OWNERS MANUAL – CPH-1000D ARTCOUSTIC LOUDSPEAKERS
The Artcoustic CPH-1000D is a professional 2-channel,
digital amplifier which performs smoothly and accurately,
even in the most demanding conditions.
Designed in-house, the CPH-1000D oers incredible
2-channel, or bridged single-channel performance, in a
rack mountable chassis, just 1U high. It combines high
performance with a silent and speed ecient, dual-fan
cooling system making it a suitable solution for almost any
application.
Use it in recording studios, or commercial applications
such as bars, restaurants & hotels, as well as high quality
Hi-Fi and home cinema systems.
It features two amp modules with a total of 450 Watt,
8 ohms per channel, or bridged, single-channel 1000 Watt,
8 ohms. It has been optimized to complement all the
Artcoustic subwoofers’ impedance and tonality, making it
the perfect match with amazing detail, control and
dynamics.

Ensure the input setting switch is moved to the correct position for the application.
The EQ switch is designed specifically for Artcoustic subwoofers. A good starting point Depth 1

EQ slope optimized for the medium to large Artcoustic subwoofers .The Depth 2 setting has a more
conservative slope and a 10 Hz higher entry point, enhancing frequencies from around 45Hz and down.
This setting is optimised for cinema and public address installations.
EQ slope optimized for smaller Artcoustic subwoofer models, such as SUB Z-IWS, SUB Z and SUB 1
subwoofer. The Depth 1 setting, mainly enhances the very deep frequencies, below 35Hz.
This setting is good for installations with main focus on 2-channel music reproduction.

Low Pass Filter Switch
Bypass (you’re using the crossover in the AV processor - set speakers
to ‘small’, crossover at 80-120Hz).
EQ  Slam For flat response, Depth 1 and Depth 2 for extended bass response. Slam is a good
default. For Depth 1 and Depth 2, check sub is ok at higher volumes as more energy is used
with the EQ settings in place.

SIGNAL SENSING TROUBLESHOOTING
If your amplifier doesn’t switch on at low play back level:
1. please make sure you have checked the above settings including EQ
setting default set to slam.
If you still experience a none-responsive amplifier, or amplifier shut down
at low playback level, we recommend the following.
2. To set front sensitivity dial as described at fig.1 and at the same time
increase subwoofer output level within your receiver speaker settings.
3. For further signal sensing sensitivity, set the front dial as described in
fig. 2 and at the same time further increase subwoofer output within your
receiver speaker settings.
