IMPORTANT INFORMATION
• Caution: parts of this product may become very hot and cause burns. You have to lend
special attention in the presence of children and vulnerable people.
• Children under 3 years of age should be kept away from this appliance unless they are
under continuous supervision.
• Children aged between 3 and 8 years old must only switch the appliance ON or OFF,
provided that the appliance has been placed or installed in a normal position and that
these children have or have been instructed to use the device safely and understand the
potential hazards.
• Children between 3 and 8 years old should not plug in, adjust, clean, or carry out user
maintenance.
• This device can be used by children at least 8 years of age and
by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental abilities or
no experience or knowledge, if they are properly supervised or
if instructions for the safe use of the device have been given to them and the risks
involved have been addressed.
• Children should not play with the device.
• Cleaning and user maintenance should not be performed by unattended children.
• To avoid danger to very young children, it is recommended to install this towel heater so
that the lowest heating bar is at least 600 mm above the oor.
• This appliance must only be connected according to the rules and standards in
application, by an authorized person.
• If the power cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its after-sales
service or similarly qualied persons in order to avoid a hazard.
• All work on the electrical parts must be carried out by a qualied professional.
• At the rst heating, a slight door may appear corresponding to the evacuation of any
traces related to the manufacture of the device.
• A power management system or power failure is not compatible with our devices. It
damages the thermostats.
• For safety reasons, it is strictly forbidden to rell the towel rails. If necessary, contact the
manufacturer’s after-sales service or a qualied professional.
• To ensure proper operation and avoid overheating, the electronic controller must not be
covered by a towel or a bathrobe.
• Before servicing the towel rail, turn it o󰀨 and let it cool down. Never use abrasives and
solvents.
• The towel rail is lled with a heat transfer uid dangerous to health if swallowed. In the
event of a leak, contact your installer and take any precautionary measures to prevent
any ingestion of uid by users, especially young children and vulnerable persons.

TECHNICAL DATA
GENERAL INFORMATION
Pacic towel rail is manufactured in steel, with a white or chrome nish. It is simple to t and maintenance-
free.
Fast to heat up and fully programmable either directly into the towel rail or by using the optional remote
control.
• Designed and fabricated in accordance with EN 60335-1, EN 60335-2- 43 and EN 55014 (regulations
for domestic appliances)

CONTROL OPTIONS
The towel rail is designed to be used in conjunction with the system and App,
providing total control of your heating system from anywhere in the world via the internet.
The App is available for both Android and iOS devices and o󰀨ers the ultimate in control and
energy monitoring.
Search for “Tevolve” on the either the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store.
Scan this QR code to access to the download.
It is also possible to programme each towel rail individually without the App by using the built in controls and
screen. This may be convenient for single heaters however we recommend the Tevolve Gateway to control
multiple heaters.
ELECTRICAL POWER SUPPLY
A qualied electrician must carry out the electrical installation of this towel rail. The electrical installation
must comply with current regulations. Any claim on the warranty could be invalid if these requirements have
not been met.
The towel rail requires a 220-240V, 50Hz power supply.
Connecting wires:
Brown: Live
Blue (or grey): Neutral
NOTE: The towel rail does not require an earth wire.
The connecting wires must be of the appropriate section, in regards to the length of cable, type of cable and
power rating of the apparatus.
The apparatus must be connected into a connecting box. According to regulations, the apparatus must be
connected to the power supply by means of an all-pole circuit breaker with a contact gap of at least 3mm or
by a thermal-magnetic circuit breaker.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
LOCATION OF THE TOWEL RAIL
It is essential to mount the towel rail with the control box on the lower right hand side.
To avoid risks this appliance must be installed with the lowest heated rail at least 600mm above the oor.
In bathrooms, the towel rail must never be installed in such a way that the switches and other control
devices can be touched by a person in the bathtub or shower.
This product is rated as IP44 and can be located in zone 2, the area stretching 60cm outside the perimeter
of the bath and to a height of 2.25m from the oor. If you are in doubt please contact a qualied electrician
for advice.
The towel rail under no circumstances, should be installed below an electric power point.

