! Âàæíî ñîõðàíèòü äàííîå ðóêîâîäñòâî äëÿ åãî
ïîñëåäóþùèõ êîíñóëüòàöèé.  ñëó÷àå ïðîäàæè,
ïåðåäà÷è èçäåëèÿ èëè ïðè ïåðååçäå íà íîâóþ
êâàðòèðó íåîáõîäèìî ïðîâåðèòü, ÷òîáû ðóêîâîäñòâî
îñòàâàëîñü âìåñòå ñ èçäåëèåì, äëÿ òîãî ÷òîáû åãî
íîâûé âëàäåëåö ìîã îçíàêîìèòüñÿ ñ ïðàâèëàìè
ýêñïëóàòàöèè è ñ ñîîòâåòñòâóþùèìè
ïðåäóïðåæäåíèÿìè.

Ðàñïîëîæåíèå
1. Óñòàíîâèòå èçäåëèå â ñóõîì ïîìåùåíèè ñ õîðîøåé
âåíòèëÿöèåé.
2. Íå çàêðûâàéòå çàäíèå âåíòèëÿöèîííûå ðåøåòêè
èçäåëèÿ: êîìïðåññîð è êîíäåíñàòîð âûðàáàòûâàþò
òåïëî, è äëÿ èõ èñïðàâíîãî ôóíêöèîíèðîâàíèÿ è
ýêîíîìèè ýëåêòðîýíåðãèè òðåáóåòñÿ õîðîøàÿ
âåíòèëÿöèÿ.
Ýëåêòðè÷åñêîå ïîäñîåäèíåíèå
Ïîñëå äîñòàâêè èçäåëèÿ óñòàíîâèòå åãî â
âåðòèêàëüíîå ïîëîæåíèå è ïîäîæäèòå íå ìåíåå 3
÷àñîâ ïåðåä åãî ïîäñîåäèíåíèåì ê ñåòè
ýëåêòðîïèòàíèÿ. Ïåðåä ïîäñîåäèíåíèåì âèëêè
èçäåëèÿ ê ýëåêòðè÷åñêîé ðîçåòêå íåîáõîäèìî
ïðîâåðèòü ñëåäóþùåå:
 ýëåêòðè÷åñêàÿ ðîçåòêà äîëæíà áûòü ñîåäèíåíà ñ
çàçåìëåíèåì è ñîîòâåòñòâîâàòü íîðìàòèâàì;;
 ýëåêòðè÷åñêàÿ ðîçåòêà äîëæíà áûòü ðàñ÷èòàíà íà
ìàêñèìàëüíóþ ìîùíîñòü èçäåëèÿ, óêàçàííóþ íà
òàáëè÷êå ñ òåõíè÷åñêèìè õàðàêòåðèñòèêàìè,
ðàñïîëîæåííîé â ëåâîì íèæíåì óãëó âíóòðè
õîëîäèëüíîé êàìåðû (íàïðèìåð, 150 Âò);
 íàïðÿæåíèå ýëåêòðîïèòàíèÿ äîëæíî áûòü â
ïðåäåëàõ, óêàçàííûõ íà òàáëè÷êå ñ òåõíè÷åñêèìè
õàðàêòåðèñòèêàìè, ðàñïîëîæåííîé â ëåâîì íèæíåì
óãëó âíóòðè õîëîäèëüíîé êàìåðû (íàïðèìåð, 220-
240 Â);
 ýëåêòðè÷åñêàÿ ðîçåòêà äîëæíà áûòü ñîâìåñòèìà ñ
âèëêîé èçäåëèÿ.
 ïðîòèâíîì ñëó÷àå ïîðó÷èòå çàìåíó âèëêè
èçäåëèÿ óïîëíîìî÷åííîìó òåõíèêó (ñì.
Îáñëóæèâàíèå); íå èñïîëüçóéòå óäëèíèòåëè è
òðîéíèêè.
! Èçäåëèå äîëæíî áûòü óñòàíîâëåíî òàêèì îáðàçîì,
÷òîáû ýëåêòðè÷åñêèé ïðîâîä è ýëåêòðîðîçåòêà áûëè
ëåãêî äîñòóïíû.
! Ýëåêòðè÷åñêèé ïðîâîä èçäåëèÿ íå äîëæåí áûòü
ñîãíóò èëè ñæàò.
! Ðåãóëÿðíî ïðîâåðÿéòå ñîñòîÿíèå ïðîâîäà
ýëåêòðîïèòàíèÿ è ïðè íåîáõîäèìîñòè ïîðó÷àéòå åãî
çàìåíó òîëüêî óïîëíîìî÷åííûì òåõíèêàì (ñì.

