Collegamenti
Configurazione alto arlanti:
STEREO - per il colle amento stereo ese uire i cabla i rappresentati dalle linee continue per li
altoparlanti destro e sinistro (SPK RIGHT e SPK LEFT), l'impedenza complessiva de li altoparlanti non deve
essere inferiore a 2 Ohm per canale.
MONO - per il colle amento mono ese uire i cabla i rappresentati dalle linee tratte iate per
l'altoparlante mono (SUBWOOFER) l'impedenza (o complessiva se sono più altoparlanti) non deve essere
inferiore a 4 Ohm .
TRIMODE - per il colle amento trimode ese uire il cabla io completo come da dise no, per l'altoparlante
mono (SUBWOOFER) l'impedenza non deve essere inferiore ad 8 Ohm, per li altoparlanti destro e sinistro
(SPK RIGHT e SPK LEFT) l'impedenza complessiva non deve essere inferiore a 4 Ohm.

Potenza:
Se uendo le indicazioni del capitolo “Scelta cavo alimentazione”, presente in questo manuale, individuare
la sezione del cavo da utilizzare ed ese uire il colle amento all'accumulatore come mostrato in Fi 2.
In prossimità del polo positivo, entro 20-30cm, è necessario interporre un fusibile di ade uata portata ed a
tenuta sta na (se la batteria è allo iata nel vano motore).
Il colle amento a massa (GND), normalmente, avviene colle ando allo chassis dell'auto il morsetto “GND”
dell'amplificatore, quando ese uite questa operazione, assicuratevi di trovare un punto di massa sicuro ed
affidabile, se necessario, provvedere a rimuovere impurità, residui di vernici etc. per arantire il mi lior
contatto possibile.
REMOTE control:
E' il connettore per l'accensione remota dell'amplificatore, il contatto da utilizzare è di tipo “FASTON”
femmina PREISOLATO da 4,8mm.
Controllare attentamente che il connettore non tocchi lo chassis
RCA audio IN:
Sono i connettori RCA femmina per l'in resso del se nale audio da amplificare, colle arli all'autoradio
tramite un cavo schermato di buona qualità per non de radare le performance del prodotto e scon iurare
l'insor ere di ronzii.
FUSE inside:
Sul lato sinistro dell'amplificatore (vedi Fi . 2) è allo iato il fusibile interno di protezione, accessibile
to liendo
le due viti presenti nella parte superiore dell'amplificatore e to liendo il coperchio.
Suggerimenti:
–Per serrare le viti della morsettiera è consi liabile utilizzare un cacciavite piatto di dimensioni
ade uate.
–Non utilizzate capicorda sui cavi, il sistema a carrello acco lie e serra in modo ade uato anche i cavi
relativamente fini.
–Controllare il corretto fissa io dei cavi una volta serrate le morsettiere.
–Fissare l'amplificatore in modo da poter accedere alle re olazioni una volta installato.
–Mantenere uno spazio di almeno 2,5cm ai lati, in prossimità delle feritoie, per permettere il
corretto flusso d'aria.

Controlli
Filtro assa basso:
1 – Re olazione continua del filtro passa basso.
2 – Pulsante per l'inserimento del filtro passa basso. Disinserito Inserito
Filtro assa alto:
3 – Re olazione continua del filtro passa alto.
4 – Pulsante per l'inserimento/disinserimento del filtro passa alto. Disinserito Inserito
Sensibilità:
5 – Re olazione continua della sensibilità, ruotarlo con cacciavite piatto.
LEDs:
LED BLU, indica l'accensione dell'amplificatore.
LED ROSSO, indica l'intervento del sistema di protezione.
THRU-PASS: :
Per chi volesse utilizzare l'amplificatore in modo
“puro”, senza nessun componente prima dello stadio
amplificatore, può farlo.
Per ese uire questa operazione è necessario aprire il
coperchio dell'amplificatore ed a ire sui jumper (vedi
fi .4) spostandoli dalla posizione NOR (setta io di
fabbrica) alla posizione DIR.
La sensibilità massima sarà di 1,5Vrms.
N.B. L'amplificatore NON attiva il se nale audio senza
alcun jumper inserito.

