanship.

purpose.
4. The warranty does not cover damage to the product caused by
accident, fire or floods.
5. Proof of purchase is required for warranty claims.
6. This unit is for household use only and warranty is not
extended to units used for commercial purposes
