・This Manual covers important points for safe and correct operation.
We request all the users/dealers/distributors to read this Manual
carefully and understand correctly, before this product is used
(Incorrect operation may result in troubles and/or accident.)

・In case the used liquid touches the body or skin:
In case the used liquid touches the body or skin, or is mistakenly drunk, immediately
take care properly, according to liquid manual, or contact a doctor.

・Be sure to use the product at “No Fire” zone:
Be sure the product to be earthed, before the operation.
When the explosive liquid is used, or operated at hazardous area,static electricity may
cause the fire.

・This Pump is designed for a drum pump.
Do not use for any other applications than a drum pump.
・The used drum pump should be higher grade than No.1-M Class, or
No.2-H class specified in JIS (Japan Industrial Standard).
If not, a drum can may be damaged or exploded by too strong air pressure. (thicker
than 1.2mm)

Always wear the protectives, according to the liquid manual.
・Do not disassemble or regulate the device.
Doing so permanently invalidates the warranty.
Regulator and safety valve are already adjusted, so please never disassemble or
adjust.
Service (repair) related matters are restricted to experts.

・Always use new liquid:
Whenever the liquid is changed, be sure to wipe previous
liquid out, completely wash away, and then apply new liquid.
Once some liquids are mixed together, chemical reaction may be generated.

・Acceptable liquid temperature:
Acceptable liquid temperature is between 0℃～60℃.

・Inspection and Repair service are available:
In case the product accidentally stops its operation, or anything abnormal is found,
immediately stop the operation, and contact sales shops or service shops to inspect
and/or repair. If such a product is continuously operated, it may cause any kind of
accident or injuries.

・Do not shock the product:
Do not shock the product. Otherwise, normal operation may be disturbed, or may
cause any kind of trouble or leakage.

・Do not let the head of hose get in the liquid, during the discharging time.
Be sure not to let the head of hose get into the liquid, while the liquidis discharged.
When little liquid is left, the liquid may be come out together with the air.

・Reduce the pressure in a drum can as low as atmospheric pressure
Be sure to close air valve, when the work is finished.
Turn Switch Lever to Sucking Position (IN) to reduce the air pressure in a drum can
as low as atmospheric pressure, refer to Photo-1 and -2 attached.
・The liquid may come out, just before the liquid becomes full.

・Make sure completely to take the liquid in a pump out, after used
In case the liquid remains, it may cause the rust or trouble on the product.

・Completely take the water content in the air out.
When the liquid is taken care, also be sure to take water content in the pressed air
out by air-filter (separately sold) etc.
Recommendable air-filter Model: CKD F1000-8-W (at your request)

・APDX1-25 is the product for indoor operation only.
In case this product is used outside, be sure to apply the cover to protect wind
and/or rain, or keep in a hut.

・Always use the compressor with higher than 3HP (0.4～0.6MPa).

・The liquid may come out, just before the liquid becomes full.

・Always use the hose thicker than 3/8.
Otherwise, the pressure power may be reduced, reducing the performance.

・The installers/sellers of this product are requested to pass this
Manual to the person in charge of operation.
Be sure to use compressor with 5Hp or higher（0.4～0.6MPa）.

How to use：
①Firmly fix adapter (for drum can) to the mouth piece(G2) on a drum can.
(Apply the attached special tool）
②Firmly fix sucking pipe into adapter, and keep pushing downward until it stops. (Apply
the attached special tool)
③Firmly fix pressing put (Apply the attached special tool)
④Seal ventilation mouth on a drum can (Smaller mouth placed on a top plate).
⑤Close air valve (Turn the lever horizontally)【RefertoPhoto-1】
⑥Close ball valve (for discharging/sucking) (Turn to the right angles to nozzle)
⑦Connect the air hose from compressor to air valve(20PM)
Dia.of air hose should be larger than 3/8 inches.
⑧This pump can be operated with the supplying air pressure of 0.4～0.6MPa.
⑨Choose the switching lever either for sucking (IN) or discharging (OUT).

