Blazer Vista 1000/1400/2000 VA that should
be followed during installation and
maintenan e of the UPS and batteries.
Safety – CAUTION!
This UPS utilizes voltages that may be hazar ous. Do not attempt to
isassemble the unit. The unit contains no user serviceable parts.
Only factory service personnel may perform repairs.
Internal battery voltage is 12V c. Seale , lea -aci , 6 cells battery.
Connection to any other type of receptacle other than a two-pole,
three-wire groun ing receptacle may result in s shock hazar as well
as violate local electrical co es.
In the event of an emergency, turn the power switch to the “off”
position an isconnect the power cor form the AC power supply to
properly isable the UPS
Do not allow any liqui s or any foreign object to enter the UPS. Do
not place beverages or any other liqui -containing vessels on or near
the unit.
This unit inten e for installation in a controlle environment
(temperature controlle , in oor area free of con uctive contaminants).
Avoi installing the UPS in locations where there is stan ing or
running water, or excessive humi ity.
Do not plug the UPS input into its own output.
Do not attach a power strip or surge suppressor to the UPS.
Do not attach non-computer-relate items, such as me ical
equipment, life-support equipment, microwave ovens, or vacuum
cleaners to UPS
To re uce the risk of overheating the UPS, o not cover the UPS’
cooling vents an avoi exposing the unit to irect sunlight or
installing the unit near heat emitting appliances such as space heaters
or furnaces.

Unplug the UPS prior to cleaning an o not use liqui or spray
etergent.
Do not ispose of battery or batteries in a fire. The battery may
explo e.
Do not open or mutilate the battery or batteries. Release
electrolyte is harmful to the skin an eyes. It may be toxic.
A battery can present a risk of electrical shock an high short circuit
current. The following precautions shoul be observe when working
on batteries :
1) Remove watches, rings, or other metal objects from the han .
2) Use tools with insulate han les.
3) Wear rubber gloves an boots.
4) Do not lay tools or metal parts on the top of batteries.
5) Disconnect charging source prior to connecting or isconnecting
batteries terminal.
Servicing of batteries shoul be performe or supervise by personnel
knowle geable of batteries an the require precautions. Keep
unauthorize personnel away from batteries.
When replacing batteries, replace with the same number of the
seale lea -aci batteries.
This pluggable type A equipment with battery alrea y installe by the
supplier is operator installable an may be operate by laymen.
During the installation of this equipment it shoul be assure that the
sum of the leakage currents of the UPS an the connecte loa s oes
not excee 3.5mA.
The mains socket outlet that supplies the UPS shall be installe near
the UPS an shall be easily accessible.

Installation and Operation
Installing the UPS is as easy as following the steps shown. Be
aware of the Power Swit h must be kept in the “ON” position,
otherwise, the UPS will be disabled and your equipment will not be
prote ted during a power failure.
1. Inspe tion
Remove the UPS from its packaging an inspect it for amage that
may have occurre uring shipping. If any amage is iscovere ,
repack the unit an return it to the place of purchase.
2. Pla ement
Install the UPS unit in any protecte environment that provi es
a equate airflow aroun the unit, an is free from excessive ust,
corrosive fumes an con uctive contaminants. Do not operate your
UPS in an environment where the ambient temperature or humi ity is
high. On the other han , place the UPS unit away from monitor at least
20cm to avoi interference.
3. Charging
This unit is shippe from the factory with its internal battery fully
charge . However, some energy may be lost uring shipping so the
battery shoul be recharge before using it. Plug the unit into an
appropriate power supply an allow the UPS to charge fully by leaving
it plugge in for 10 hours.

4. Computer Conne tion
Connect one computer-relate evice into each of the power
receptacles supplie on the back of the UPS (maximum of three
evices).
5. Modem/Phone line Conne tion
Plug incoming internet line into the “In” socket at the back of the UPS.
Use one more Internet line cable an plug one en of the Internet line
cable to the “Out” socket at the back of the UPS. Plug the other en to
the mo em input socket as shown.

6. Serial Cable Conne tion
To allow for unatten e system shut own for your operating system,
connect the serial cable as per iagram below.
7. Turn On/Off
To turn on the UPS unit, press the power switch lightly. To turn off
the UPS unit, press the power switch again (When Switch ON
,

8. LCD Display Spe ifi ation
The LED will always turns on when UPS works, inclu ing in off charging
mo e an fault mo e.
When LCD start to work, it will isplay all information for 3s

3).When in battery mo e, it will isplay as below. An the mark

Software Installation

WinPower is bran new UPS monitoring software, which provi es
user-frien ly interface to monitor an control your UPS. This unique
software provi es safely auto shut own for multi-computer systems while
power failure. With this software, users can monitor an control any UPS
on the same LAN no matter how far from the UPS
Installation pro edure:
1. Go to the website:
http://www.ups-software- ownloa .com/winpower.htm
2. Choose the operation system you nee an follow the instruction
escribe on the website to ownloa the software.
3. When ownloa ing all require files from the internet, enter the serial
No: 511C1-01220-0100-478DF2A to install the software.
When your computer restarts, the WinPower software will appear as a
green plug icon locate in the system tray, near the clock.

Trouble Shooting
Use the table below to solve minor UPS installation or operation
problems. If any abnormal situations occur that are not liste
above, please call service people imme iately.
