Self-powered two-way loudspeaker
FORGE 15A is a self-powered two-way loudspeaker
that features a 15" speaker and 1" driver. With a
nominal power of 415W RMS and a maximum SPL
(@ 1M) of 128dB, this loudspeaker is ideal for sound
reinforcement in medium-scale applications. The
cabinet, built in ultra-resistant plastic, has an in-
tegrated class D amplier. Given its versatility and
reliability, FORGE 15A can be used as either FOH or
stage monitor, thanks to its design.

1. use only the recommended fuse type as indi-
cated in this manual. Do no short-circuit the
fuse holder. Before replaicing the fuse, make
sure that the product is OFF and disconnected
from the AC outlet.
2. Move this Equipment only with a cart, stand,
tripod, or bracket, specied by the manufac-
turer, or sold with the Equipment. When a cart
is used, use caution when moving the cart/
equipment combination to avoid possible inju-
ry from tip-over.
3. Permanent hearing loss may be caused by
expousure to extremely high noise levels. The
US Government´s Occupational Safety and
Health Administration (OSHA) has specied
the permissible exposure to noise level. These
are shown in the following chart:
According to OSHA, an exposure to high SPL in excess of these limits may result in the loss of heat. To
avoid the potential damage of heat, it is recommended that Personnel exposed to equipment capable of
generating high SPL use hearing protection while such equipment is under operation.
The apparatus shall be connected to mains socket outlet with a protective earthing connection.
The mains plug or an appliance coupler is used as the disconnect device, the disconnect device shall
remain readily operable.

4. INSTALLATION TIPS
• Thank you for choosing AMPRO. The new
FORGE SERIES cabinets have been designed
to provide a cost eective high grade solution
while maintainig high quality cabinet construc-
tion and optimum components. The FORGE
15A, can be used for all types of applications
including, but not limited to, churches, con-
ference centers and discos. The woofer and
driver combination provides excellent perfor-
mance rivaling those cabinets costing much
more.
• Speakers should be placed in a position that
allows for unobstructed sound projection. In
many instances it is benecial for speakers to
elevate on tripod stands to achieve maximum
dispersion and reach. Consider AMPRO speak-
er stand or equivalent to raise speakers.
• Using quality cables ensure best possible
sound. Consider using 16 or 14 gauge cables
or equivalent.
• Our Professional Audio Products are de-
signed and tested by a highly qualied
engineering team with more than 20 years
of experience. Great care is placed in deliv-

• For best results match the speakers to a
good amplier that matches the wattage and
impedance of your speakers. Proper ampli-

• Avoid pointing microphone directly at an
amplied speaker otherwise could cause

nents and your hearing.

5. QUICK START
Make all initial connections with all the equip-
ments powered o, and ensure that all the
main volume controls are turned completely
down.
1. Connect one side of the signal cable at your
audio mixer into output left / right (with
Stereo-Jack or XLR) and the other side of the
cable into the line input Stereo-Jack) of your
active speaker cabinet.
2. Connect the power cord to mains.
3. Turn on your mixer rst, then the active
speaker cabinets.
4. Turn up the volume control of the active
speaker cabinets.
5. Use PFL function to get the proper input
level for the mixer, and adjust the main mix
level control to manipulate the output level.
6. After using, turn o your active speaker cabi-
nets rst, then the mixer.

