Anwendung
Das Zweithörer-Set ermöglicht den An-
schluss eines Zweithörers an das wetterfe-
ste Telefon SafeTel.
Der Zweithörer ermöglicht es einer weiteren
Person am Telefongespräch teilzunehmen.
Außerdem kann er dazu verwendet werden,
Störungen durch starke Umweltgeräusche
bei einem Telefongespräch zu reduzieren.
Application
The Second Ear Piece Kit permits the con-
nection of a second ear piece to the
weather-Safeant telephone SafeTel.
The second ear piece enables another per-
son to listen in a telephone conversation.
Moreover it can be used to reduce consid-
erable disturbances due to ambient noise.

-Zweithörer mit dynamischer Hörkapsel
und Wendelschnur mit Kabelenden zum
Anklemmen an das SafeTel
-Kabelverschraubung (M20x1,5) IP66 zur
Einführung des Zweithörerkabels in das
SafeTel Gehäuse
-Bügel und Schrauben zum Aufhängen
des Zweithörers

Montage und Anschließen
Zur Befestigung des Bügels am SafeTel
sind in der Gehäuserückwand des Telefons
zwei Gewindebuchsen eingelassen. Der
Bügel weist entsprechende Bohrungen auf,
durch die, mittels Senkkopfschrauben, eine
Befestigung an das Telefon ermöglicht wird
(siehe Betriebsanleitung SafeTel). Somit
muss, bei Verwendung des Bügels, dieser
zuerst befestigt werden. Danach kann die
Wandmontage des Telefons erfolgen.
Mounting and Connection
For the attachment of the bracket there are
two built-
in threaded bushings in the rear
side of the SafeTel case. The bracket ha
s
mating drill holes through which it can be
fastened by means of flat head screws (see
operating manual of the SafeTel). So if you
want to use the bracket it has to be mounted
first on to the rear side of the SafeTel.
Afterwards the wall mounting of the tele-
phone can take place.
Zum Anschluss des Zweithörers ist einer am
Telefongehäuse des SafeTel befindlicher Ver-
schlussstopfen zu entfernen und die Ka-
belverschraubung (M20x1,5; IP66) vollständig
einzuschrauben. Das Kabelendstück des
Zweithörers wird durch die Kabelverschrau-
bung geführt und mit der Kabelverschrau-
bung fixiert. Die Kabelenden sind an die
Klemmen 7 und 8 im SafeTel anzuschlie-
ßen.
To connect the second ear piece remove
one of the sealing plugs to be found at the
bottom part of the SafeTel ca
se and srew in
the cable gland (M20x1.5 ; IP66) com-
pletely.
Lead the cable end of the second ear piece
through the cable gland, fasten the cord with
the cable gland and connect the wire ends
to the terminals 7 and 8 in the SafeTel.
Betrieb
Der Zweithörer ist aktiv, wenn Sie den Hörer
des Telefons SafeTel abheben. Die Laut-
stärke des Zweithörers wird geändert, wenn
die Lautstärke des Telefonhörers geändert
wird. Für das aktuelle Gespräch wird die
Lautstärke mit den +/- Tasten am SafeTel
verändert. Eine dauerhafte Änderung der
Hörer- und Zweithörerlautstärke ist über das
SafeTel Menu „Einstellungen / Hö-
rerlautstär.“ durchzuführen. Mit dem
Auflegen des SafeTel Telefonhörers wird
der Zweithörer abgeschaltet.
Operation
The second ear piece is active when you
hook off the handset of the telephone
SafeTel. The volume of the second ear
piece is changed with the volume of the
handset simultaneously. With the +/-
keys of
the SafeTel you can change the volume for
the actual conversation. If you want to
change the v
olume of handset and second
ear piece permanently use the SafeTel
menu „Settings / Handset Volume“.
The second ear piece is switched off when
you hook on the handset of the SafeTel.

Bei dem Betrieb des Zweithörers sind sind
die gesetzlichen und gewerblichen Vor-
schriften, Unfallverhütungsvorschriften so-
wie elektrische Bestimmungen zu beachten.
Vor einer Instandsetzung des Zweithörers
muss er vom SafeTel getrennt werden.

and electrical regulations / provisions.

Pflege und Wartung
Der Zweithörer ist wartungsfrei. Bei starker
Verschmutzung sollte dennoch von Zeit zu
Zeit eine Reinigung mit einem feuchten
Reinigungstuch durchgeführt werden. Zur
Reinigung niemals spitze Gegenstände
verwenden.
Maintenance
The second ear piece is maintenance-
free.
Nevertheless in case of dirtiness it should
be cleaned from time to time with a damp
cleaning cloth.
Never use sharp objects for cleaning.
Entsorgung
Die Komplettentsorgung des Zweithörers
erfolgt über den Elektronikschrottabfall. Bei
der Demontage sind die Komponenten
Kunststoff, Metall und Elektronik separat zu
entsorgen. In jedem Fall sind die Entsor-
gungsbedingungen des jeweiligen Einsatz-
landes zu beachten.
Waste Disposal
The second ear piece may be completely re-
cycled as electronic waste. Upon disassem-
bling the device the plastic, metal and elec-
tronic components must be disposed of
separately.
In every single case the national require-
ments and regulatio
ns for waste disposal
must be observed.
