Safety and Usage Guidelines
• Use your Cyclops HMD device as specified in the users
manual.
• Do not use Cyclops HMD while driving.
• When you are not using the Cyclops HMD, lift the
screen up and out of your sight.
• Maintain environmental awareness while using
Cyclops HMD.
• Cyclops HMD is designed for mobile phones with
5V DC voltage output. Do not connect to any adapter
or device other than cell phones.
• Do not use Cyclops HMD underwater. Do not immerse
it in any liquid.
• Do not attempt to disassemble Cyclops HMD and
device. Remove the hologram label on the mounting
screw.
• Before cleaning Cyclops HMD, disconnect it from the
mobile phone.
• Do not interfere with see-through AR screen and lens
with sharp-edged parts.
• Do not clean see-through AR screen and lens with t
issue other than lens cleaning tissue.
• Do not use Cyclops HMD if you experience any
dizziness, fainting or similar complications.
• Do not use Cyclops HMD in high temperature and
humid environments.
• The Cyclops HMD does not have any wireless
transmitter on it, so there is no measured SAR value.
It does not emit radiation to the user.

Warranty conditions
Cyclops HMD has a warranty period of 2 (two) years from
the invoice date.
Warranty conditions are specified separately in the
warranty document. Disassembling the device by people
other than the authorized service and removing the
hologram label on the back of the device exclude the
device from the scope of warranty.
Compatible Phones
Cyclops HMD is compatible with all phones with
Android 8.0 and above operating system, Micro Usb or
Type-C connector.
Wearing Cyclops HMD
Adjusting The Headband
Wear the headband and before you tighten the buckles on
the headband, Center the see-through AR screen by moving
the Headband left and right on your forehead.
Cyclops HMD should stay firm in on your front head during
utilization. By loosening and tightening the buckles, adjust
the headband so that the Cyclops HMD does not move on
your forehead.
Thanks to the Cyclops HMD's lightweight design, you don't
have to tighten the headband too tight.

Adjusting The See-Through AR Screen
To get a clear view with the Cyclops HMD, you can change the
angle of the see-through AR screen by pushing it up and down
with your finger tip. After wearing the Cyclops HMD, adjust the
angle of the see-through AR screen so that you can see the
entire screen.
Since the see-through AR screen is a moving part, there may be
loosening in its hinges after long use. In this case, the hinge
screws can be slightly tightened with a Phillips screwdriver
and continue to be used.
Mobile Device Connection
• While using Cyclops HMD, connected mobile device must be
placed inside a phone case which is attached to the arm or waist.
• Connect to a mobile device with Android operating system.
If the connection type of the mobile device is Micro USB, the
cable can be directly connected to the mobile device. If the
connection type is Type-C, it can be connected to the mobile
device with the Type-C converter that comes out of the box
Maintenance
Cleaning Optical Parts
Cyclops HMD has a see-through AR screen and lens on it. It is
important to keep see-through AR screen and lens clean for a
clear vision. Thus if there is any dust or dirt on optical parts,
wipe them with lens cleaning tissue and lens cleaning spray.

ARA Mobile APPLICATION
Initial Setup
You can download ARA Mobile application by reading the
QR code or by typing the below url into the browser
https://ara.augmency.com/static/ara.apk
Install the downloaded application, when
completed, open the application.
After the first installation, you need to give
"Change system settings" permission once.
When you open the application, you need to
give permisson to access the camera and
microphone for a one-time voice and video call,
and permission to access files for recording
the call. After giving the necessary permissions,
the application will start and you will see login screen.
You must enter the Company, User Name and Password
information given you by Augmency Technology.
Then you need to select and save the room you want to join.
Theise information are submitted only once in your first use
and are not asked again until you want to change them.
Starting a conversation
After starting the ARA mobile application, screen recording
permission is required to mirror the screen of the mobile device
to Cyclops HMD. After giving permisson you need to connect to
your mobile device to Cyclops HMD. If your mobile device has a
micro USB port, you can directly connect mobile phone with
Cyclops HMD.
If your mobile device has Type-C port, you can connect
Cyclops HMD to your mobile device with the type-C converter
included in the box..