COMPONENTS
The components for fastening the towel rail to a wall are supplied in a bag together with the appliance.
There are four support assemblies, each consisting of the following components:
(A) 1 plastic tube Ø28 x 65mm + screw M5
(B) 1 plastic tube Ø20 x 55mm with threaded inserts
(C) 1 screw M6
(D) 1 plastic retainer (conic 15º)
(E) 1 plastic cap
(F) 1 screw Ø3 x 10mm
(G) 1 screw Ø6 x 50mm
(H) 1 nylon stopper Ø10mm
MOUNTING
The towel rail is xed to the wall by four support assemblies. Two support assemblies should be positioned
between the 2nd and 3rd horizontal tubes from the top and two between the 2nd and 3rd horizontal tubes from
the bottom.
STEP 1
First, the 4 supports are placed on the towel rail, take a piece (B), x the piece (D) with the screw (C) and
insert it between two tubes from the front, taking care that the conical part of parts (B) and (D) faces inside
the appliance. Repeat this in all four support positions.
STEP 2
Once the brackets are attached to the appliance, check their position and mark the 4 support points on the
wall. Drill the holes in the wall and insert the plug (H).
STEP 3
We take part (A), insert the screw (G) and x it on the wall plug.
Insert part (B) into part (A) and t the screws (F), do not tighten them.
STEP 4
Once all the supports are in place, place the covers (E) on the piece (D).
Check that the towel rail is in a perfectly vertical position and tighten the screws (F).

Note: The 4 symbols on the side of the screen
will change depending on the menu that the
user is accessing.
The rst press of any button will wake up the towel rail any further
button presses will activate the function required.
Switching ON:
Once the towel rail has been mounted on
the wall and correctly connected to the mains
electricity power supply, press the main On/O󰀨
button on the left side of the towel rail control.
The screen will show various information and
the towel rail is ready to operate.
Switching OFF:
To switch o󰀨 the towel rail, press the On/O󰀨
button on the left side of the towel rail control
until the symbol appears as shown in the
following screen:
When the towel rail is in OFF mode, it will keep
the programs and will continue to communicate
with the gateway (if connected) but will not heat.
To turn the towel rail back on, press the On/
O󰀨 button again, it will return to the last selected
mode (MANUAL or AUTO).
Operating modes:

MANUAL PROGRAMMING
To assist with programming the TFT screen is
backlit and will stay illuminated for approximately
10 seconds after the last button is pressed. (To
change the backlight time, see the section on
DISPLAY)
When the towel rail is operational and the room
temperature is lower than the set temperature the
heating symbol will be shown indicating that
the towel rail is producing heat.
The following screens show OFF, AUTO and
MANUAL modes. To change between the di󰀨erent
modes press OK/Mode button and to turn it o󰀨 the
OFF button. .
When the towel rail is in AUTO mode the
temperature can be adjusted by pressing the +/-
buttons. This change will remain active until either
the next programme change or until midnight when
the temperature will revert to the preset value.
When the temperature has been adjusted in
AUTO mode a hand will show beside the auto to
symbol to show the amended set-point.
To return to AUTO mode press the OK/Mode
button.
NOTE: To rapidly change the temperature set-
point in any mode press and hold the +/- keys.
SET PROGRAM TEMPERATURES
To amend the temperature set points used in
the program mode, press and hold the CONFIG
button until the following screen appears:
Select either Comfort, Eco or Anti-Frost and
press OK to enter the menu.
Press the +/- button to change the temperature
of each mode then press OK to conrm and return
to the main operation screen, repeat the above to
set the other program temperature set-points.
SETTING THE TIME AND DATE
If a towel rail is paired with a Gateway then the
local time from the internet is automatically applied
to the towel rail.
To set the Clock on an unpaired Towel rail, press
and hold the CONFIG button until the CONFIG
menu is shown and then select SETTINGS, press
OK and then select TIME Settings and press OK
again .
In the TIME menu the Time, Date and Daylight
Savings (DST) can be set.

