To open the battery cover, press and slide the cover downwards.
Insert the battery and gently press the battery into place.
Close the cover.
Press and hold power button,
until the blue light on the charger
indicator comes on.

The software application is available for download at Amway’s website.
(Knowledge > Product Resources > Beauty & Personal Care > Digital)

Turn on the ARTISTRY Skin Analyzer, and keep the
battery cover open.
Open the software application on your mobile device
(PC/Tablet/Smartphone). While the application is loading,
the device’s charge indicator will blink.
Once the charge indicator has stopped blinking, go to
“Settings” on the application.
Ensure that the Internet connection (mobile data,
Wi-Fi, etc.) for your mobile device (PC/Tablet/Smartphone)
is disconnected.
Then search and select device’s Wi-Fi name, as indicated
below the battery slot as shown in the picture.
(Device Wi-Fi name > SSID : ASL_XXXX).
Input the device’s network password, as indicated below the battery slot as shown
in the picture (Password > PW : XXXXXXXX).
When the connection is successful, the Wi-Fi icon on the application will change
from grey to gold as shown in the picture below.
iOS : Go to “App Store” and search for “2.0 Artistry Skin Analyzer” to download
the program.
Android : Go to “Google Play Store” and download “2.0 Artistry Skin Analyzer”.

Tap on the Wi-Fi button
on the Home menu.
Once you’re connected,
you will see this message.
Tap “OK”.
Open the cover of your
Skin Analyzer. You will
see the SSID and
password.
You will then be
redirected to the main
page and can now
proceed to use the app.
Enter the SSID and
password here.
While connecting, you
will see this message.
Tap “OK”.

C. Program Settings / Device Certification

General Settings
Change the language,
analysis mode, etc.
Please select English
(SEA), 简体中文 (SEA)
or Bahasa Malaysia.
Analysis Settings
Set up the skin type
and analysis parameter.
Device Activation
Get the device certification
to download the product
list from the server.
About
Check the current
version and version
update availability
when connected to
the Internet (mobile
data, Wi-Fi, etc.).
Once Device Certification is complete, please reconnect to the device’s Wi-Fi to start the skin analysis.

Device Certification
On the main menu,
select “Settings”.
From the menu,
please select “Device
Activation”.
There is a device model
name with the serial
code. Please select
“Get Certification” to
register the device in
the program.
Device certification
is complete. Please
select the “OK” button
and proceed to
“Product Download” for
recommended products
in the program.
Device Certification is required when setting up the connection of the device to the software application/
program for the first time.
Device Certification and product recommendation download are only available when your mobile device
(PC/Tablet/Smartphone) is connected to the Internet (mobile data, Wi-Fi, etc.).
Please disconnect the ARTISTRY Skin Analyzer’s Wi-Fi and connect to the Internet (mobile data, Wi-Fi, etc.).

Wi-Fi Combo
Select “Settings”. A list of available Wi-Fi
signals will appear.
Connect to the
strongest Wi-Fi signal
and key in the Wi-Fi
password.
During the connection
process, a message will
appear stating that the
ARTISTRY Skin Analyzer
will be automatically
disconnected and reboot.
Select the “OK” button.
Select “General Settings”.
Once you are connected
to the Wi-Fi, go to the
“Settings” page of your
mobile device (PC/
Tablet/Smartphone).
Disconnect the Wi-Fi
and connect with the
Skin Analyzer’s Wi-Fi
(ASL_XXXX).
Scroll down and select
“Scan/Search”.
Your mobile device is
now connected with
the Skin Analyzer’s
WI-FI.
Go back to ASA app,
select “Settings” page
and click on the “Scan”
button. You will see
the selected Wi-Fi
connection in gold
colour.

Before you start
to analyse, it is
recommended that
you create a customer
profile.
You can also organise
your customers by
groups. To create a new
“Group”, click on the
top right corner, then
select “Edit Group”.
To create a new “Group”,
please select the “+” icon
on the top right corner.
To create a new profile,
select the “+” icon on
the top right corner.
Select “Agree” on the
privacy policy.
Input the customer’s
details such as name,
age, gender, email,
skin type, memo, etc.
Once complete,
select “Save” (iOS)/
”√ ” (Android) on the
top right corner.

paper on the U-zone
(as indicated on the
screen) for 2-3 seconds.

camera to capture the
image (U-zone).
Place and press the sebum
paper on the T-zone (as
indicated on the screen) for
2-3 seconds. Capture the
image of the sebum paper’s
pink area for the T-zone.

Go to the ASA 1.0 app
setting and select “General
Settings” > click “Export”.
Please wait for the
exporting process
to be completed.
Select the ‘OK’ button.

Open iTunes on your PC.
Connect your iPhone or iPad to your computer using the USB cable that
comes with your device.
Select your device in iTunes. Sign into iTunes with your Apple ID.
In the left sidebar, select “File Sharing”.

Exporting Data from ASA 1.0 app
Before you begin exporting/importing data, please ensure the following are available:
- The latest version of iTunes.
- The latest version of Windows 7 or later.
- An iPhone or iPad with the latest version of iOS.
After exporting completed, you may go to your PC follow below steps.

Copying ASA 1.0 files from iOS app to your computer
In iTunes, select the “ARTISTRY Skin Analyzer” app from the list in the File
Sharing section.
Drag and drop files from the documents list to a folder or window on your computer
to copy them to your computer.

Copying ASA 1.0 files from your computer to the ASA 2.0 iOS app
In iTunes, select the ASA 2.0 app. Drag the ASA 1.0 files that you saved on your
computer to the ASA 2.0 documents list.
After you have transferred your customers’ data through iTunes, you may go back
to your device.
Go to the ASA 2.0 app
> Select “Settings”
> Select “General Settings”
> Select “Import”.
Please wait for the
importing process
to be completed.
You can rename the
file accordingly and
select “OK”.
Select the “OK” button
when the importing
process has been completed.
Your customer data from
ASA 1.0 has been moved
to ASA 2.0.