Âêëþ÷åíèå èçäåëèÿ
! Ïåðåä òåì êàê âêëþ÷èòü èçäåëèå ñëåäóéòå
èíñòðóêöèÿì ïî óñòàíîâêå (ñì. Óñòàíîâêà).
! Ïåðåä ïîäñîåäèíåíèåì èçäåëèÿ ê ñåòè
ýëåêòðîïèòàíèÿ òùàòåëüíî âûìîéòå êàìåðûè è
àêñåññóàðû òåïëûì ñîäîâûì ðàñòâîðîì.
1. Âñòàâüòå âèëêó â ýëåêòðîðîçåòêó è ïðîâåðüòå, ÷òîáû
â êàìåðå çàãîðåëàñü ëàìïî÷êà âíóòðåííåãî
îñâåùåíèÿ.
2. Óñòàíîâèòå ðóêîÿòêó ÐÅÃÓËßÒÎÐÀ ÒÅÌÏÅÐÀÒÓÐÛ
íà ñðåäíåå çíà÷åíèå. Ïî ïðîøåñòâèè íåñêîëüêèõ
÷àñîâ âû ìîæåòå ïîìåñòèòü ïðîäóêòû â
õîëîäèëüíèê.
Ðåãóëÿöèÿ òåìïåðàòóðû
Ðåãóëÿöèÿ òåìïåðàòóðû âíóòðè õîëîäèëüíîé êàìåðû
îñóùåñòâëÿåòñÿ àâòîìàòè÷åñêè â çàâèñèìîñòè îò
ïîëîæåíèÿ ðóêîÿòêè òåðìîñòàòà.
1 = áîëåå âûñîêàÿ òåìïåðàòóðà
5 = áîëåå íèçêàÿ òåìïåðàòóðà
Ðåêîìåíäóåòñÿ â ëþáîì ñëó÷àå óñòàíîâèòü òåðìîñòàò
íà ñðåäíåå çíà÷åíèå.
Äëÿ óâåëè÷åíèÿ ïîëåçíîãî îáúåìà êàìåðû è
óëó÷øåíèÿ ýñòåòè÷åñêîãî âèäà îõëàæäàþùèé ýëåìåíò
äàííîãî èçäåëèÿ ðàñïîëîæåí âíóòðè çàäíåé ïàíåëè
õîëîäèëüíîé êàìåðû. Êîãäà èçäåëèå âêëþ÷åíî, íà
ýòîé ñòåíêå âèäåí íàëåò èíåÿ èëè êàïëè âîäû â
çàâèñèìîñòè îò ðåæèìà ðàáîòû êîìïðåññîðà: ðàáîòà
èëè ïàóçà. Ýòî íå ÿâëÿåòñÿ ïðèçíàêîì íåèñïðàâíîñòè!
Õîëîäèëüíèê ðàáîòàåò èñïðàâíî.

