MAINTENANCE : A regularly scheduled maintenance program should be established to retain optimum light
output and reduce heat retention. Dusting with a soft, clean, dry cloth is normally sufficient for the optics.
CAUTION : All wiring must be done by a qualified electrician. KEEP THIS SHEET FOR FUTURE REFERENCE.
Examine all parts that are not intended to be replaced by the retrofit kit for damage, and replace any damaged parts
prior to installation of the unit.

REMOVE EXISTING REFLECTOR ASSEMBLY
TURN OFF ALL POWER TO
THE UNIT AND TAKE
PROPER SAFETY PRECAUTIONS.
FAILURE TO DO SO MAY RESULT
IN SERIOUS PERSONAL INJURY.

1. Open lower lens frame of the housing by
undoing (2) captive thumb screws located on
underside of fixture and swinging door frame
open as shown in Fig. 1-1 & Fig. 1-1A.
2. Allow door frame assembly to hang freely
as shown in Fig. 1-2
3. Remove existing reflector assembly by
prying housing from fixture. Existing reflector
assembly is held via ball socket studs as
shown in Fig. 1-3.
4. Disconnect reflector assembly and set
aside as shown in Fig. 1-4

REMOVE EXISTING BALLAST ASSEMBLY
1. Locate locking pin on ballast
plate as shown in Fig. 2-1 & 2.1A.
2. Loosen locking pin by turning it
counter clockwise until stopped as
shown in Fig. 2-1A. Do not
disengage.

3. Turn handle counter clockwise until range
of rotation stops as shown in Fig. 2-2 and
pull existing ballast assembly out.
4. Once removed, disconnect and discard
existing ballast into E-waste.

DISASSEMBLE DOME AND HOOD
1. Remove the hood by unscrewing (4)
1/4-20 hex bolts as shown in Fig. 3-1.
2. Save the hood, dome, (4) 1/4-20 hex
bolts and (4) washers for later use. Discard
everything else.

3. Detach the dome and hood as shown in
Fig. 3-2.

REMOVE TOP DOME RING

1. Remove top dome ring by unscrewing (2) 8-32 1/2in screws
as shown in Fig. 4-1 and discard the related hardware. 2. Peel off the existing gasket as shown in Fig. 4-2 and replace
with the new (provided) gasket.

1. Attach the hood to the dome by (4) provided Z-brackets, (4)
previously saved 1/4-20 hex bolts and washers as shown in
Fig. 5-1.
2. Assemble the hood ring by (4) provided 1/4-20 1/2" button
head screws and (4) washers as shown in Fig. 5-2.

2. Connect green "C" to fixture ground lead "C" as shown in Fig.
7-2.
3. Connect flying driver assembly green lead "D" to fixture
ground "D" as shown in Fig. 6-2.

1. Determine street side and align optical array
direction accordingly. Look for light pattern label
(Fig. 8-1A) for LED direction.

2. Connect MicroCore
assembly and driver
assembly as shown in Fig.
8-2.

3. Drop the MicroCore deck
assembly into fixture housing
by aligning the safety brackets
and the cut out on hood ring as
shown in Fig. 8-2.
4. Rotate the MicroCore assembly clockwise until
stopped. At this time, the (4) mounting holes on
hood ring should line up with those on MicroCore
deck. The fixture is oriented properly to street side.

4. Once everything is lined up, attach the MicroCore
assembly to the hood by (4) provided 1/4-20 button
head screws and (4) O-rings as shown in Fig. 8-4.