Note er l'installazione
Una corretta installazione arantisce prestazioni mi liori,
se uite questi su erimenti nella fase di monta io.
-Utilizzare solamente cavi schermati per il colle amento del se nale audio tra autoradio ed
amplificatore, non è indispensabile utilizzare cavi costosissimi, ma NON utilizzate cavi pessimi!
-L’utilizzo di connettori RCA di buona qualità arantisce un buon contatto, duraturo nel tempo ed
affidabile anche dopo svariate operazioni di inserimento e disinserimento.
-I cavi schermati si devono mantenere a una distanza minima di 10cm c.a. da eventuali eneratori di
disturbi dell’auto, come centraline, pompe, cavi ecc.
-Per i colle amenti di potenza utilizzate solamente cavi a norme, di sezioni ade uate e protetti nel
vano motore. I cavi per applicazioni car-audio sono molto flessibili quindi facilmente installabili.
-L’utilizzo di conduttori esa eratamente sovradimensionati darà risultati sicuramente mi liori ma
non apprezzabili (se non nelle competizioni più estreme) oltre che rendere più onerosa e difficile
l’installazione.
-Curate attentamente la stesura dei cavi ed operate in modo da far se uire percorsi diversi ai cavi
se nale da quelli di potenza.
-E’ buona norma che la massa de li amplificatori sia colle ata nello stesso punto, assieme a quella
dell’autoradio. Esempio: se nel baule ci sono due amplificatori, trovare un buon punto di massa per
li amplificatori stessi e portare nello stesso punto, tramite un cavo (3-5mm) la massa
dell’autoradio.
-Fissate l’amplificatore in modo sicuro, onde evitare il suo movimento ed il conse uente
“strattonamento” dei cavi.
-Un impianto ben curato ed allestito può implicare l’incassamento di vari dispositivi, se ciò avviene,
assicurare l’ade uata aerazione del luo o in cui ven ono installati li amplificatori, ma ari con
l’ausilio di una ventilazione forzata supplementare per far circolare l'aria all'interno dei vari
comparti.

Diagnostica
In condizioni normali, ad amplificatore acceso, il led blu si illumina e tutto funziona correttamente; o ni
condizione di uasto durante il funzionamento è visualizzata dall'accensione del led rosso.
Qui di se uito le più comuni casistiche di uasto e potenziali soluzioni.
PROBLEMA PROBABILE CAUSA
Si accende il led rosso e non si sente l'audio. Controllare che non ci siano cortocircuiti sull'uscita
altoparlanti e che l'impedenza di carico sia entro i
limiti dichiarati o che l'amplificatore non sia troppo
caldo.
L'amplificatore non si accende. Controllare il fusibile interno (vedi fi .2 nel
para rafo “colle amenti”) e quello lun o la linea di
alimentazione (normalmente nelle vicinanze
dell'accumulatore).
Controllare che il remote control sia presente.
L'amplificatore si accende normalmente ed il led
rosso non è acceso ma non si sente l'audio.
Controllare che i jumper per attivare la funzione
“thru-pass” siano presenti, vedere para rafo
“controlli”.
Controllare anche che il se nale audio sia presente
in in resso.
L'audio è molto distorto e/o di bassa qualità Controllare il corretto setta io dei filtri presenti e
la corretta impostazione della sensibilità.
SUGGERIMENTI
Se il fusibile si brucia spesso, controllare il carico dell’amplificatore e lo stato de li altoparlanti.
Se appena sostituito il fusibile si brucia istantaneamente, senza accendere l’amplificatore, non
insistete, fate controllare il dispositivo da un centro autorizzato.
Questo amplificatore è stato pro ettato per suonare bene ed essere performante, ma non
esa erate con i carichi troppo ostici (inferiori a quelli dichiarati), anche se le protezioni non
interven ono si possono manifestare delle anomalie.