çàäíåé ïàíåëè âíóòðè õîëîäèëüíîé êàìåðû

A.I.R. ãàðàíòèðóåò îòëè÷íóþ ñîõðàííîñòü ïðîäóêòîâ
áëàãîäàðÿ áûñòðîìó âîññòàíîâëåíèþ çàäàííîé
òåìïåðàòóðû ïîñëå îòêðûâàíèÿ äâåðè è îáåñïå÷èâàåò
îäíîðîäíóþ òåìïåðàòóðó âî âñåé õîëîäèëüíîé êàìåðå:
Íàãíåòàåìûé âîçäóõ (À) îõëàæäàåòñÿ, ïîñòóïàÿ â
êîíòàêò ñ õîëîäíîé ñòåíêîé êàìåðû, â òî âðåìÿ êàê
áîëåå òåïëûé âîçäóõ (Â) âûñàñûâàåòñÿ èç êàìåðû (ñì.
ðèñóíîê).
íà âíóòðåííåé çàäíåé ñòåíêå õîëîäèëüíîé êàìåðû
îáðàçóþòñÿ èíåé èëè êàïëè âîäû â çàâèñèìîñòè îò
ðåæèìà ðàáîòû êîìïðåññîðà  ðàáîòà èëè ïàóçà.
Åñëè âû óñòàíîâèòå ðóêîÿòêó ÐÅÃÓËßÒÎÐÀ
ÒÅÌÏÅÐÀÒÓÐÛ íà âûñîêèå çíà÷åíèÿ, ïîìåñòèòå â
õîëîäèëüíèê áîëüøîå êîëè÷åñòâî ïðîäóêòîâ, è
òåìïåðàòóðà îêðóæàþùåé ñðåäû áóäåò âûñîêîé,
õîëîäèëüíèê ìîæåò ðàáîòàòü â íåïðåðûâíîì ðåæèìå, ÷òî
ñïîñîáñòâóåò îáðàçîâàíèþ îáèëüíîãî èíåÿ è
ïîâûøåííîìó ðàñõîäó ýëåêòðîýíåðãèè: ýòîãî ìîæíî
èçáåæàòü, ïîâåðíóâ ðóêîÿòêó íà áîëåå íèçêèå çíà÷åíèÿ
(ïðîèçâîäèòñÿ àâòîìàòè÷åñêîå óäàëåíèå èíåÿ).

