Safety
Safety Instructions
•Unplug this product from the wall outlet before
cleaning. Do not use this product near water or
moisture. Do not spill liquids on the product. Clean
only with a dry cloth.
•Place the unit on a solid surface.
•Do not put it in a closed bookcase or a cabinet that
may keep air from flowing through its ventilation
openings.
•Do not install near any heat sources, such as
radiators, heat registers, stoves or other appliances
that produce heat.
•Protect the power cord from being walked on or
pinched, particularly at plugs and the point where they
exit from the product.
•During Lightning storms, unplug the product from the
power source or if unused for long periods of time.
This will prevent lightning and power-line surge
damage to the product.
•Do not attempt to service this product yourself.
Opening or removing covers may expose you to
dangerous voltages or other hazards. Please contact
the manufacturer to be referred to an authorized
service center near you.
•Do not overload wall outlets, extension cords, or
integral power circuits as this can result in a risk of fire
or electric shock.
•Never push any object through the product openings,
as this can result in fire, electric shock or damage.
•Use proper power sources. Plug the product into a
proper power source, as described in the operating
instructions or as marked on the product.
If there is a Lightning flash with an arrow head
on the product, it’s intended to alert the User
of the presence of un-insulated “dangerous
voltage” within the product, that might be of
sufficient magnitude to constitute a risk of
electric shock to persons.
If there is an Exclamation point on the
product, it’s intended to alert the User that
there is important operating and maintenance
(servicing) information in the User manual.
If there is a double rectangular symbol on the
product, it means that the product is double
insulated. Earth connection is not required.

Quick start
Start up
1. Connect the Antenna and place it in a position
that allows optimal reception of stations.
2. Plug the Power supply into an electric outlet and
into the back of the Adapter.
3. The Adapter will start searching for DAB stations
automatically. This may take a few minutes and
the progress will be shown in the display.
4. Once finished searching, the Adapter will start
playing the first found station.
Basic Operating
1. Notice; All operations on the Adapter are done via
the remote control.
2. Stations can be chosen by pressing the “arrows”.
3. Once the prefer station is found press the “select”
button and the chosen station will start playing.
4. To store a station on one of the 1-6 preset
buttons, press and hold the wished preset button
for 3 sec., while playing the station that you want
to store.
5. When stored, the display will show “Preset X
saved”
6. To tune stations press and hold the “autotune”
button for 3 sec. and the Adapter will scan for
available stations..
Other Operating functions
1. Sleep function is activated by pressing the
“Sleep” button and the display will indicate “Set
Sleep time”. Press the “Sleep” button to select the
sleep time period. Confirm by pressing the
“Select” button.
2. Alarm function is activated by pressing the “Alarm”
button and the display will indicate “Alarm 1 setup”.
Press the “Select” button to select ON mode. Use the
arrow buttons to choose your settings. Once a setting
is made, confirm by pressing “Select” button.
Continue the same way with the other settings, such
as alarm sound source, alarm level, daily/week-end
etc. After about 10 sec. the display will return to main
display by itself. Activated alarm will be indicated at
the bottom of the display by a small clock icon.
3. Pressing the “Snooze/Mute” button will terminate
and/or activate the sound
4. The “Info” button will show different display
information upon pressing it continuously.
5. Pressing the “Menu” button will bring you into the
Adapters menu settings. Use the “arrows” to scroll
through the “Menu” options. Use the “Select” button
to enter the wanted “Menu” setting.
