. Use
.1 Initial set up of the shower
1. Turn the handle to FULL ON HOT position.
NOTE: Filling in the water with the handle on the “full on hot” position ensures no air pockets
are trapped in shower.
2. Attach garden hose to hose connector. Turn on water suppl to the garden hose to fill the
shower. It will take 4-6 minutes to fill up the shower.
3. When water flows from shower head, turn handle off. Turning the handle off makes the
water begin to heat up in the tubes.
4. Depending on the sunlight and outside temperature, the shower will take about two hours to
full heat up water.
5. Water temperature in shower can reach up to 60°C in strong sunshine.
WARNING: To avoid scald, pa attention to turn the handle to COOL WATER (blue) position
before using the shower. Then set to desired temperature.
.2 Notes on use
Attention: If ou have not used the solar shower for more than 3 da s, we recommend that
ou run the water for 2 minutes before use to replace the water in the solar tank. Standing
water in a warm environment can be a centre for dangerous bacteria!
Attention: Standing water in the tank no longer corresponds to drinking water qualit !
Caution: The water in the solar tank can become hot due to sunlight. We therefore
recommend that the cold/warm single-lever mixer tap is alwa s positioned in the middle
position (between hot and cold) at the beginning. Then it can be turned to the desired
temperature.
1. Turn the cold/warm single-lever mixer tap to the "ON" position and ou can enjo our
"solar" heated water. Note: The water suppl must be turned on for the shower to work.
2. turn off the water suppl to the shower when ou are finished.
.3 After use
The shower does not have an aqua-stop. Accordingl , the suppl must be turned off after
use.
. Winterization
1. Turn off and disconnect garden hose.
2. Open the handle to “full on hot” position and allow water to drain from hose connector
(approximatel 8-10 minutes).
NOTE: Do not tough or turn handle while draining the water, otherwise water will stop
draining out.
3. Turn locking ring counter clockwise to unthread upper tube and lower tube.
4. Unbolt lower tube and pour remaining water out of the tube.
5. Clean and dr the shower parts.
6. Store the shower indoors in a dr place during winter season. Prevent the shower from
frostbite.
NOTE:
Do not use salt or other anti-freezing methods.
Recommended water pressure: 3.5 bars.
