The Company
Arthur Holm has its origins in the Danish furniture designer Jorgen Alex
Jensen, who was active during the sixties and the seventies. His design
inspiration and his concept of ergonomics have been continued by his
family, who is the design force behind Arthur Holm product range. The

Plugs
• Do not dismantle any part of the monitor power connector.
• Disconnect the power plug from the AC outlet when the monitor is not
going to be used for an indenite period of time.
Power and extensions cords
• Use the appropriate power cord with the correct plug type.
• Do not overload wall outlets or power cords.
• Make sure the total ampere passed through a extension cord does not
exceed the maximum allowed by the cable used.
• Do not place anything on the power cord.
• Do not locate this product where a person may walk or trip over the
cord.
EC REGULATIONS AND SECURITY
ATTENTION: Do not disassemble or modify the device in any way.
This symbol warns of the presence of dangerous un-insulated
voltages inside some of the components, of sufcient magnitude
to expose people to risk of electronic shock.
This symbol draws attention to important use and maintenance
instructions in the manual that accompanies the unit.
This symbol indicates that the equipment conforms to the norms
established by the European Community.

Wiring connected to hazardous voltage requires installation by
qualied personnel or the use of ready-made exible cables.
For your security, your equipment must be connected to an
electrical outlet with grounding connection protection.
Since the plug is used to disconnect the device, the operating
electrical outlet must be in an easily accessible place.
Environment
• Install the equipment on an elevated, at surface.
• Install the equipment in a ventilated area.
• Avoid exposing the equipment to:
∙Rain or water
∙Excessive heat, cold or humidity
∙Area exposed to direct sunlight
∙Dirty areas
∙Equipment generating strong magnetic elds
• Avoid placing open containers of liquid, near the equipment.
• Keep a minimum distance of 30 mm in order to have good ventilation.
• Never place above the device any sources of ames such as lighted
candles, etc.
• If you are using the device in extreme weather conditions and/or
tropical climates, the equipment should be installed in a room which
ensures a reasonable level of temperature and humidity.
• To prevent damage, the equipment must be rmly anchored to the
surface, as shown in the installation instructions.

Environment
This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a
Class B digital device, pursuant to part 15 of the FCC Rules.
These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harm-
ful interference in a residential installation. This equipment generates, uses
and can radiate radio frequency energy, and if not installed and used in
accordance with the instructions, may cause harmful interference to ra-
dio communications. However, there is no guarantee that interference will
not occur in a particular installation.
If this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or television re-
ception, which can be determined by turning the equipment off and on,
the user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or more of
the following measures:
• Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.
• Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver.
• Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to
which the receiver is connected.
• Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help.

The DynamicCableRetract is a patented motorised cable retraction
system.
Simply touch a button and a 600 mm cable will appear in a smooth
and silent move. Push to deploy and push to retract: extremely easy
and neat.
The DynamicCableRetract is compact, elegant and robust. It provides
a harmonic and silent motorised movement for a seamless integration
in furniture.

Before the installation of your retractable cable, please check the
contents of the shipping box, it must contain the following items:
• AHDCRHDMI unit
• Power cord
• Power supply 100-240Vac, 50-60Hz. Output 12V
• User Manual
Important note: This device can only work with the power supply
included in the shipping box. This power supply can not be replaced by
any other rather than the original one.

MOUNTING INSTRUCTIONS
Introduction
The DynamicCableRetract device is
prepared to
be mounted from below the table.
A cover plate is supplied if the hole on the table
can’t be made properly or if aesthetically is
required.
Included in all versions are all necessary brackets
for the installation.
Attention
Manipulation of the product should be avoided; no stress should be applied
to the product except from the instructions given in this document. Cutting,
drilling, soldering, adding of electrical and mechanical components can
cause danger and should be avoided by all mean. Not complying with
these direction will result in a loss of the Arthur Holm warranty.
Albiral Display Solution S.L. shall not be held liable for any loss or injury
incurred as a result of modications made to goods by anyone other than
the supplier or the supplier's authorised representative without the supplier's
written permission. Such modications shall be deemed to terminate any
further guarantee obligations. Compensation will not be paid for wages,
loss of prot, waste of time, packing and transport or any nancial liability
resulting from defects in the goods. (Albiral Display Solutions shall not be
liable for any loss or injury caused by negligence.)

