Once you properly installed and connected cables of the receiver, the menu will be
displayed.
This menu consistsof 6 majormain menus asfollow.
- Channel Manager
- Program Guide
- Timer
- User Installation
- Game andRCV info
- Conditional Access
During the installation the OK key confirms a selection and LIST key shows Down
List Box if the column has 34 mark. You can also use the numeric keys on the RCU
to enter numericvalue.
Use the PR+,PR- key to move upwards and downwards from one line to another line
and use key to move from main menu to sub menu and move from left side to
right side orversa.
Meantime, you want to escape the menu system, please press EXIT key on the RCU.

Reset DiSEqC limit:
If you want to reset the East limit or West
limit, place a cursor on Reset DiSEqC Limit
button and then press OK key on the RCU.
The message of Would you like to reset
limit for DiSEqC positioner? will be
displayed for your confirmation. Select OK
button by pressingOK key on the RCU.
The cursor will move to the East limit button
so that you can reset the limit. After that,
please reset West limit same as before.
After setting all necessaries, please EXIT to finish antenna setup menu. The
message of Are you sure to change the configuration of Antenna setup? will be
displayed. Please selectOK button on the screen and then wait for saving a data.

Search Programs:
If you select Search Satellite button (green
colour key), the searching window will pop
up. System will search all TV and Radio
programs under this satellite. After
searching, press OK key to view the
searched programs, or press EXIT key to
return toAntenna Setup window.
Antenna Setup-2) USALS
1)Antenna : You can select maximum 16
antenna with thecombination switches.
2) Type : Select your antenna type to be
Fixed.
3) Satellite : Select satelliteyou want.
4) LNB Type : Select your LNB type. If you
have universal LNB,select Univ.
5) LNB Freq. : Enter the proper LNB
frequency referring to your LNB using
numeric key onthe RCU.

If you havea dual LNB,enter the propervalue in the both of value box.
6) Switches (0/12 Volt, 22KHz Tone, DiSEqC) : You can select the switches with
which you wantto configure theantenna.
7) Transponder: Select thetransponder you want.
East, West Limit :
If you select Limit Setup button, Limit Setup menu will pop up. Press Ekey on the
RCU continuously reaches to the easternmost point and then press OK key on the
RCU. The message of Would you like to set East limit of DiSEqC motor? will be
displayed for your confirmation. Please cursor on the OK button on the screen and
press OK key on theRCU to confirmthe East limit.
Toset West limit, take thesame steps asEast limit.
Reset DiSEqC limit:
If you want to reset the East limit or West limit, place a cursor on Reset DiSEqC Limit
button and then press OK key on theRCU. The message of Would you like to reset
limit for DiSEqC positioner? will be displayed for your confirmation. Select OK
button by pressingOK key on theRCU.
The cursor will move to the East limit button so that you can reset the limit. After that,
please reset West limit sameas before.
Search Programs:
If you select Search Satellite button (green colour key), the searching window will
pop up. System will search all TV and Radio programs under this satellite. After
searching, press OK key to view the searched programs, or press EXIT key to return
to AntennaSetup window.
USALS Setup Menu
If you select USALS Setup Menu button
(blue colour key), the USALS Setup Menu
will pop up. Through this menu, you can
position your antennacorrectly.
Satellite: The satellite is the same satellite
as Antennaitem inAntenna Setup window.
In case the location of the satellite is
changed, you canre-set the newlocation.

After setting all necessaries, please EXIT to finish antenna setup menu. The
message of Are you sure to change the configuration of Antenna setup? will be
displayed. Please selectOK button on thescreen and then wait for saving a data.

Your longitude and Your latitude: Enter the value of the longitude and the latitude
of your location.
If you enter the correct value of your position, place your cursor to the Go To Sat
Position button. Once OK key is pressed on this button, system will position your
antenna to thesatellite automatically. Please inpatience to waitthe process.

If you want to restore the original position of the antenna, please select Go To 0
button and pressOK key. Please in patience to wait the process.

1)Antenna : You can select maximum 16

4) LNB Type : Select your LNB type. If you

you want..
After setting all necessaries, please EXIT to finish antenna setup menu. The
message of Are you sure to change the configuration of Antenna setup? will be
displayed. Please selectOK button on thescreen and thenwait for savinga data.

When you want to change the setting in each
item, you will get the locked signal condition
by the color and the height of Signal Bar at
the right side, after changing the setting of
the items. Yellow means being locked, Gray
means being unlocked, and the height
means the strengthand quality of the signal..
Antenna Setup-4) Strength Bar
1) Antenna : Select your antenna number.
Channel Search-1)DiSEqC 1.2
2) Satellite : The satellite here is
determined by the selected number in above
Antenna item.
You can see the information of selected
satellite in theright side.
Edit Mode : If you want to edit those
preprogrammed data such as Transponder,
Frequency, Symbol Rate, Polarization and
22 KHz, please press Edit mode key (Red
color key) on the RCU. And then you can
move into those columns to change the
value.
3) Position : After selecting a satellite,
please select Position button and then keep
pressing or key on the RCU until
selected satellite is locked. If the satellite is
locked correctly, the color of signal label bar
will be changedto yellow.
When you press OK key on the RCU, the
message of "Would you like to set the
value of current positioner?" will be
displayed for yourconfirmation.