Îïòèìàëüíîå èñïîëüçîâàíèå
õîëîäèëüíèêà
 Äëÿ ðåãóëÿöèè òåìïåðàòóðû èñïîëüçóéòå ðóêîÿòêó
ÐÅÃÓËßÒÎÐÀ ÕÎËÎÄÈËÜÍÎÉ ÊÀÌÅÐÛ (ñì. Îïèñàíèå).
 Ïîìåùàéòå â õîëîäèëüíèê òîëüêî õîëîäíûå èëè
åäâà òåïëûå ïðîäóêòû, íî íå ãîðÿ÷èå (ñì.
Ïðåäîñòîðîæíîñòè è ðåêîìåíäàöèè).
 Ïîìíèòå, ÷òî ïðèãîòîâëåííûå ïðîäóêòû õðàíÿòñÿ íå
äîëüøå ñûðûõ.
 Íå ïîìåùàéòå â õîëîäèëüíèê æèäêîñòè â ¸ìêîñòÿõ
áåç êðûøêè: ýòî ïðèâîäèò ê ïîâûøåíèþ âëàæíîñòè
â õîëîäèëüíîé êàìåðå ñ ïîñëåäóþùèì
îáðàçîâàíèåì êîíäåíñàòà.
Îïòèìàëüíîå èñïîëüçîâàíèå
ìîðîçèëüíîé êàìåðû
 Íå çàìîðàæèâàéòå ïîâòîðíî ïîëíîñòüþ èëè
÷àñòè÷íî ðàçìîðîæåííûå ïðîäóêòû, òàê êàê îíè
äîëæíû áûòü ïðèãîòîâëåíû è óïîòðåáëåíû â ïèùó â
òå÷åíèå 24 ÷àñîâ ïîñëå èõ ðàçìîðîçêè.
 Íå ïîìåùàéòå ñâåæèå çàìîðàæèâàåìûå ïðîäóêòû
ðÿäîì ñ óæå çàìîðîæåííûìè. Ïîìåñòèòå ñâåæèå
ïðîäóêòû â âåðõíåå îòäåëåíèå ÇÀÌÎÐÀÆÈÂÀÍÈÅ È
ÕÐÀÍÅÍÈÅ, â êîòîðîì òåìïåðàòóðà íèæå -18°C, ÷òî
ñïîñîáñòâóåò èõ áûñòðîìó çàìîðàæèâàíèþ.
 Íå ïîìåùàéòå â ìîðîçèëüíóþ êàìåðó ãåðìåòè÷íî
çàêðûòûå ñòåêëÿííûå áóòûëêè ñ æèäêîñòüþ, òàê êàê
îíè ìîãóò âçîðâàòüñÿ.
 Íà òàáëè÷êå ñ òåõíè÷åñêèìè õàðàêòåðèñòèêàìè,
ðàñïîëîæåííîé â ëåâîì íèæíåì óãëó õîëîäèëüíîé
êàìåðû, óêàçàí ìàêñèìàëüíûé îáúåì
çàìîðàæèâàåìûõ ïðîäóêòîâ â äåíü (íàïðèìåð: êã/24
÷  4).
! Èçáåãàéòå îòêðûâàíèÿ äâåðè ìîðîçèëüíîé êàìåðû â
ïðîöåññå çàìîðàæèâàíèÿ.
!  ñëó÷àå âíåçàïíîãî îòêëþ÷åíèÿ ýëåêòðîïèòàíèÿ èëè
íåèñïðàâíîñòè íå îòêðûâàéòå äâåðü ìîðîçèëüíîé
êàìåðû: òàêèì îáðàçîì çàìîðîæåííûå ïðîäóêòû
ñîõðàíÿòñÿ áåç âðåäà ïðèìåðíî â òå÷åíèå 9-14 ÷àñîâ.
! Ïðè ïîñòîÿííîå òåìïåðàòóðå ïîìåùåíèÿ íèæå 14°C,
íåâîçìîæíî â ïîëíîé ìåðå äîñòèãíóòü òåìïåðàòóðû,
íåîáõîäèìîé äëÿ äëèòåëüíîãî õðàíåíèÿ â
ìîðîçèëüíîé êàìåðå, ñëåäîâàòåëüíî ñðîê õðàíåíèÿ
ïðîäóêòîâ ñîêðàùàåòñÿ.
Ôîðìà äëÿ ëüäà.
Ðàñïîëîæåíèå ôîðìû â âåðõíåé ÷àñòè ÿùèêîâ
ìîðîçèëüíîé êàìåðû ãàðàíòèðóåò åå áîëüøóþ
ãèãèåíè÷íîñòü (ëåä íå ïîñòóïàåò â êîíòàêò ñ
ïðîäóêòàìè) è ýðãîíîìíîñòü (íå êàïàåò â ïðîöåññå
çàãðóçêè).
1. Ïðîâåðüòå, ÷òîáû ôîðìà áûëà ïîëíîñòüþ
ïîðîæíÿÿ, è çàëåéòå â íåå âîäó ÷åðåç ñïåöèàëüíîå
îòâåðñòèå.
2. Îáðàùàéòå âíèìàíèå, ÷òîáû íå ïðåâûñèòü
ìàêñèìàëüíûé óðîâåíü (MAX WATER LEVEL).
Èçëèøåê âîäû ïðåïÿòñòâóåò âûõîäó êóáèêîâ ëüäà
(åñëè ýòî ïðîèçîéäåò, ïîäîæäèòå, ïîêà ëåä ðàñòàåò
è îïîðîæíèòå ôîðìó).
3. Ïîâåðíèòå ôîðìó íà 90°: âîäà çàïîëíÿåò
îòäåëåíèÿ ïî ïðèíöèïó ñîîáùàþùèõñÿ ñîñóäîâ
(ñì. ðèñóíîê).
4. Çàêðîéòå îòâåðñòèÿ ïðèëàãàþùåéñÿ ïðîáêîé è
âñòàâüòå ôîðìó â äâåðöó ñâåðõó â ñïåöèàëüíîå
ãíåçäî.
5. Ïîñëå îáðàçîâàíèÿ ëüäà (ìèíèìàëüíîå âðåìÿ
ïðèìåðíî 8 ÷àñîâ) ïîñòó÷èòå ôîðìîé ïî ëþáîé
òâåðäîé ïîâåðõíîñòè èëè ïîäñòàâüòå åå ïîä ñòðóþ
âîäû, ÷òîáû îáëåã÷èòü îòñîåäèíåíèå êóáèêîâ ëüäà,
çàòåì âûñûïüòå êóáèêè ÷åðåç îòâåðñòèå.

×èñòêà èçäåëèÿ
 Íàðóæíûå, âíóòðåííèå ýëåìåíòû è ðåçèíîâûå
óïëîòíèòåëè ìîæíî ïðîòèðàòü ãóáêîé, ñìî÷åííîé â
òåïëîì ñîäîâîì ðàñòâîðå èëè â ðàñòâîðå

