About HOP and PAIR Functions
Each Audioengine W2 Sender and Receiver set are
Paired out of the box, so if you're only using one set no
further configuration is needed. However, if you wish
-to
Pair and Hop to multiple AW2 Receivers refer to the
following instructions.
Pairing
Pairing is afunction by which aSender and Receiver
become acquainted. Once aSender and Receiver are
Paired, they will remember each other.
You
can "Pair" a
Sender to more than one Receiver and then "Hop"
between each, or vice-versa.
Pairing aSender and Receiver:
1) Plug the Sender into your iPod and play music so the
Sender status indicator light is on solid.
2) Press and hold the button on the Sender for about 3
seconds until the status indicator light blinks rapidly.
3) While the Sender's indicator light is still blinking
rapidly, momentarily press the button on the Receiver.
4) The Sender and Receiver's status indicators will both
go solid, indicating that they are Paired.
5) Repeat these steps to Pair additional Senders or
Receivers.

Note: Up to 8Receivers may be Paired with one
Sender, allowing the Sender to Hop to multiple Receiv-
ers, one at atime. More than one Sender may also
be
Paired to asingle Receiver, if desired.
Hopping between Senders and Receivers:
1)
Momentarily press the button on the Sender. The
status indicator will blink slowly and then go solid,
indicating that it has Hopped to the next Paired
Receiver
in
your system.
2)
Press the Sender button again to continue Hopping
to other Receivers.
You
may Hop to up to 8Paired
Receivers, one at atime.

Troubleshooting
If
no music is playing from your AW2 Sender/Receiver
pair, try the following tips.
Sender and/or Receiver status indicators are not lit:
•Check that the Receiver's power supply is connected
to AC power.
•Check that your iPod is playing music (the Sender's
status indicator will be off when no music is playing).
Sender and/or Receiver status indicators are blinking
slowly:
•Sender and Receiver may be out of range.
•Repeat the Sender/Receiver Pairing process (see
"About Pair and Hop Functions" section).
Sender and/or Receiver status indicators are both
solidly lit, but no music:
•Check that your music system is set to the audio input
connected to the Receiver.
•Unplug and reconnect the audio cable from the
Receiver to your music system.
•Check that your iPod is playing music.