Scelta cavi otenza e alto arlanti
Il se uente sistema di calcolo ed individuazione del cavo non è in assoluto il più “ iusto” in quanto
tantissime aziende (non solo in ambito audio) hanno dei propri standard per determinare le portate
massime dei conduttori, funzione anche dei luo hi di destinazione, delle temperature d’utilizzo ecc.
Comunque, utilizzando questa tabella, si può pressoché arantire che la perdita in tensione massima non
supera i 0,4V se si ha un occhio di ri uardo per le connessioni (distributori ecc.) e se consideriamo una
tipolo ia di rame standard.
Metodo di calcolo sezione cavo di POTENZA:
-Una volta scelta la confi urazione dell’amplificatore (stereo, mono, multicanale etc.) fare la somma
della potenza RMS totale che chiameremo “PotRMS”.
-Sce liere la tensione di lavoro, normalmente si opta per 13,00 “ olt”.
-Stimare il rendimento “ŋ” che normalmente vale:
50% per amplificatore classe AB in stereo @ 2 Ohm
(o amplificatore stereo a ponte @ 4Ohm)
60% per amplificatore classe AB in stereo @ 4 Ohm
70% per amplificatore in classe D
Infine ese uiamo questo semplice calcolo:
PotRMS / Volt / (ŋ/100) = Am ere
E troveremo la corrente necessaria in Ampere, utilizzando le tabelle nell'APPENDIX A, individuiamo la
sezione del cavo necessaria, come mostrato nell'esempio se uente:
Potenza RMS = 125+125Wrms=250Wrms=”PotRMS”
Tensione di lavoro = 13,00 “ olt”
Rendimento = 60% = “ŋ”
Ese uiamo il calcolo : 250/13/(60/100)= 32 Ampere
Ora, prendendo in considerazione la tabella “POWER CABLE SELECTION” nell'Appendix A, individuiamo
nella colonna “REQUIRED CURRENT” il valore più prossimo che comprende il nostro valore di 32 Ampere,
prendiamo quindi la ri a “40A”. Dovendo, per esempio, installare l’amplificatore con un cavo lun o 4 mt
per il positivo e 1 metro per il ne ativo (totale 5 mt) la colonna da incrociare è quella si lata “5mt”. Tale
incrocio mostra un valore di 13,33mmq che, comparandolo alla tabella “CONVERSION AWG <> mmq”,
corrisponde alla si latura americana AWG=6.
Metodo di calcolo sezione dei cavi ALTOPARLANTI:
I=sqr(P/R)
Dove I è la corrente richiesta
sqr è l'operazione di radice quadrata
P è la potenza (rms) ero ata a li altoparlanti
R è l'impedenza del sistema pilotato
Esempio:
Potenza ero ata P=500W
Impedenza del sistema R=2 Ohm (per esempio una coppia di woofer da 4 Ohm in parallelo)
Avremo I=sqr(500/4) da cui I = 11,1 A

Garanzia del rodotto
Audio Solution copre questo prodotto in aranzia per un periodo di due anni, farà fede lo scontrino/fattura
del ne oziante.
Nel caso si verifichino dei malfunzionamenti dovuti a difetti di costruzione, il dispositivo verrà riparato dalla
Audio Solution (o dele ati) senza nessun costo per il cliente, al quale spetteranno le sole spese di
spedizione.
E’ indispensabile, per usufruire della aranzia, che il prodotto ven a ritornato al Vostro rivenditore con lo
scontrino o la fattura che ne comprovi la data di acquisto.
Il prodotto che verrà ritornato alla Audio Solution verrà riparato in o ni caso, addebitando il costo nel caso
la aranzia risulti scoperta.
La aranzia non è valida nei se uenti casi:
-Il prodotto è danne iato da uso scorretto.
-Il prodotto è asso ettato a incidente o alterato.
-Il prodotto non è stato riparato da Audio Solution o dele ati.
-Il prodotto è stato colle ato/installato in modo errato.
-Il prodotto è stato destinato ad uso sba liato.
Regole di sicurezza
- Questo apparecchio è ideato per funzionare solamente a 12V ricavati dalla batteria dell’automobile, non
tentate di alimentarlo con 220VAC!
- Installate il dispositivo in modo solido, tale da non influire sulla uida del conducente anche durante
manovre repentine.
- Anche se pro ettato per funzionare con temperature da 0° a 40° non posizionate il dispositivo in luo hi
molto caldi (come il vano motore).
- Assicuratevi che la posizione di installazione non sia so etta ad elevata umidità e/o a spruzzi d’acqua.
- Ese uite colle amenti solidi e sicuri, usando solamente cavi di ade uata sezione e tipolo ia.
- E’ assolutamente indispensabile installare un fusibile di ade uato valore nelle vicinanze dell’accumulatore
(batteria).
- Non aprire mai il dispositivo, in caso di uasto contattare l’installatore/venditore per l’eventuale
riparazione.
- Nella fase di installazione/disinstallazione e manutenzione è assolutamente necessario to liere il fusibile
posto nelle vicinanze dell’accumulatore (batteria).
- Se il dispositivo subisce forti shock tali da danne iare visibilmente lo chassis fatelo visionare dal centro
assistenza o da un installatore professionista.
- Mantenete il dispositivo pulito e non ostruite la normale areazione dello chassis, per la pulizia non
utilizzate deter enti a ressivi.
–Le manutenzioni consentite all’utilizzatore sono la taratura e la sostituzione di eventuali fusibili (con
identiche caratteristiche).

