As with any product that performs automatic functions, there are certain safety precautions that you must practice and be
a w a r e o f .

OPERATION:
A . R E G U L A R T R A N S M I T T E R O P E R A T I O N :
Transmitter Button System Function Remark
- Activate The Remote Start Press twice within 3 seconds.

B.TOREMOTESTARTTHEVEHICLE:
When you want to start your vehicle,
1 . P r e s s t h e t r a n s m i t t e r button twice to start the vehicle.
2 . T h e p a r k i n g l i g h t w i l l a c t i v a t e t o i n d i c a t e t h e r e m o t e s t a r t r e c e i v e d t h e s i g n a l .
3 . I t w i l l t a k e a p p r o x i m a t e l y 5 s e c o n d s f o r t h e e n g i n e t o s t a r t .
4 . O n c e t h e e n g i n e i s r u n n i n g , a f t e r c o u p l e s e c o n d s t h e p a r k i n g l i g h t w i l l t u r n o n a g a i n a n d c l i m a t e c o n t r o l s w i l l a c t i v a t e
and adjust the vehicles interior temperature to your preset setting.
5 . T h e v e h i c l e w i l l r u n f o r 5 t o 3 0 m i n u t e c y c l e a n d a u t o m a t i c a l l y s h u t d o w n .
NOTE: The following safety and security conditions exist with this unit.
The Remote Start Unit will not start the vehicle if any one of the following conditions exists:
1 . T h e h o o d i s o p e n e d .
2 . T h e b r a k e p e d a l i s p r e s s e d .
3 . M o v e t h e o p t i o n a l r e m o t e s t a r t e n a b l e t o g g l e s w i t c h t o O F F p o s i t i o n . ( I f i n s t a l l e d )
4 . T h e g e a r s e l e c t o r i s i n a n y g e a r o t h e r t h e n “ P A R K ” o r “ N E U T R A L ”
C. TO TURN OFF THE REMOTE START:
When the engine is running (by remote start), if you want to stop it, you can do one of three things:
1 . P r e s s a n d r e l e a s e t h e t r a n s m i t t e r button.
2 . M o v e t h e o p t i o n a l r e m o t e s t a r t e n a b l e t o g g l e s w i t c h t o O F F p o s i t i o n . ( I f i n s t a l l e d )
3 . P r e s s t h e b r a k e p e d a l
The vehicle will shut down and turn off the parking light to indicate engine stopped.
D.TOOPERATETHEVEHICLEWHILERUNNINGONTHEREMOTESTART:
To operate the vehicle after you have used the remote start function:
1 . I n s e r t t h e i g n i t i o n k e y a n d t u r n i t t o “ O N ” ( n o t t h e s t a r t ) p o s i t i o n .
2 . P r e s s t h e b r a k e p e d a l .
Note: If the brake pedal is pressed before the key is in the “ON” position, the engine will shut down.

E.TEMPORARYSTOPFEATURE:
This feature allows the vehicle to remain running after the key has been removed from the ignition. This feature is useful for
occasions when you wish to exit and lock the vehicle for short periods of time, but would like to leave the engine running
and the climate control on.
1.Before turning off the engine, Place the vehicle in “Park”; take your foot off the brake pedal; press the transmitter
button twice and the LED indicator will flash 3 times to confirm enter.
2.Turn the ignition key to the “OFF” position and remove the key. (The engine will stay running.)
3.The engine will run until the pre-programmed time has elapsed or one of the shutdown inputs is received.
F. TIMER START:
This unit can be programmed to start and run the engine every 3 hours. The engine will run for the programmed run time
and then shut down.
IMPORTANT : Timer Start should be used only in open areas. You should never start and run the vehicle in on enclosed
space as a garage or carport.
3 hours timer start: This feature is design for an extreme cold climate usage. The system will auto start the vehicle every
3 hours, to prevent extremely difficult cold start problems. A MAXIMUM OF SIX CYCLES CAN OCCUR.
E N T E R :
1 . P r e s s t h e t r a n s m i t t e r button twice to remote start the vehicle. As soon as the vehicle is running and the parking
lights have turned on or flashing.
2 . I m m e d i a t e l y d e p r e s s t h e and button together at the same time, within 2 seconds
3 . Q u i c k l y p r e s s t h e button. The parking light will flash (3) times. The horn (if installed) chirps (3) times. The vehicle
is now programmed to start every (3) hours.
4 . P r e s s t h e b r a k e p e d a l t o s t o p t h e v e h i c l e r u n n i n g .
Exit the timer start:
Timer start can be exited manually as follows:
1 . M a k e s u r e t h e r e m o t e s t a r t s y s t e m i s n o t o p e r a t i n g t h e e n g i n e .
2. Turn the ignition “ON”. The LED and parking light will flash (4) times. The horn (if installed) chirps (4) times.
Or
1. Press the transmitter button twice to remote start the vehicle. As soon as the vehicle is running and the
parking lights have turned on or flashing.
2. Immediately depress the a n d button together at the same time; then press and hold button for 2
seconds.
The parking lights will flash (4) times. The horn (if installed) will chirp (4) times. The vehicle is no longer programmed to
startautomatically.
G.SHUT-DOWNINPUTFORREMOTESTARTER:
If any of the following conditions exist while the system is operating, the engine will not start or will shut down immediately:
1 . T h e h o o d i s o p e n e d .
2 . T h e b r a k e p e d a l i s p r e s s e d .
3 . M o v e t h e o p t i o n a l r e m o t e s t a r t e n a b l e t o g g l e s w i t c h t o O F F p o s i t i o n . ( I f i n s t a l l e d )
4 . E n g i n e i s o v e r - r e v v e d . { “ T a c h o m e t e r c h e c k i n g t y p e ” o n l y }
5 . T h e p r e - p r o g r a m m e d r u n t i m e ( 5 / 1 0 / 2 0 / 3 0 m i n u t e s ) h a s e l a p s e d .
6 . P r e s s t h e t r a n s m i t t e r button.
7 . T h e v e h i c l e r e f u s e d t o s t a r t r u n n i n g a f t e r { 3 } u n s u c c e s s f u l a t t e m p t s .

H.DISABLINGTHEREMOTESTARTSYSTEM:(If installed)
This feature allows your system’s remote start unit to be temporarily disabled to prevent the vehicle from being remote
started accidentally. This feature is useful if the vehicle is being serviced or stored in an enclosed area. To disable the
remote start, move the (optional) remote start enable toggle switch to the OFF position.
