Attention
Non- technical person shall not change, disassemble or repair
the product, otherwise all losses caused by this shall be bared
by the user himself.
Please do not scratch, bend, twist or stretch the wires. Do not
place the wires in high temperature. Do not press hard or
decompose the on-board charging adapter.
Please do not place nails, pins, and other small debris on the
charging port, in order to avoid damaging the charging
connector.
Do not place the product in unstable place such as high
altitude area, slope, or shelf.
This product is powered by electricity and should not be used
as a toy for children.

Operation
Open the engine cover, and hang the detector in the cover.
Disconnect the pipe that needs to be connected with detector.
If the pipe needs to be disconnected in the middle, please
secure the other side with a rubber stopple.
Secure this side with proper taper stopple/pipe, and connect it
with smoke output tube.
Connect detector with DC12V battery: red with positive, black
with negative. Do not connect in a contrary way.

Getting Started

To avoid short circuit, do not immerse the product in water or
other liquid.
Please try to use the power supply and power cord supplied by
manufacturer as standard.
Please do not expose this product to strong light or high
temperature when it’s not at use.

AUTOOL SDT206 is a professional auto pipe leak detect tool. It
will help us position leakage on any pipe system quickly and
exactly,such as EVAP system,Intake system, exhaust system...
and so on.
Main Unit Structure
SDT206 is designed for detecting the leakage of pipe systems on
cars, motorcycles, such as fuel pipe, air intake system and cooling
tank. SDT206 is for all pipe system and EVAP.
Cautions
When you use this detector the first time, please fill 20-30ml
oil, not beyond this range.
Fresh oil can be filled with only when the smoke is light, and it
can’t be filled over 15ml every time.
Before filling fresh oil, please pour out the remaining oil in the
detector.
Please replace the detector oil regularly.

Connect smoke exhaust port to the pipe system you want to
test.
Wait for a while. Pressure gauge value decrease means the
pipe system have leakage; pressure gauge value show "0"
means diameter of leakage point is more than 0.3mm.

Warranty Service
There are 3 years' warranty for AUTOOL product main unit and
1 year warranty for the accessories since the day the customers
have received the product parcel.
Warranty Access
Repair or replace the equipment will be done according to the
specific fault conditions;
We guarantee that all replacement parts, accessories or
equipment are brand new;

Turn on the power switch, and the detector starts to work.
In about 3 minutes, the pipe will be filled with smoke. Check
the leak points. Please use head lamp if necessary.
After leak detection, please connect well the wires and pipe.

Please do leak detection away from smoke-sensitive parts.
Do not run the detector over 8 minutes. It needs interval rest.
The detector has protector. If it exceeds working limit, it will
power off automatically. In this condition, please operate it
later.
The round part of this detector is with temperature, be careful
to avoid scalding injury.

Maintenance
Before filling fresh oil, please pour out the remaining oil in the
detector.
When the smoke output has water drops, please replace with
fresh oil.
Liquid paraffin and baby oil are OK.
•
With longtime high temperature, the smoke and oil will oxidize and
deteriorate. It will infect the service life of smoke generated part, so
please change smoke and oil regularly.

Please fill fresh oil with equipped oil bottle.
How to do leakage test?
Turn on device then block smoke exhaust port on SDT206,
record pressure gauge value.

注意事项
请远离烟雾敏感部件进行泄漏检测。
请勿一次加注测试油超过量瓶的量，否则设备出烟受到影响。
检测设备有温度保护器。如果长时间连续作业，过热后它将自
动停机保护，此时气泵正常工作，发热系统停止工作，当温度
下降到合理温度，设备恢复正常工作。如需连续工作，在工作
15min 后，设备停机休息3-5min，同时加注10-15ml 烟油，加
快设备冷却。
可用强风对设备外进行强制散热，但切勿直接接触液体散热。

within 90 days, customer should provide video and pictures as
proof, we will bear the freight cost and provide customer the

操作方法
打开发动机盖，将检测设备挂在发动机前盖上。
打开需要检测的系统的接入口，将检测专用接头同被检系统无
缝连接。如果被检系统存在多个开放出口，请用相应的橡胶堵
头堵死。
用检测设备出烟管上的锥形快接头同被检体专用接头连接。
用DC12V电池连接检测设备：红色带正极，黑色带负极。不要
以相反的方式连接。
电池取电正确时，烟气自带气泵将开始工作向外输出气流。
打开检测设备前端电源开关，检测设备将以6L/min的速度向被
检体内部输入烟雾，管道充满烟雾后，泄漏点将向外泄漏烟雾。
为提升检测效果，可使用强光灯照射。

检测设备使用完后，请将电线、管道及相关配件收纳好。

保养维护
在长时间的高温下，烟和油会氧化和变质。它会影响烟雾产生部
分的使用寿命，所以请定期更换测试用油。
在加注新油之前，请倒出检测设备中剩余的测试油。
当烟雾输出有水滴时，请重新更换测试油。

备注：液体石蜡和婴儿油均可使用。
请用准备好的油瓶装满新油。
