Pendant Mount Speakers from
Atlas Sound
• Equipped with Atlas Sound’s most popular drivers in a
down firing configuration – no weird dispersion cones,
no tweeter banks, no attempts to break the inverse
square law!
• Cable mounting system included! Optional down pipe
installation is made easy with either standard ceiling
fan hardware or 3⁄4” MPT tubing / suspension hardware.

• Three different 8” loudspeaker options match
performance of Atlas Sound’s CX Series, FA Series, and
GD Series. The FA134 driver utilized in the 4” model
provides nearly identical performance to the popular
FAP42T ceiling speaker system.

The PM4FA uses the familiar response and dispersion of Atlas Sound's FA134 high performance 4" Strategy
Series® driver. This loudspeaker is the same FA Series driver used in Atlas Sound's successful FAP42T ceiling
speaker package. Mounted down-firing in an attractive enclosure, the PM4FA provides natural sounding, wide
coverage for low height installations while retaining very impressive full range frequency response for both music
and paging applications.
For higher ceiling applications, Atlas Sound Pendant Mount series answers the need for a variety of budget and
performance requirements with three different 8" driver offerings.
PM8GD utilizes the economical GD87 coaxial driver to provide familiar response and high efficiency while retaining
economy when high density speaker counts are required in page only applications.
For upscale performance in retail and hospitality applications, the PM8FA system employs the popular FA138
loudspeaker in a specifically tuned and ported enclosure to provide impressive music and page reproduction. For
high ceilings up to 30', the PM8CX employs the Atlas Sound 8CXT60 compression driver coaxial loudspeaker
which provides excellent efficiency exceeding 96 dB 1 W / 1 M and a desirable 90° conical coverage pattern in the
2 kHz octave band.
All models include a suspension cable system and concealment top cover to provide optimal aesthetics. Under
this cover, connection is made via terminal block for 70.7V / 100V transformer or direct coupled 8 Ω operation.
Optional Steel City® Hands-Free Swivel Hanger system allows quick install of the Atlas Sound PM Series without
the need for an extra set of hands. The patented hanger design allows the fixture to be set in place while giving
users access to the conductors while wiring is being completed. The Hands-Free Swivel Hanger can support a
fixture up to 50 pounds and is ideal for
gyms or other commercial sites. Use
with any length of 3⁄4" MPT pipe.