Select TIME and press OK.
The current set time is shown on the display, to
change time move the underline to the hours and
press OK.
The hours will ash, use the +/- keys to adjust
to the correct value and press OK, move to the
minutes and repeat to set the correct time. Once
complete press the CONFIG button to exit.
To set the Date select the Date menu, press OK
and enter the Day, Month and Year.
To exit the Date menu, press the CONFIG
button.
The Towel rail can automatically adjust the time
o󰀨set for Daylight savings. To set this option on or
o󰀨 choose ON or OFF in the DST menu.
ENTERING A PROGRAM
The AUTO mode of the towel rail allows you to
run a program designed to accommodate your
lifestyle. To enter a new program into the Heater
press and hold the CONFIG button until the
CONFIG menu appears, then use the +/- buttons
to select PROGRAM and press OK.
To enter a program into the towel rail rst select
the day of the week in the upper left corner of the
programming screen and press OK, change the
day to the day you want to program and press OK.
Once the correct day
is selected, select “add
period” and press OK. The
underline will change to a
box around the times that
can be changed. Press OK
and the ON time will begin to ash.
Change the ON time to
the starting time the towel
rail should heat (7:00 in our
example), press OK and
the OFF time starts to ash.
Change the OFF time to the
end of the heating period required (e.g:12:00).
Once the times have
been entered, chose the
temperature set point
required for the heating
period; either Comfort or
Economy .
Any time periods outside of Comfort or Economy
are automatically set to Anti-Frost .
Once the set point is chosen choose either “OK”
to save the setting or “x” to delete.
Extra heating times can be added by selecting
“add period” and repeating the above procedure.
Once the program for the
day is complete, it can be
copied to other days in the
week by selecting COPY
from the programming
screen.
The copy screen will
appear and the day that is
being copied from will not
be available. (Wednesday in
the example.)
Select the days to copy to and then move the
underline to “OK” on the screen and press the OK
button.
The screen will change back to the program
menu.
To Exit press CONFIG or leave the towel rail
and the display will revert to the current running
mode.

The rst press of any button will wake up the towel rail any further
button presses will activate the function required.
To make sure your program is running Press
the OK/MODE button until is shown at the
bottom of the screen.
The screen will change between the operation
screen and the next time of operation.
At any time, the temperature can be changed
with the +/- buttons.
BOOST
The towel rail has a Boost mode that allows the
user to temporarily override
the current operating mode.
The Boost button will
immediately turn on the towel
rail for 1 hour at 2ºC warmer
than room temperature.
To adjust the BOOST temperature, use the +/-
buttons.
To adjust the duration, press
the CONFIG button, the
BOOST time setting screen
will be displayed; set the
required time between 1
hour and 24 hours. To return
to the BOOST screen press
the CONFIG button.
You can quickly adjust the duration with the
BOOST button . Each press will increase the
duration of BOOST mode by 1h.
To return to the previous mode and cancel the
Boost mode, press the OK button.
DISPLAY SETTINGS
The DISPLAY menu on the towel rail allows the
user to customise how the towel rail looks whilst
the screen is on and o󰀨, it also allows the button
sound to be controlled.
To open the DISPLAY menu, press and
hold CONFIG until the menu appears, select
SETTINGS and press OK, nally select DISPLAY
and press OK.
To Adjust the brightness of
the screen, select Brightness
level and press OK.
The ON levels are between
1=25%, 2=50%, 3=75% &
4=100%.
The OFF levels are O󰀨,
1=3%, 2=10% and 3=20%.
Chose the level required
and press OK.
To set the time the screen
stays on for after the
last button press, select
Backlight Time from the
DISPLAY menu and chose
how many seconds are
required. The factory default
is 10s.
The towel rail features a
“responsible consumption”
Eco Display mode, this
mode will show a coloured
bar across the bottom of
the screen to encourage the
user to set an economical
temperature.
This feature is turned on
and o󰀨 in the ECO DISPLAY
menu.
To de-activate the beep
when each key is pressed
enter the BEEP menu and
select either On or O󰀨.