Channel Search-2) Fixed System Setting
1) Antenna : Select your antenna number.
2) Satellite : Select desired a satellite using
34 keys or if you press OK key, the list of
satellite will be displayed so that you can
select easily.
You can see the information of selected
satellite in theright side.
3) Edit Mode : If you want to edit those
preprogrammed data such as Transponder,
Frequency, Symbol Rate, Polarization and
22 KHz, please press EDIT mode key (Red
color key) on the RCU to display the
command box. And then you can move to
those columns tochange the value.
4) ~ 14) Please refer to DiSEqC 1.2 type
antenna.
1) OSD Language : Select your desired
language.
2) Audio Language : Select yourdesired
audio language tobe in the top priority under
the condition thatthis language is supported
from the channel.

System Setting
System Setting menu allows you to change
the principal option and to set other items
proper to your environment by pressing OK
key on theRCU.

Since the sameoperation, please referto the aboveChannel Search-1) DiSEqC1.2.
Note: Please make sure that you have inputted the correct parameters of your local
longitude and latitudein USALS Setup Menuof Antenna Setup -2)USALS.

5) Screen Format : If your TV supports the
16:9 screen format and if the selected
channel provides 16:9 format programs,
please select 16:9.
6) Video output : If your SCART supports
RGB control, select RGB. Otherwise select
CVBS.
7) TV type : Select the type according to
your TV type.
9) Start On Channel : Press the OK key, to display the channel list and select the
channel that youwant to startwhenever you switch on the receiver.
8) TransparentRate Adjustment:
Transparent Rate is used to adjust the
transparence level of all the menus
appearing on the screen from most
transparent (value =1) to opacity(value = 15).
4) VIDEO FORMAT : Select the desired
video format among LETTER BOX,
PAN_SCAN, COMBINED, IGNORE.
3) LNB power : If your receiver is connected to a LNB, select YES. However if your
receiver is connected to another receiver through Loop Through support, you should
check which receiver is connected directly to the LNB. In case it is the otherreceiver,
select OFF.
10) UHF Standard: Select UHFtype.
11) UHFChannel : Select thedesired UHF channel for satellite mode.
Note : In countrieswhere UHF is not used options 10) and 11) are needless and may
be deleted.

TIMER
Set local time: Adjustyour local time.
Summer time : If you are in summer time,
select ON.
Note : TimeAdjust isdefault for thefirst time.
The TIMER function allows you to program the timer with various ways. This function
is one ofthe strong pointof the receiver.
To activate the Turn On Time and/or Turn Off Time , select YES and enter your
desired time.
Note : The receiver display the time which is given by satellite, so there may be some
differences between actual time andthe receiver's time.

Time Reservation allows you to program the
various timer function.
To activate the Turn on time and/or Turn off
the time , select YES and enter your desired
time.
And you can also select channel which will
be turn onor turn off.
You can set the timer daily, weekly, monthly
and yearly.

Game
ANTENNA DIRECTIONHELP
System has provided several games to enjoy
your life. Select Game item in the Game and
RCV info sub menu, and press OK key to
enter into its window.

It consists six games of Russia Box, Greedy
snake, Ball, Five chess, Black-White chess,
and Push box.
Select the game that you want to play and
press OK key to enterinto its window.
In each game window, If you don't know how
to play it, please press INFO key on the RCU
for help.

Card Information
Click the Conditional Access menu, you can
find items about Conax CA (Conditional
Access). Which include four submenus: Card
Information, Change PIN, Maturity Level
and Subscription Status.
The Card Information submenu will show you the smart card information, such as
Card Status, CASSystem ID, CardNumber, andMaturity Level etc.
Card Status indicates whether the smart card is inserted or not. If there is a smart
card inserted in the smart card slot, Card Status item will display "Card Inserted",
otherwise "No Card" will displayed. CAS System ID will display "0B00(CONAX)" if a
Conax Smart card is inserted.Interface Version item, just as its name, will show you
the version of the Interface.Card Number, will display the card serial number in 10
Arabic numerals. Maturity Level item will show you the current maturity level setting.
For changing thematuritylevel, you cando this inMaturity level submenu.
Change PIN
Change PIN submenuis design forchanging the smartcard's PIN, whichis required if
you want changethe maturity levelsettings.
In order to change the PIN the must know the current PIN also called the old PIN.
Input the Current PIN and twice the PIN (New PIN and ConfirmPIN must be the same)
your want to set, then click change PIN button, a dialog will tell you changing PIN
succeed or failed!
Note that thePIN can onlyconstructed with Arabic numerals. The original PIN is set as
1234.
Maturity Level
In Maturity levelsubmenu, you canchange the smartcard's maturity level,which will
affect whether scrambled program isgranted or not.
You can select four maturity levels: For the family, With parental guidance, Over 18,
Erotic. In orderto change thematurity level youmust enter thecorrect PIN. Ifall of the
items are satisfied, then you can click Change Maturity Level button. A dialog will tell
you whether yourchange is succeededor not.
