Preparing your monitor
WARNING:
Do not power the monitor on before installing the antennas as damage
may occur that is not covered by the warranty.
1. Begin by attaching the two 5.8GHz antennas to the appropriate
threads and ensure they are screwed in firmly. Power for the unit is
supplied by an internal Li-Po battery which must be fully charged
before use.
2. To activate the screen, press and hold the On/Off button (on the
right side) for 3 seconds. The blue LED will illuminate.
3. Your monitor will now automatically scan the channels for a video
signal.
Charging the internal Li-Po battery
Charge the internal battery using the optional Power Adapter. Connect
the Adapter to a power point and then to the ‘DC IN’ socket of your
monitor. During charging the right LED (next to the Power Button)
flashes red. The LED shuts off when charging is complete. You may
also charge the internal battery via an external Li-Po battery. This
battery should be at least 7.4 volts with a capacity of 2000mAh.
Please note that damages resulting from improper use or connection
of an unsuitable power source are not covered under warranty.
Carry out charging operations carefully and with full knowledge of
the battery chemistry, the correct charging regime, and potential
risks involved. Make sure that the power source used has sufficient
capacity to undertake the task.
