Safety information
• Before setting up the monitor, carefully read all the documentation that came
with the package.
• To prevent re or shock hazard, never expose the monitor to rain or moisture.
• Never try to open the monitor cabinet. The dangerous high voltages inside the
monitor may result in serious physical injury.
• If the power supply is broken, do not try to x it by yourself. Contact a qualied
service technician or your retailer.
• Before using the product, make sure all cables are correctly connected and the
power cables are not damaged. If you detect any damage, contact your dealer
immediately.
• Slots and openings on the back or top of the cabinet are provided for
ventilation. Do not block these slots. Never place this product near or over a
radiator or heat source unless proper ventilation is provided.
• The monitor should be operated only from the type of power source indicated
on the label. If you are not sure of the type of power supply to your home,
consult your dealer or local power company.
• Use the appropriate power plug which complies with your local power standard.
• Do not overload power strips and extention cords. Overloading can result in re
or electric shock.
• Avoid dust, humidity, and temperature extremes. Do not place the monitor in
any area where it may become wet. Place the monitor on a stable surface.
• Unplug the unit during a lightning storm or if it will not be used for a long period
of time. This will protect the monitor from damage due to power surges.
• Never push objects or spill liquid of any kind into the slots on the monitor
cabinet.
• Accessory equipment connected to the analog and digital interfaces must be in
compliance with the respective nationally harmonized IEC standards (i.e. IEC
60950 for data processing equipment, IEC 60065 for video equipment, IEC
61010-1 for laboratory equipment, and IEC 60601-1 for medical equipment.)
Furthermore all configurations shall comply with the system standard IEC
60601-1-1. Anyone who connects additional equipment to the signal input
part or signal output part is configuring a medical system, and is therefore,
responsi¬ble that the system complies with the requirements of the system
standard IEC 60601-1-1. The unit is for exclusive interconnection with IEC
60601-1 certified equipment in the patient environment and IEC 60XXX
certied equipment out¬side of the patient environment. If in doubt, consult the
technical services department or your local representative.

• If you encounter technical problems with the monitor, contact a qualified
service technician or your retailer.
• Users must not allow SIP/SOPs and the patient to come into contact at the
same time.
• Grounding reliability can only be achieved when the equipment is connected to
an equivalent receptacle marked “Hospital Only” or “Hospital Grade”.
• The Mains isolation is by AC power supply cord.
• Use a power cord that matches the voltage of the power outlet, which has been
approved and complies with the safety standard of your particular country.
• WARNING - Do not modify this equipment without authorization of the
manufacturer.
• WARNING: To avoid risk of electric shock, this equipment must only be
connected to a supply mains with protective earth.

Intended use of the system
The intended use of the model is to serve as an LCD monitor for
integration with the hospital system. It is designed for general purpose for
hospital environment. For displaying and viewing of images for reference.
This monitor can neither be used for a life supporting system nor used in
digital mammography. The use of this device does not require any direct
contact with patients.
Maintenance
We suggest you to send the monitor to local dealer or service center every
year for maintenance.
Care & Cleaning
• Before you lift or reposition your monitor, it is better to disconnect the cables
and power cord. Follow the correct lifting techniques when positioning the
monitor. When lifting or carrying the monitor, grasp the edges of the monitor.
Do not lift the display by the stand or the cord.
• Cleaning. Turn your monitor off and unplug the power cord. Clean the monitor
surface with a lint-free, non-abrasive cloth. Stubborn stains may be removed
with a cloth dampened with clean water.
• Avoid using a cleaner containing alcohol or acetone. Use a cleaner intended
for use with the monitor. Never spray cleaner directly on the screen, as it may
drip inside the monitor and cause an electric shock.
• The screen may icker during the initial use due to the nature of the uorescent
light. Turn off the Power Switch and turn it on again to make sure that the
icker disappears.
• You may find slightly uneven brightness on the screen depending on the
desktop pattern you use.
• When the same image is displayed for hours, an afterimage of the previous
screen may remain after switching the image. The screen will recover slowly or
you can turn off the Power Switch for hours.
• When the screen becomes black or ashes, or cannot work anymore, contact
your dealer or service center to x it. Do not repair the screen by yourself!