Connections
S eaker configuration:
STEREO: for the stereo connection, make the wirin represented by the solid lines for the left and ri ht
speakers (SPK RIGHT and SPK LEFT), the overall impedance of the speakers must not be less than 2 Ohm per
channel.
MONO: for mono connection make the wirin represented by the dotted lines for the mono speaker
(SUBWOOFER) the impedance (or overall if there are more speakers) must not be less than 4 Ohm.
TRIMODE: for the trimode connection, make the complete wirin as shown in the drawin , for the mono
speaker (SUBWOOFER) the impedance must not be less than 8 Ohm, for the left and ri ht speakers (SPK
RIGHT and SPK LEFT) the total impedance must not be be less than 4 Ohm.

Followin the instructions in the chapter "Choosin the power supply cable" in this manual, identify the
section of the cable to use and connect it to the accumulator as shown in Fi 2.
Near the positive pole, within 20-30cm, it is necessary to insert a fuse of adequate capacity and waterproof
(if the battery is housed in the en ine compartment).
The round connection (GND) normally occurs by connectin the "GND" terminal of the amplifier to the car
chassis, when you do this, make sure you find a safe and reliable round point, if necessary, remove
impurities, paint residues etc. to ensure the best contact.
REMOTE control:
It is the connector for remote switchin on of the amplifier, the contact to be used is a 4.8mm PRE-
INSULATED female “FASTON” type.
Check carefully that the connector does not touch the chassis of the amplifier.
RCA audio IN:
These are the female RCA connectors for the input of the audio si nal to be amplified, connect them to the
car radio usin a ood quality shielded cable in order not to de rade the performance of the product and
avoid the onset of hum.
FUSE inside:
On the left side of the amplifier (see Fi . 2) there is the internal protection fuse, accessible by removin
the two screws on the top of the amplifier and removin the cover.
Ti s:
–To ti hten the terminal block screws, it is advisable to use a flat screwdriver of suitable size.
–Do not use cable lu s, the carria e system accommodates and ti htens even relatively thin cables
adequately.
–Check the correct fixin of the cables once the terminal blocks have been ti htened.
–Do install the amplifier in a way you can access to the adjustments once installed.
–Maintain a space of at least 3cm on the sides, near the slots, to allow correct air flow.

Controls
Low-Pass filter:
1 – Continuous adjustment of the Low-pass filter.
2 – Button for turn on/off the Low-pass filter. Off On
HI- ass filter:
3 – Continuous adjustment of the HI-pass filter.
4 – Button for for turn 0n/off the Hi-pass filter. Off On
Sensibilità:
5 – Continuous sensitivity adjustment.
LEDs:
BLUE LED, indicates the power on of the amplifier.
RED LED, indicates the protection on, thermal or overload.
THRU-PASS: :
For those who want to use the amplifier in a "pure"
way, without any component before the amplifier
sta e, can do it.
To perform this operation it is necessary to open the
amplifier's cover and act on the jumpers (see fi . 4)
movin them from the NOR position (factory settin )
to the DIR position.
The maximum sensitivity will be 1.5Vrms.
N.B. The amplifier does NOT activate the audio si nal
without any jumper inserted.

Notes for installation
Correct installation uarantees better performance,
follow these tips in the assembly phase.
-Use only shielded cables to connect the audio si nal between the car radio and amplifier, it is not
essential to use very expensive cables, but DO NOT use bad cables!
-The use of ood quality RCA connectors uarantees a ood, lon -lastin and reliable contact even
after several insertion and disconnection operations.
-Shielded cables must be kept at a minimum distance of 10cm c.a. from any car noise enerators,
such as control units, pumps, cables, etc.
-For power connections do use only cable with adequate cross-sections and protected in the en ine
compartment. The cables for car-audio applications are very flexible and therefore easy to install.
-The use of excessively oversized conductors will certainly ive better but not appreciable results (if
not in the most extreme competitions) as well as makin installation more expensive and difficult.
-Pay attention to the layin of the cables and operate in such a way as to make the si nal cables
follow different paths from the power cables.
-It is ood practice that the mass of the amplifiers is connected at the same point, to ether with
that of the car radio. Example: if there are two amplifiers in the trunk, find a ood round point for
the amplifiers themselves and brin the car radio round to the same point, usin a cable (3-
5mm).
-Mount the amplifier secure way, to avoid its movement and the consequent "jerkin " of the cables.
-A well cared installation may involve the embeddin of various devices, if this occurs, ensure
adequate ventilation of the place where the amplifiers are installed, perhaps with the aid of
additional forced ventilation.