10. GUARANTEE
AMPRO guarantees the normal operation of the
product against any defect of manufacture and/or
vice of material, by the term of (12) month, count-
ed as of the date of purchase on the part of the
user, commiting itself to repair or to change, to its
election, without position some, any piece or com-
ponent that fail in normal conditions of use within
the mentioned period.
This guarantee is valid if the original buyer will
have to present/display this certicate properly
sealed and signed by the selling house, accom-
panied by the corresponding invoice of purchase
where is consisted the model and serial number of
the acquired equipment.
The guarantee does not cover:
• Damages caused by the illegal use of the prod-
uct, repair and/or noauthorized modication
conduced by people by AMPRO.
• Damages caused by connection of the quip-
ment to other equipment dierent from the
specied ones in the manual of use, or by bad
connection to these last ones.
• Damages caused by electrical storms, blows
and/or incorrect transport.
• Damages caused by excesses or falls of
tension in the network or by connection to
networks with a tension dierent from the
required one by the unit.
• Damages caused by the presence of sand, acid
of batteries, water, or any strange element
inside the equipment.
• Deteriorations produced by the course of the
time, use, and/or normal wear of the unit.
• Alteration of absence of the serial number of
factory of the equipment.
The repairs could only be carried out the author-
ized technical service by AMPRO, that will inform
about the term and other details into the repairs
to take place according to his guarantee.
AMPRO, will repair this unit in counted a term
nongreater to 30 days as of the date of entrance
of the unit to the Technical Service. In those cases
in that due to the particularitity of the spare part,
outside necessary their import, the repair time
and the viability of the same one will be subject
to the eective norms for the import of parts, in
which case one will inquire to the user about the
term and possibility into repair.
With the object of its correct operation, and of
the validity of this one guarantee, this product will
have to be installed and to be used according to
the instructions that are detailed in the manual
associate or the package of the product.
This unit will be able to appear for its repair, next
to the invoice of purchase (or any other proof
where the date of purchase consists), to its au-
thorized destributer AMPRO o an authorized
technical center on watch by AMPRO.
Exclusion of damages:
The responsibility of AMPRO by any defective
product is limited the repair or the replacement
of he himself, to AMPRO option. If we chose to
replace the product, the replacement can be a re-
conditioned unit. AMPRO will not be responsible
by the damages based on the lost, inconvenience,
loss of use, benets, lost savings, by the damage
to other equipment or other articles in the use
site, or by any other damage if he is fortuitous,
consequient or of another type, although AMPRO
has been noticed of the possibility of such damag-
es.
Some states do not allow to the exclusion or
the limitation to the fortuitous or consequent

5. Conexión a Tierra

9. Cable de alimentación y conexión
No altere el cable y el enchufe. Un enchufe pola-
rizado tiene 2 patas con una más ancha que la
otra. Un enchufe con toma a tierra posee 2 patas y
una tercera es la conexión a tierra. Son diseñados
teniendo en cuenta su seguridad. No quite la co-
nexión a tierra. Conecte el equipo a un tomaco-
rriente cercano, de fácil acceso y con protección a
tierra. Si su enchufe no entra en su tomacorriente
requiere la ayuda de un electricista calicado.
Proteja al cable y al enchufe de cualquier presión
física para evitar riesgo de choque eléctrico.
No coloque objetos pesados sobre el cable de
alimentación. Esto puede causar choque eléctrico
o fuego.
10. Limpieza
De ser necesario, sople el polvo del producto o
utilice un paño seco. No use solventes tales como:
bencina, alcohol u otro uido muy inamable y
volátil para limpiar el aparato.
11. Servicio Técnico
Para servicio técnico consulte solo con el personal
de servicio calicado. Para reducir el riesgo de
choque eléctrico, no realice ningún tipo de servi-
cio más allá del descripto en este manual.

4. INSTALACIÓN
• Gracias por haber adquirido Forge 15A. Este
altavoz ha sido diseñado con el n de brindar
una solución asequible, pero de alta calidad
que mantiene un alto nivel de construcción
con componentes de primera. Forge 15A es
muy versátil y puede utilizarse en iglesias,
centros de conferencias, discotecas, etc. La
combinación de woofer y driver proporcionan
un desempeño óptimo que nada tiene que
envidiarle a los equipos más costosos.
• Ubique los altavoces en una posición que
permita la proyección de sonido libre de ob-
strucciones. En algunos casos, se recomienda
elevar los altavoces sobre un trípode para
lograr mayor dispersión y alcance. También es
posible utilizar un soporte de altavoces.
• Utilice cables de alta calidad de entre 14 o
16 AWG (calibre de alambre estadounidense)
para garantizar el mejor sonido posible.

5. INICIO RÁPIDO
Antes de realizar todas las conexiones ini-
ciales, verique que todos los dispositivos
se encuentren apagados y que el volumen se
encuentre en el nivel mínimo.
1. Conecte un extremo del cable de señal en la
salida izquierda/derecha (conector Jack o XLR)
de su mezcladora de audio y el otro extremo,
en la entrada (conector Jack estéreo) del alta-
voz.
2. Conecte los cables al suministro eléctrico.
3. Encienda la mezcladora y luego los altavoces.
4. Suba el nivel de volumen de los altavoces
activos.
5. Utilice la función PFL de la mezcladora para
regular el nivel de entrada y modicar el ni-
vel de mezcla principal para controlar el nivel
de salida.
6. Cuando haya nalizado, apague los altavoces
activos y luego la mezcladora.