read these operating instructions carefully. They contain
important information for safe use, for installation and for
care of the appliance.
! Please keep these operating instructions for future
reference. Pass them on to possible new owners of the
appliance.
Positionin and connection
Positioning
1. Place the appliance in a well-ventilated humidity-free
room.
2. o not obstruct the rear fan grills. The compressor and
condenser give off heat and require good 3. Ensure
the appliance is away from any sources of heat (direct
sunlight, electric stove, etc.).
Electrical connections
After the appliance has been transported, carefully place it
vertically and wait at least 3 hours before connecting it to
the electricity mains. Before inserting the plug into the
electrical socket ensure the following:
 The appliance is earthed and the plug is compliant with
the law.
 The socket can withstand the maximum power of the
appliance, which is indicated on the data plate located on
the bottom left side of the fridge (e.g. 150 W).
 The voltage must be in the range between the values
indicated on the data plate located on the bottom left
side (e.g. 220-240V).
 The socket is compatible with the plug of the appliance.
If the socket is incompatible with the plug, ask an
authorised technician to replace it (see Assistance). o
not use extension cords or multiple sockets.
! Once the appliance has been installed, the power supply
cable and the electrical socket must be easily accessible.
! The cable must not be bent or compressed.
! The cable must be checked regularly and replaced by
authorised technicians only (see Assistance).

Start-up and use

Startin the appliance
! Before starting the appliance, follow the
installation instructions (see Installation).
! Before connecting the appliance, clean the
compartments and accessories well with lukewarm water
and bicarbonate.
1. Insert the plug into the socket and ensure that the
internal light illuminates.
2. Turn the TEMPERATURE ADJUSTMENT knob to an
average value. After a few hours ou will be able to put
food in the refrigerator.
Settin the temperature
The temperature inside the refrigerator compartment
automaticall adjusts itself according to the position of the
thermostat knob.
1 = warmest 5 = coldest
We recommend, however, a medium position.
The cooling section of the refrigerator is located inside the
back wall of the refrigerator compartment for increased
space and improved aesthetics. During operation, the
back wall will be covered in frost or water droplets
depending on whether the compressor is operating or
paused. Do not worr , the refrigerator is functioning
normall .
Chiller system
A.I.R. SYSTEM (Ariston Integrated Refrigeration)
It is recognizable due to the presence of the mechanism
on the top part of the refrigerator compartment (see
diagram).

The
A.I.R. S stem maintains a constant fridge temperature to
keep food fresher for longer and will quickl restore the
temperature to the correct level, even if the door is
opened frequentl : the blown air (A) is cooled when it
comes into contact with the cold wall, whereas the hotter
air (B) is sucked up (see diagram).
The back wall ma be covered in frost or droplets of
water, depending on whether the compressor is in
operation or whether it is paused.
If the TEMPERATURE ADJUSTMENT knob has been set
on high values with large quantities of food and with a
high ambient temperature, the appliance can operate
continuousl , resulting in excessive frost formation and
excessive energ consumption: compensate for this b
shifting the knob towards lower values (defrosting will
occur automaticall ).
SHELVES: with or without grill.
Due to the special guides the
shelves are removable and the
height is adjustable (see
diagram), allowing eas storage
of large containers and food.
Height can be adjusted without
complete removal of the shelf.
MULTI-USE bin: to store food
(such as cold meats) for a long
time and also prevent odours
from lingering in the refrigerator.
It can be removed for use and it
ma be shifted sidewa s to
optimise space (see diagram).
BOTTLE RACK/ CAN RACK flap door: to store a bottle
or several cans horizontall (see diagram). When not in
use, close the flap door to increase the space in the
refrigerator compartment.

Usin the refri erator to its full potential
 Use the REFRIGERATOR OPERATION knob to adjust
the temperature (see Description).
 Place onl cold or lukewarm foods in the compartment,
not hot foods (see Precautions and tips).
 Remember that cooked foods do not last longer than
raw foods.
 Do not store liquids in open containers. The will
increase humidit in the refrigerator and cause
condensation to form.
Usin the freezer to its full potential
 Do not re-freeze food that is defrosting or that has alread
been defrosted. These foods must be cooked and eaten
(within 24 hours).
 Fresh food that needs to be frozen must not come into
contact with food that has alread been defrosted. Fresh
food must be stored above the grill in the freezer
compartment and if possible be in direct contact with the
walls (side and rear), where the temperature drops below
-18°C and guarantees rapid freezing.
 Do not place glass bottles which contain liquids, and
which are corked or hermeticall sealed in the freezer
because the could break.
 The maximum quantit of food that ma be frozen dail is
indicated on the plate containing the technical properties
located on the bottom left side of the refrigerator
compartment (for example: Kg/24h: 4)
! Do not open the door during freezing.
! If there is a power cut or malfunction, do not open the
freezer door. This will help maintain the temperature inside
the freezer, ensuring that foods are conserved for at least 9 -
14 hours.
! If the room temperature drops below 14°C for an extended
period of time, the ideal temperature will not be reached in
the freezer compartment and food preservation will be
reduced.
ICE
tra s .
The Eas Ice tra s are set into the top part of the freezer
drawers to maximise the space within the freezer. The
tra s are drip-free and sealed to prevent food from tainting
the ice cubes.
1. Check that the tra is completel empt and fill it with
water through the opening provided.
2. Take care not to exceed the level indicated (MAX
WATER LEVEL). Excess water prevents the ice cubes
from dispensing (if this happens, wait for the ice to melt
and empt the tra ).
3. Turn the tra 90°: due to the connected compartments
each mould fills with water (see diagram).
4. Close the opening with the lid provided and put the tra
back.
5. When the ice has formed (minimum time approximatel 8
hours) knock the tra against a hard surface and wet the
outside so that the ice cubes come loose and take them
out through the opening.