Diagnostics
Under normal conditions, with the amplifier on, the blue LED li hts up and everythin works correctly; any
fault condition durin operation is displayed by the red LED li htin up.
Below are the most common failure cases and potential solutions.
PROBLEM PROBABLE CAUSE
The red led li hts up and the audio is not heard. Check that there are no short circuits on the speaker
output and that the load impedance is within the
stated limits or that the amplifier is not too hot.
The amplifier does not turn on. Check the internal fuse (see fi . 2 in the
“connections” para raph) and the one alon the
power supply line (normally near the accumulator).
Check that the remote control is present.
The amplifier turns on normally and the red led is
not lit but the audio is not heard.
Check that the jumpers to activate the “thru-pass”
function are present, see the “controls” para raph.
Also check that the audio si nal is bein input.
The audio is very distorted and / or of low quality Check the correct settin of the filters and the
correct settin of the sensitivity.
TIPS
If the fuse blows often, check the amplifier load and the state of the speakers.
If just replaced the fuse blows instantly, without turnin on the amplifier, do not insist, brin the
device checked to an authorized center.
This amplifier has been desi ned to sound ood and loud, but do not exa erate with too difficult
loads (lower than those declared), even if the protections do not turn on, anomalies may occur.

Choice of ower and s eakers cable
The followin system for calculatin and identifyin the cable is not the most "ri ht", many companies (not
only in the audio sector) have their own standards to determine the ri ht section of the conductors, it
dependin on the destination and the temperatures of use etc.
However, usin this table, it can be almost uaranteed that the maximum volta e loss does not exceed 0.4V
if you pay attention for connections and if we consider a standard quality of copper.
Calculation of the POWER cable section:
-Once you have chosen the amplifier confi uration (stereo, mono, multichannel etc.), add the total
RMS power which we will call "PotRMS".
-Choose the workin volta e, normally you opt for 13.00 " olt".
-Estimate the efficiency "ŋ" that is normally valid:
50% AB class amplifier in stereo @ 2 Ohm
(or brid e mono @ 4Ohm)
60% AB class amplifier in stereo @ 4 Ohm
70% D class amplifier
Finally we perform this simple calculation:
PotRMS / olt / (ŋ/100) = Ampere
And we will find the necessary current in Amperes, usin the tables on the next pa e we identify the
necessary cable section, as shown in the followin example.
Example:
Power RMS = 125+125Wrms=250Wrms=”PotRMS”
Volta e = 13,00 “ olt”
Efficiency = 60% = “ŋ”
Perform this calculation : 250/13/(60/100)= 32 Ampere

Calculation of the SPEAKERS cable section:
I=sqr(P/R)
Where I is the required current
sqr is the square root operation
P is the power (rms) delivered to the speakers
R is the impedance of the driven system
Example:
Power delivered P=500W
Impedance of the system R=2 Ohm (example a couple of woofer that has 4Ohm impedance installed in
parallel)
We'll have I=sqr(500/4) so the current is I = 11,1 A

Product warranty
Audio Solution covers this product under warranty for a period of two years, accordin to the sales receipt /
invoice.
In the event of malfunctions due to manufacturin defects, the device will be repaired by Audio Solution (or
dele ates) at no cost to the customer, who will only pay the shippin costs.
To take advanta e of the uarantee, it is essential that the product is returned to your dealer with the
receipt or invoice that proves the date of purchase.
The product that will be returned to Audio Solution will be repaired in any case, char in the cost if the
warranty is discovered.
The warranty is not valid in the followin cases:
-The product is dama ed by incorrect use.
-The product is subject to accident or alteration.
-The product has not been repaired by Audio Solution or dele ates.
-The product was connected / installed incorrectly.
-The product was intended for wron use.
Safety rules
- This device is desi ned to work only at 12V taken from the car battery, do not try to power it with
220VAC!
- Install the device securely so that it does not affect the driver's drivin .
- Althou h desi ned to operate in temperatures from 0 ° to 40 °, do not place the device in very hot places
(such as the en ine compartment).
- Make sure that the installation location is not subject to hi h humidity and / or water splashes.
- Make solid and safe connections, usin only cables of ri ht section and type.
- It is absolutely essential to install a fuse of ri ht value near the accumulator (battery).
- Never open the device, in case of failure, contact the installer / seller for any repairs.
- Durin the installation / uninstallation and maintenance, it is absolutely necessary to remove the fuse
located near the accumulator (battery).
- If the device is subjected to severe shocks that visibly dama e the chassis, have it inspected by the service
center or a professional installer.
–Keep the device clean and do not obstruct the normal ventilation of the chassis, for cleanin do not
use a ressive deter ents.
–The maintenance allowed to the user is the calibration and replacement of any fuses (with identical
characteristics).