Information
Cut a hole in the table surface where the DynamicCableRetract top
surface will be installed
.
Ensure that there is enough space under the table to install the
DynamicCableRetract.
The output of the cable and connections of the device are in the
back side (As shown in the picture).

Preparing the table: Cut-out
If the cut-out in the table can not be made with precision, a cover plate is
supplied in order to hide the cut imperfections.
DynamicCableRetract can be installed in tables with a thickness from
10mm [0.39] to 50mm [1.97]. For thickness over 50 mm it will be necessary
to mill the lower part of the table.

Preparing the table
1- Make the cut-out according to
the provided pattern hole in the
table surface.
2- Place mounting jig in the table
bracket as indicated below.

3- From below the table, place
the mounting jig with the raised
square into the already made
cut-out, make sure the mounting
jig is centered in the cut-out.
4- Align the bracket with your
table axis and mark the screws
position. Remove the mounting jig
from the table bracket. Mount the
table bracket.

Mounting table brackets
Place the brackets as shown in the drawing and tighten them down using
the nuts (M4). Place the vertical adjustment screws (2+2) into the bracket
so that the tip of the screw is ushed with the upper side of the bracket.

Preparing the DynamicCableRetract
1- Place the DynamicCableRetract housing
with the brackets into the installed table
brackets as shown on the drawing below.
Insert the two M6 nuts.
2- Tighten each nut gradually until the
DynamicCableRetract top plate surface is ush
with of the table surface or cover plate:
- For the standard installation, ush the top
plate surface with the top surface of the
table.
- For the installation with cover plate, place
the cover plate over the table surface and
ush the top plate with the top Surface of the
cover plate. Do not stick the cover plate at
this moment.

Mounting the DynamicCableRetract
3- To level the device top surface of the
device with the table, screw the (x4)
M6x60 screws gradually.
There is a M6 screw in every corner, tighten
one more than others you can level the
DynamicCableRetract top surface of the
table or cover plate.
4- Tighten x4 M6 screws to block the device.
Before blocking, The DynamicCableRetract top
surface must be centered in the hole ensuring
that the perimeter has the same separation on all

Mounting the DynamicCableRetract
With the DynamicCableRetract is supplied a cover plate. This cover plate
can help to hide the cut out of the table if it cannot be made properly.
Follow next steps to stick the cover plate to top surface.
1- Clean the table Surface where the cover plate is goning to
be taped.
2-
Remove the adhesive protection from the back of the cover
plate.
3-
Place the cover plate centered with respect to the
DynamicCableRetract top plate ensuring that the perimeter
has the same separation on all 4 sides.

INPUT CONNECTORS
AHnet: RJ45 CAT5 connector for addressable RS422 control. There is a loop
through connector to use as signal RS422 output. Up to 30 devices can be
connected on the same RS422 bus.
Termination: Activate (ON) the termination, ONLY on the last unit of the
RS422 bus.
Address: AHnet address for the addressable AHnet command protocol.
Address 00 is reserved for service.
12V D.C.: Power supply input connector.
Service: Used for rmware upgrade.

AHLINK
AHlink is used to control and set-up the unit.
By default, the AHlink signal on the unit is deactivated. To activate the
AHlink signal, press for 5 seconds the external Up and Down retractable
cable button located on the cover plate.
The unit automatically deactivate the AHlink signal if there is no device
(mobile or tablet) connected for more than 2 minutes.
To control and set-up the unit using AHlink, download AHlink App from
the App Store (IOS system) or from Google Play (Android system). The
App is free. Execute the AHlink App on your mobile phone.
On the AHlink App options, it is recommended not to select Auto Connect
and select Portrait on Orientation. To connect to the device, select Scan
for local devices.

If the device does not appear
on the window, the AHlink signal
is not active.
The AHlink name always begins
with AH characters and the
fourth last MAC AHlink address.
Select the device to control and
set-up the unit.
When selecting the device,
the rst page will upload on
the mobile phone. This page is
used to check the device and
for basic diagnostic during the
installation process.
