1. Preface
This camera is a professional 2 Mega-Pixel CMOS network camera which builds in web
server. User views real-time video via IE browser. It supports H.264, JPEG and MPEG4
(3GPP Only) video compression which provides smooth and high quality video. The event
video can be stored in the SD card, and can be playback remotely.
The IR model equips infrared illuminator to provide good image quality, even in darkness.
The PoE model built-in support for Power over Ethernet allows the camera to receive both
data and power over a single Ethernet cable.
This camera is an easy-to-use IP camera which is designed for security application.

3. Product Installation
A. Hardware Installation
Cable Connections
Power Jack:
To connect the DC 12V power adapter.
Network Connector:
The RJ-45 connector allows connect to the Ethernet network.
Micro-SD Card Slot
(inside of the camera):
Insert a Micro-SD card if you want to do the event recording in
the camera.

Terminal Block (inside
of the camera):
The terminal block provides the following functionalities:
Video Output: Allows connect to the analog display to
output analog video for locally monitoring.
MIC Input: Allows connect to a passive-type of microphone,
the connected audio will be heard at the remote site.
Audio Output: Allows connect to an amplified speaker, you
can hear the voice of the remote site from the speaker.
Digital I/O:Digital In and Relay Out.
1. Refer to the next sections to connect the cable of Digital I/O, Video output, Audio
output and MIC input if you want to use these functionalities.
2. Connect Ethernet cable for network connection.




3. Connect power adapter to turn on the camera.
4. If the camera is PoE model, the power adapter is not necessary. The camera will get
the power from the PoE injector or PoE switch.
PoE (Power over Ethernet) is a technology that integrates power into a standard LAN
infrastructure. It enables power to be provided to the network device, such as an IP
phone or a network camera, using the same cable as that used for network connection.
It eliminates the need for power outlets at the camera locations. Please follow the
below figure for the connection.
5. Set up the network configurations according to the network environment. For further
explanation, please refer to Network Configuration chapter.
Analog Video/Audio Connections
The terminal block inside of the camera provides analog video and audio functionalities.
You can connect the wires of connector to this terminal block to output these signals.

I/O Connections
The terminal block inside of the camera also Digital Input and Relay Output. You can
connect the wires of connector to this terminal block to output these signals. The I/O
connector used in application, for e.g., motion detection, event triggering, alarm
notifications. It provides the interface to:
1 set of Digital Input (Alarm + GND) – The digital inputs for connecting devices
that can toggle between an open and closed circuit, such as PIRs, door/window
contacts, glass break detectors, etc. When a signal is received the status changes
and the input becomes active.
1 set of Relay Output (N.O. + COM or N.C + COM) – The output to Relay switch of
the alarm device such as LEDs, Sirens, etc.
