whatfeaturesandoptionshave been installed. Consult your installing dealer foroptionsthat

YOUR“ANTI-CODEGRABBING“TRANSMITTERS:
The transmitters included with your new remote start system use the most advanced and
secure form of radio frequency transmission available on any current automotive remote
system.Some of today’ssophisticated auto thievesuse a deviceknown as a code grabber,
which will receive and store the signal from your keychain transmitter, and re-transmit at a
latertimetodisarmyoursystem.
Youranti-codegrabbingtransmitterswillchangetheirsignaleverytimethebuttonispressed,
sowhen a thief grabs then re-transmits your signal,the alarm system
willnot
respond.
Ifyourtransmitterbutton is pressed more thanfiftytimeswhile it is out ofrangeof the vehicle
(children playing with your keys), the transmitter will not operate when you return to the
vehicle,andwillneedtobere-aligned tothereceiver.Todothis,simplypresstheLockbutton
twotimes within a one second time period.The system will now respond to thattransmitter
eachtimeabutton is pressed.

ARMINGTHESYSTEM -ACTIVE:
1.Turn the engine off,exit the vehicle, andclose all doors, hoodand trunk.
2.Pressand release the Lock buttonofyour key chain transmitteronetime.
The parking lights will flash once, the siren will chirp once, and the dash
mountedLEDwillbegintoflashslowlyconfirming the system isarmed. Ifyou
havetheoptionaldoor lock/unlock circuit installed, thedoorswilllock.
Note:Ifthesirenchirpedthreetimes, then you have leftadoor,hood,ortrunk
ajar. Simplyclosingthatopeningwillprovide fullprotection.Ifyourvehiclehas
delayedinteriorlighting,youmayalsogetthreechirps whenarming. Oncethe
lightturnsoff,youwillhear one chirpconfirmingfullarming. Ifthesirendidnot
sound when arming, then the chirps have been turned off. Refer to the
sectionon"EliminatingtheArm/DisarmChirps"shownlaterinthis manual.
SILENTARMING- ACTIVE:
1.Turn the engine off,exit the vehicle, andclose all doors, hoodand trunk.
2.Press and hold the Lockbutton of your key chaintransmitter for two seconds.
The parking lights will flash once, and the dash mounted LED will begin to flash slowly
confirmingthe system isarmed. The siren will not chirp. Ifyou have theoptional door lock/
unlockcircuitinstalled, the doors willlock.
Note:If the siren chirps three times, then you have left a door, hood, or trunk ajar. Simply
closing that opening will provide full protection. If your vehicle has delayed interior
lighting,you may also get threechirps when arming. Once the light turns off, you will
hearonechirpconfirmingfullarming.
ARMINGTHESYSTEM - PASSIVE (AUTOMATIC):
Ifthepassive arming feature hasbeen selected:
1.Turn the engine off,exit the vehicle, andclose all doors, hoodand trunk.
ThedashmountedLEDwillbegin to flashrapidlyindicatingthatthe30secondpassivearming
timerhasbegun. IftheLEDdoesnotbegintoflashrapidly,thenyouhaveleftadoor, hood, or
trunkajar. Closing this entry point willallow the arming cycle will begin. If any entrypoint is