1. 5-way button:
• Enacts the selected OSD menu item.
• Increases/Decreases values or moves your selection up/down/left/right.
2. MENU button:
• Turns on the OSD menu.
• Exits the OSD menu or goes back to the previous menu when the OSD
menu is active.

• Toggles the Key Lock function between on and off with a long press of
5 seconds.

• Brightness hotkey.

• Selects a desired preset mode.
• Automatically adjusts the image to its optimized position, clock, and phase
by pressing this button for 2-4 seconds (for VGA mode only).
6. button:
• Selects an available input source.
Press button (Input Select button) to display HDMI/DisplayPort
signals after you connect HDMI/DisplayPort cable with the monitor.
7. Power button/power indicator
• Turns the monitor on/off.
• The color denition of the power indicator is as the below table.

. Press the switch to turn on/off power.
. This port connects the power cord.
. This port is for connection for a DisplayPort compatible device.
. This port is for connection with an HDMI compatible device.

. This 24-pin port is for PC (Personal Computer) DVI-D digital signal
connection.
. This 15-pin port is for PC VGA connection.

. This port is for connection with a USB upstream cable.
The connection enables the USB ports on the monitor.

such as USB keyboard/mouse, USB ash drive, etc.

2.1 Detaching the arm/base
(for VESA wall mount)
The detachable arm/base of this monitor is specially designed for VESA wall
mount.
To detach the arm/base:
1. Have the front of the monitor face down on a table.
2. Use a screwdriver to remove the four screws on the arm (Figure 1), and then
detach the arm/base from the monitor (Figure 2).
We recommend that you cover the table surface with soft cloth to prevent
damage to the monitor.

2.2 Adjusting the monitor
• For optimal viewing, we recommend that you look at the full face of the
monitor, then adjust the monitor to the angle that is most comfortable for you.
• Hold the stand to prevent the monitor from falling when you change its angle.
• You can adjust the monitor’s angle from +20˚ to -5˚, and it allows 60˚ swivel
adjustment from either left or right. You can also adjust the monitor’s height
within +/- 10 cm.

1. Lift the monitor to the highest position.
2. Tilt the monitor to its maximum angle.
3. Pivot the monitor clockwise to the angle you need.

It is normal that the monitor slightly shakes while you adjust the viewing angle.

2.3 Connectingthecables
Connect the cables as the following instructions:
• Toconnectthepowercord: connect one end of the power cord securely to
the monitor’s AC input port, the other end to a power outlet.
• ToconnecttheVGA/HDMI/DVI/DisplayPortcable:
a. Plug one end of the VGA/HDMI/DVI/DisplayPort cable to the monitor’s
VGA/HDMI/DVI/DisplayPort jack.
b. Connect the other end of the VGA/HDMI/DVI/DisplayPort cable to your
computer's VGA/HDMI/DVI/DisplayPort jack.
c. Tighten the two screws to secure the VGA/DVI connector.
• Tousetheearphone: connect the end with plug type to the monitor’s
earphone jack when an HDMI or DisplayPort signal is fed.
• TousetheUSB3.0ports: Take the supplied USB 3.0 cable, and plug
the smaller end (type B) of the USB upstream cable to the monitor’s USB
upstream port, and the larger end (type A) to your computer’s USB 3.0 port.
Make sure your computer is installed with the lastest Windows 7 operating
system. That will enable the USB ports on the monitor to work.
When these cables are connected, you can choose the desired signal
from the Input Select item in the OSD menu.
• TodisconnecttheACpowercord: Pull out the end of power cord from the
monitor’s AC input port.
2.4 Turningonthemonitor
Press the power button . See page 1-2 for the location of the power button. The
power indicator lights up in white to show that the monitor is ON.