Keep turning until it firmly stops. If not, it may cause unusual pressure, which may
make some problem.
⑩Open air-valve, and supply the compressed air to the pump
⑪Under the above condition, if the ball valve placed at nozzle side is opened, in case the
lever is at “IN” position, the pump starts sucking the liquid, and once it becomes full of
liquid, the floating ball automatically stops sucking.
In case the lever is at “OUT” position, the pump starts discharging the liquid.
And, in case a drum can is empty, air mixed with very little liquid comes out.
⑫Close ball valve to prevent reverse flow, in case of “IN” position.
⑬Close air valve.
⑭In case the lever is at “OUT” position, after the work is completed, after air valve is
closed, air-bleeding from a drum can must be executed with switch-lever.
(In air-bleeding is executed under “OUT” position, air is discharged which makes the
pressure condition in a can to be atmospheric.)
⑮Occasionally, take the sucking pipe out from a drum can, and wash it.
⑯Air adjusting thread is attached.
Use it, in case sucking power is not strong enough.
You can replace with hexagon socket wrench (Atwo surface width：4mm)

Maintenance & Inspection：
⚫Strainer is placed in air-valve for cleaning the clogged rubbish.
⚫Floating ball is kept in a ditch of main product.
Always keep it clean to work smoothly.
Unless it does not work smoothly, it may make the liquid get out from ejector.

In the below case happens,
During the operation, when any unusual case happens, immediately stop the operation.
Please carefully check, in any of the below cases happens.
In case of "Discharging (OUT)",
No
Discharging
at all
If any foreign material is clogged in sucking pipe or hose.
If the compressed air is firmly connected.
If a drum can is completely sealed.
If a drum can and/or hose is not damaged.
If air valve and/or discharging valve is fully opened.
Discharging
Volume is
too small
If any foreign material is clogged in sucking pipe.
If the pressure in a drum can is too low.
Make sure of the pressure with gauge (Specified Pressure: 0.025MPa)
If the pressure of compressed air is not too low.
If the valve is fully open
If switching lever is turned enough, until it is stopped at "OUT" position.
If strainer is properly kept clean.
If the viscosity of liquid is too high.
A drum can is
deformed
If the pressure in a drum can is too high.
Make sure of the pressure with gauge(Specified Pressure: 0.025MPa)
If a drum can is strong enough.(Please read warning items on Safety
Clause in Operation Manual.
In case of "Sucking (IN)",
No sucking
at all
If any foreign material is clogged in sucking pipe or hose.
If compressed air is firmly connected.

Discharging

If the viscosity of liquid is too high.
A drum can is

If the pressure in a drum can is too high. Make sure of the pressure with gauge.
(Specified Pressure should be less than 0.6MPa)
If a drum can is strong enough.

Assurance･After Service：
Thank you for choosing our product. Our product is produced strictly under our regulations and
quality control. However, if any of the Defects, related with our production processes, is found,
our assurance Covers, according to the below limitation.
1. To repair:
To order the parts or request for repair, prepare to inform us Part No., Mfg No., the
purchased date with the receipt and then contact the purchased shop.
2. Within 12 months after the purchased date, if the below case* happens, we will repair it at
free of charge.
Despite of regular maintenance and/or inspection specified in Manual, if the trouble or
damage happens due to the defect of our design or assembling, within 12 months from
the purchased date.
However, we are not responsible for all and any expenses or other damages related with
the above trouble and/or damage due to the defect of the product.
When the free repair is taken care, if the part replacement is judged necessary by us, as
the consumables, the expenses for such replaced parts shall be borne by the user.
3. If the assurance period of 12 months is over, or the above assurance condition does not meet
even within the assurance period of 12 months, the repairing expenses shall not be covered
by us, but borne by the user.
(Also, in case our product is applied to other manufacturer’s product, we take no
responsibility and our assurance cannot be applied)
4. In any case, delivery cost both to us and from us shall be borne by the user/customers.
5. Exception from our responsibility (even within 12 months from purchased date)
①Any problems, due to wrong handling (not following our Manual)
②Any problems, due to repair, disassemble or remodel by a third party.
③Any problems, due to improper storing or improper maintenance.
④Any problem, without evidence to show the purchase of our product, such as invoice or
receipt etc.
⑤Unusual part consumption, due to heavy uses.
Contact the below for any question/request on the repair or after-service within assurance
period.
