Introduction
Overview
4KSW41-KVM-Pro is a 4x1 HDMI KVM Switcher with Hotkey Switch. It supports
HDMI 2.0 and HDCP 2.2 compatibility, and supports resolutions up to 4K@60Hz
4:4:4 8bit. The four USB port KVM switcher allows users controls four source
devices/computers with only one set of USB devices (e.g. USB mouse, USB
keyboard, USB flash and other USB2.0 compliant devices).
The switcher features virtual interaction function, which can reduce the switching
time and does not need to frequently pull the HPD signal of the source device
each time. It also supports direct switching through buttons on front panel, IR
Remote switching, and hotkey switching through keyboard connected to the
special USB port. It provides a wide compatibility choice for different operating
systems, such as Windows, Mac OS and Linux, no driver required and simple plug
and play.

Full 18Gbps bandwidth supports 4K@60Hz 4:4:4 chroma sampling with
HDR.
Supports refreshing rate up to 1080P@120Hz.
One USB 1.1 port for keyboard and two USB 2.0 ports for USB devices.
Supports button switch, IR remote switch, and hotkey switch (Keyboard
must be connected to USB1.1 port).
Supports microphone input and headphone output for audio application.
Compatible with Windows 10/8/7 XP, Mac OS and Linux.

(1~4) and LED (1~4)
HDMI Input Selection Button 1~4: Press the
button to select HDMI In 1~4 as input.
LED: LED is located on the right of the button.
On: The corresponding HDMI In is selected.
Off: The corresponding HDMI In is not selected.
3 IR Receive Window Receive IR signal.
4 USB
: USB 1.1 type-A port, can be used to connect
to a USB slave device (such as keypad) for KVM
function. When connect a keypad to it
, the
keypad can be used for Hotkey function.
: USB 2.0 type-A port, can be used to connect
to USB 2.0 high-speed device for KVM function.
5 MIC In
Connect to a Microphone. The Microphone
follows the HDMI Input source selected.
6 Line Out Connect to an earphone. The earphone follows
the HDMI Input source selected.

The USB Host 1~4 is bound with HDMI In 1~4
respectively.
When an HDMI input is selected, the
corresponding host PC will be connected to the USB
devices connected to the switcher.

Brackets Installation
Note: Before installation, please ensure the switcher is disconnected from the
power source.
Steps to install the device in a suitable location
1. Attach the installation bracket to the enclosure using the screws that were
provided in the package separately. The bracket height can be adjusted
up/down or bracket face up or down.
2. The bracket is attached to the enclosure as shown.
3. Repeat steps from 1 to 2 for the other side of the unit.
4. Attach the brackets to the surface you want to hold the unit against using
the screws (provided by others).

Before wiring, disconnect the power from all devices.
During wiring, connect and disconnect the cables gently.

Control of the Switcher
You can choose to switch input sources at your convenience through front panel
buttons, IR remote or Hotkey function.
Front Panel Control
Users can choose to use front panel buttons to do basic switching operations.
Connect the switcher as required and power on all the attached devices.
Press the corresponding button (INPUT1/2/3/4)
to select HDMI IN (1/2/3/4) as input source
IR Remote Control
The included remote handset can be used to turn on and off a CEC-enabled
display device and to switch four HDMI sources to one display device.
Point the remote directly at the IR windows on front panel or at the IR extension
cable connected to the "IR Ext." on rear panel.

Hotkey Function
One USB 1.1 port on front panel of the switcher supports keypad Hotkey function.
Connect a keypad to USB 1.1 port, and users can use the following hotkey key
combinations on the connected keypad to switch input sources for output.
Key Combination Function
“Tab” + “1” Switch to source input 1.
“Tab” + “2” Switch to source input 2.
“Tab” + “3” Switch to source input 3.
“Tab” + “4” Switch to source input 4.
“Tab” + “LEFT” Switch to the previous source input (Cycle 4->1).
“Tab” + “RIGHT” Switch to the next source input (Cycle 1->4).

Steps of Regular Troubleshooting Routine
1Power: Please make sure all devices are powered on. (source, switcher,
display devices)
2Indicator: Please make sure LED indicators are normal according to user
manual.
3Devices: Please make sure picture can be shown normally when connecting
source to display devices directly.
4Cable: Plug in and out HDMI/USB cable or try another HDMI/USB cable.
5Compatibility: Please test other source and display devices to determine
whether it is a compatibility issue.

Warranty
Products are backed by a limited 1-year parts and labor warranty. For the
following cases AV Access Technology Limited shall charge for the service(s)
claimed for the product if the product is still remediable and the warranty card
becomes unenforceable or inapplicable.
1. The original serial number (specified by AV Access Technology Limited)
labeled on the product has been removed, erased, replaced, defaced or is
illegible.
2. The warranty has expired.
3. The defects are caused by the fact that the product is repaired, dismantled
or altered by anyone that is not from an AV Access Technology Limited
authorized service partner. The defects are caused by the fact that the
product is used or handled improperly, roughly or not as instructed in the
applicable User Guide.
4. The defects are caused by any force majeure including but not limited to
accidents, fire, earthquake, lightning, tsunami and war.
5. The service, configuration and gifts promised by salesman only but not
covered by normal contract.
6. AV Access Technology Limited preserves the right for interpretation of these
cases above and to make changes to them at any time without notice.