When you plug the Cyclops HMD's cable into your mobile device,
it requires STM32 permisson to access the main functions and
USB 2.0 Camera permission to access camera. After giving the
necessary permissions, by clicking the "Start Meeting" button,
you send a meetingl request to the exper in the room where
you are registered in.
You remain in standby mode until the exper accepts the meeting
request. When the meeting request is accepted, the meeting
begins.
During the call, you can see the exper or the screen he shared
on the see-through AR screen
During the call, you can control the application menu with the
touch pad which is on the right side of the Cyclops HMD.
You can open the application menu by sliding your finger up on
the touchpad. After the menu opens, you can scroll through the
menu items by scrolling up and down and you can select with
one click.
ARA WEB APPLICATION
The web application is accessed from the link below.
https://ara.augmency.com
Enter the Company, User Name and Password provided by Augmency
Technology, select the room you want to connect from the dropdown
list and log in. If you are logged in with a user with Exper authority,
you can answer the meeting request appeared on the room.
Each meeting request received in the room is transmitted to all users
in the room with the authority of the exper. All accepted requests are
included in the current conversation in the room and are listed down
on the left side of the web application. By clicking on any image you
can view it in full screen. The shared screen is transmitted to all users.
By taking a screenshot, you can annotate the image by drawing or
placing icon.

The annotated image is shown to the user by being shared.
In addition, all kinds of documents and information such as
technical drawings, guides, 3D drawings can be shown to the
user by screen sharing.

WARRANTY CERTIFICATE
WARRANTY TERMS AND CONDITIONS
•AUGMENCY branded products are under AUGMENCY guarantee for 2 (two) years against
manufacturing defects when complied with the principles, warnings and standards specified
in the user manual.
•The Warranty Certificate must be filled and stamped by the AUGMENCY authorized dealer
from whom you purchased the device.
•The warranty is only valid for services to be carried out by AUGMENCY approved services.
Manufacturer and seller companies are not responsible for the intervention of non-expert
and unauthorized persons to the device.
•Maximum repair time is 20 working days. This period starts from the date the device is
delivered to our authorized service workshops, authorized dealers or our company in the
absence of authorized service workshops. If the device malfunction is not fixed within 15
working days, AUGMENCY will allocate another device with similar features to the use of
the customer until the repair of the device is completed.
•The determination of the technical methods to be applied for the elimination of the defect
and the determination of the parts to be replaced is entirely up to the manufacturer.
Correcting the fault can be done at the location of the device, in our authorized service
workshops or in our production facility.
•For the below situations within the warranty period from the date of delivery of the device,
device will be replaced in free of charge;
•Occuring the same failure more than two times or different failures occurring more
than four within 1 (one) year
•Exceeding the maximum time required for repair,
•If it is determined that the repair of the defect is not possible by authorized service
workshops, the replacement will be done free of charge.
•The time for repairs to be made during the repair period is added to the warranty period.
•The warranty period of the replaced device during the warranty application is limited to
the remaining warranty period of the purchased product.
•Warranty period; The warranty starts from the date of delivery to the consumer and the
warranty period is 2 (two) years from the delivery date.
•For problems that may arise with regard to the warranty certificate, the customer can apply
to the Ministry of Science, Industry and Technology to the General Directorate of Protection
of Consumers and Competition.
•The use of this Guarantee Certificate has been permitted by the Turkish Ministry of Science,
Industry and Technology, General Directorate of Protection of Consumer and Competition, in
accordance with the Law No. 4077 on Consumer Protection and the Communiqué on the
Principles of Implementation of the Guarantee Certificate that was put into effect on the
basis of this Law.
GENERAL ISSUES EXCLUDING THE SCOPE OF WARRANTY
The following issues and any malfunctions, problems and damages that occur and / or may
occur within the scope of these articles will not be covered by the warranty certificate.
•Falsification or loss of the Warranty Certificate
•Removing the holographic warranty label on the device, removing the mounting screws of
the device by persons other than the authorized service or disassembling the device
•Damages and failures arising from the misuse and out of purpose stated the User Manual,
•Failure to install the device in accordance with the assembly picture in the user manual,
•Damages and failures caused by maintenance and repairs other than the services
AUGMENCY authorized,
•Damages and failures caused by transportation, storage, external physical (crash, collapse,
breaking) and chemical factors after the delivery of the device,
•Damages and failures caused by environmental factors such as (earthquake, fire, flood,
strong wind, lightning strike,
humidity, exposure of the device to frost, etc.)