Maintenance and care
Switchin the appliance off
During cleaning and maintenance it is necessar to
disconnect the appliance from the electricit suppl .
It is not sufficient to set the temperature adjustment knobs
on
0
(appliance off) to eliminate all electrical contact.
Cleanin the appliance
 The external and internal parts, as well as the rubber
seals ma be cleaned using a sponge that has been
soaked in lukewarm water and bicarbonate of soda or
neutral soap. Do not use solvents, abrasive products,
bleach or ammonia.
 The removable accessories ma be soaked in warm
water and soap or dishwashing liquid. Rinse and dr
them carefull .
 The back of the appliance ma collect dust which can be
removed b delicatel using the hose of a vacuum
cleaner set on medium power. The appliance must be
switched off and the plug must be pulled out before
cleaning the appliance.
Avoidin mould and unpleasant odours
 The appliance is manufactured with h gienic materials
which are odour free. In order to maintain an odour free
refrigerator and to prevent the formation of stains, food
must alwa s be covered or sealed properl .
 If ou want to switch the appliance off for an extended
period of time, clean the inside and leave the doors
open.
Defrostin the appliance
! Follow the instructions below.
Do not speed up the defrosting process b using an
devices or tools other than the scraper provided, ou ma
damage the refrigeration circuit.
Defrosting the refrigerator compartment
The refrigerator has an automatic defrosting function: water
is ducted to the back of the appliance b a special
discharge outlet (see
diagram) where the heat
produced b the
compressor causes it to
evaporate. It is necessar
to clean the discharge hole
regularl so that the water
can flow out easil .
Defrosting the freezer compartment
Remove frost regularl using the special scraper provided.
If the frost la er is greater than 5 mm, it is necessar to
defrost manuall :
1. Set the TEMPERATURE ADJUSTMENT knob to the
position
0
.
2. Wrap frozen foods in newspaper and place them in
another freezer or in a cool place.
3. Leave the door open until the frost has melted
completel . This can be made easier b placing
containers with lukewarm water in the freezer
compartment.
4. Certain appliances are
fitted with the DRAIN
SYSTEM to lead the water
outside: insert the scraper
into the slot provided at
the bottom and let the
water flow into a container
(see diagram).
5. Clean and dr the freezer compartment carefull before
switching the appliance on again.
6. Wait for approximatel 2 hours, i.e. until the ideal
storage conditions have been restored, before placing
food in the freezer compartment.
Replacin the li ht bulb
To replace the light bulb in the refrigerator compartment,
pull out the plug from the electrical socket. Follow the
instructions below.
Access the light bulb (A) b

similar light bulb, the power
of which should not
exceed 15W.

