1. Mounting the ATS
Horizontal Installation
•Choose a suitable installation location for the ATS which occupies 1 or 2 RMU rack
space. Insert cage nuts on each EIA vertical mounting rail in your rack.
•Align the bracket’s mounting holes with the cage nuts. Insert and tighten the screws.
2. Safety Instructions
Read the following instructions carefully before installation or operation of this product.
•This device is for indoor use. Keep away from excessive heat or humidity.
•Check that the device marked nominal voltage is the same as the service voltage in the
country or region of use. Non-conformity of rated voltages is strictly prohibited.
•Check that the maximum power consumption of the IT equipment load is less than the
rated maximum power output of this device.
•When installing, do not install the equipment during a lightning storm or in a damp
environment. Place the equipment on a stable, level surface to prevent accidental
falling or damage of equipment or injury to persons nearby.
•Organize the power cord in such a way that others won’t trip or fall over it.
•Check to ensure the supply line properly grounded. Power cord, plug and socket
shall be in good condition.
•Keep all liquids away from the equipment. Liquid spilled on the power supply or on
the other hardware may cause damage, fire or electrical shock.
•Observe all precautions and warning attached to the equipment.

•If the device is not in use for an extended period, disconnect it from the power outlet
to protect it from transient over-voltages.
•If any part of the equipment becomes damaged or stops functioning, have it checked
by a qualified service person.
•Any unauthorized dismantling of the equipment is strictly prohibited. ArcTiv
Technologies, LLC is not responsible for any damages resulting from unauthorized
dismantling.
3. Warranty
ArcTiv Technologies, LLC warrants the equipment to be free from any defects in material and
workmanship for a period of 2 years from the date of purchase. Its obligation under this
warranty is limited to repairing or replacing, at its sole options, any such defective equipment.
This warranty does not apply to equipment that has been damaged by accident, negligence
or misapplication or has been altered or modified in any way.
4. Technical Service
For your defective equipment:
•Contact your local dealer for technical support and note the specification, batch
number, serial number and date of purchase.
•Call customer support for authorized sales and service center for local support.
5. General Policies
Reproduction in whole or in part without permission is prohibited. Logo’s and patents here
in mentioned are registered within respective jurisdictions. All other trademarks, product
names and corporate names are the property of their respective owners and are used for
informational purposes only.