Precautions and tips
! The appliance was designed and manufactured in
compliance with international safet standards. The
following warnings are provided for safet reasons and
must be read carefull .
This appliance complies with the following

-89/336/EEC of 03.05.89 (Electromagnetic
Compatibilit ) and subsequent amendments;

General safety
 The appliance was designed for domestic use inside the
home and is not intended for commercial or industrial
use.
 The appliance must be used to store and freeze food
products b adults onl and according to the instructions
in this manual.
 The appliance must not be installed outdoors, even in
covered areas. It is extremel dangerous to leave the
appliance exposed to rain and storms.
 Do not touch the appliance with bare feet or with wet or
moist hands and feet.
 Do not touch the internal cooling elements: this could
cause skin abrasions or frost/freezer burns.
 When unplugging the appliance alwa s pull the plug from
the mains socket, do not pull on the cable.
 Before cleaning and maintenance, alwa s switch off the
appliance and disconnect it from the electrical suppl . It is
not sufficient to set the temperature adjustment knobs on
0 (appliance off) to eliminate all electrical contact.
 In the case of a malfunction, under no circumstances
should ou attempt to repair the appliance ourself.
Repairs carried out b inexperienced persons ma cause
injur or further malfunctioning of the appliance.
 Do not use utensils other than the scraper provided, or
electrical equipment which is not of the t pe specified
b the manufacturer, inside the frozen food storage
compartments
 Do not put ice cubes taken directl from the freezer into
our mouth.
 Do not allow children to tamper with the controls or pla
with the appliance. Under no circumstance should the
be allowed to sit on the bins or to hang from the door.
 Keep packaging material out of the reach of children! It
can become a choking or suffocation hazard.
Disposal
 Observe local environmental standards when disposing
packaging material for rec cling purposes.
 The European Directive 2002/96/EC on Waste
Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE), requires
that old household electrical appliances must not be
disposed of in the normal unsorted municipal waste
stream. Old appliances must be collected separatel in
order to optimise the recover and rec cling of the
materials the contain and reduce the impact on
human health and the environment. The crossed out
wheeled bin s mbol on the product reminds ou of
our obligation, that when ou dispose of the appliance
it must be separatel collected.
Consumers should contact their local authority or
retailer for information concerning the correct
disposal of their old appliance.
Respectin and conservin the
environment
 Install the appliance in a fresh and well-ventilated room.
Ensure that it is protected from direct sunlight and do
not place it near heat sources.
 Tr to avoid keeping the door open for long periods or
opening the door too frequentl in order to conserve
energ .
 Do not fill the appliance with too much food: cold air
must circulate freel for food to be preserved properl .
If circulation is impeded, the compressor will work
continuousl .
 Do not place hot food directl into the refrigerator. The
internal temperature will increase and force the
compressor to work harder and will consume more
energ .
 Defrost the appliance if ice forms (see Maintenance). A
thick la er of ice makes cold transference to food
products more difficult and results in increased energ
consumption.
 Regularl check the door seals and wipe clean to
ensure the are free of debris and to prevent cold air
from escaping (see Maintenance).

Assistance
Troubleshooting
Malfunctions:
The internal light does not
illuminate.
The refrigerator and the freezer
do not cool well.
The food inside the refrigerator is
beginning to freeze.
The motor runs continuously.
The AIR fan does not rotate
The appliance makes a lot of
noise.
Some of the external parts of the
refrigerator become hot.
The back wall of the refrigerator
unit is covered in frost or droplets
of water.
There is water at the bottom of the
refrigerator.
Possible causes / Solutions:
 The plug has not been inserted into the electrical socket, or not far enough to
make contact, or there is no power in the house.
 The doors do not close properl or the seals are damaged.
 The doors are opened too frequentl .
 The TEMPERATURE ADJUSTMENT knob is not in the correct position
 The refrigerator or the freezer have been over-filled.
 The atmospheric temperature of the area surrounding the appliance is lower
than 14°C.
 The TEMPERATURE ADJUSTMENT knob is not in the correct position.
 The food is in contact with the back inside wall of the refrigerator.
 The door is not closed properl or is continuousl opened.
 The outside ambient temperature is ver high.
 The thickness of the frost exceeds 2-3 mm (see Maintenance).
 The AIR s stem is onl activated automaticall when it becomes necessar to
restore perfect operational conditions inside the refrigerator compartment.
 The appliance has not been installed on a level surface (see Installation).
 The appliance has been installed between cabinets that vibrate and make noise.
 The internal refrigerant makes a slight noise even when the compressor is off.
This is not a defect, it is normal.
 These raised temperatures are necessar in order to avoid the formation of
condensation on certain parts of the product.
 This shows the appliance is operating normall .
 The water discharge hole is blocked (see Maintenance).
Before calling for Assistance:
Check if the malfunction can be solved on our own (see Troubleshooting).
 If after all the checks, the appliance still does not operate or the problem persists, call the nearest Service Centre
