IMPORTANT SAFEGUIDES
Before the refrigerator is used, it must be properly positioned and installed as
described in this manual, so read the manual carefully. To reduce the risk of fire,
electrical shock or injury when using the refrigerator, follow basic precaution,
including the following:
•
Plug into a grounded 3-prong outlet, do not remove grounding prong, do not use an adapter, and
do not use an extension cord.
•
It is recommended that a separate circuit, serving only your refrigerator be provided. Use
receptacles that cannot be turned off by a switch or pull chain.
•
Never clean refrigerator parts with flammable fluids. These fumes can create a fire hazard or
explosion. And do not store or use gasoline or other flammable vapors and liquids in the vicinity of
this or any other appliance. The fumes can create a fire hazard or explosion.
•
Before proceeding with cleaning and maintenance operations, make sure the power line of the
unit is disconnected.
•
Do not connect or disconnect the electric plug when your hands are wet.
•
Unplug the refrigerator or disconnect power before cleaning or servicing. Failure to do so can
result in electrical shock or death.
•
Do not attempt to repair or replace any part of your refrigerator unless it is specifically
recommended in this manual. All other servicing should be referred to a qualified technician.

Use two or more people to move and install refrigerator. Failure to do so can result in back or
other injury.
•
To ensure proper ventilation for your refrigerator, the front of the unit must be completely
unobstructed. Choose a well-ventilated area with temperatures above 60°F (16°C) and below
90°F (32°C). This unit must be installed in an area protected from the element, such as wind, rain,
water spray or drips.
•
The refrigerator should not be located next to ovens, grills or other sources of high heat.
•
The refrigerator must be installed with all electrical connections in accordance with state and local
codes. A standard electrical supply (120 V AC only, 60 Hz), properly grounded in accordance with
the National Electrical Code and local codes and ordinances is required.
•
Do not kink or pinch the power supply cord of refrigerator.
•
The fuse (or circuit breaker) size should be 3.15 amperes.
•
It is important for the refrigerator to be leveled in order to work properly. You may need to make
several adjustments to level it.
•
Never allow children to operate, play with or crawl inside the refrigerator.
•
Although the unit has been tested at the factory, due to long-term transit and storage, the first
batch of cubes must be discarded.
•
Do not use solvent-based cleaning agents of abrasives on the interior. These cleaners may
damage or discolor the interior.
•
Do not use this apparatus for other than its intended purpose.

SAFETY WARNINGS
For your personal safety, please follow the instructions below:
The circuitry for refrigerator must be isolated. The area of cross section of wire must

be larger than 0.75mm . The power plug should have its own socket, the socket must
be grounded as adapter may cause the socket to overheat.

The voltage and frequency of this product should be 120V;60Hz. Contact with the
local maintenance station or retailer if the wire is damaged.

Disconnect power only by pulling the power plug out of the socket directly but not by
the wire.

Do not damage the refrigerant circuit.4.
This appliance is not intended for use by persons(including children) with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge,unless
they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a
person responsible for their safety.

Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

Keep ventilation opening, in the appliance enclosure or in the built in structure,clear
of obstruction.

Do not use electrical appliance inside the food storage compartments of the appliance,
unless they are of the type recommended by the manufacture.

This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge
if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a
safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance.
Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.

PRODUCT OVERVIEW
Due to ongoing improvements to our product your freezer may look slightly different.
Prior to using the freezer for the first time please remove all adhesive tape
and packing material from the interior.
Do not apply too much force pulling or pushing the drawer or door bins as it could
cause damages.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
5. This model comes with an electronic control board and thermostat mounted at the top
of the unit. Refrain from storing liquids or magnets on the top of the freezer as either
could damage the control board.
The refrigerant of this product is R600a,which is inflammable. So, be cautious not
to damage the cooling system during the transportation and installation.
7. DISPOSAL: Dispose according to local state and municipal laws.

NOTICE:
1. This model uses R600a refrigerant which is flammable. In the event of a refrigerant leak
do not un-plug the unit as it may cause a spark which could ignite the gas.
4. Refrain from placing bottled liquids in the freezer, doing so could result in
the bottle leaking or breaking.
Pull out the bottom panel before installation.

2. Do not splash water on the rear of the appliance as it may cause malfunction
or electric shock.
3. Do not store flammable materials such as ether, benzene, LP gas and glue,
etc in the refrigerator.
1. The refrigerator should be installed on a flat and level surface. Leave 2"-4" (5-10cm)
between each side of the appliance and the wall. Leave 12" (30cm) between the top
of the appliance and the ceiling.
2. Do not place the appliance in the path of direct sunlight, areas
with high ambient temperature or excessive humidity.
4. In order to level the appliance use the front mounted leveling legs.
Clockwise rotation will raise the unit, counter-clockwise will lower
the unit.
5. Install the appliance on a firm structurally sound floor.
If the floor is not stable or the appliance is not level this
could result in excessive noise and vibration. We do not
recommend installing this model over carpet.
6. Use the front two leveling lets tocreate a slight backward
incline to help ensure the door closes tightly.

5. Pry off and remove the cover over the screw holes on the left side of
regrigerator housing. Attach cover on the right side. Cover is force-fitted.
REVERSING THE DOOR
Important safety warning: before doing so please unplug and
disconnect the appliance
In addition to the accessories packed, you will need:
1. First, check to make sure the power is disconnected.
2. Remove the protective covers with a Flat-head screwdriver through the back side,
and save the protective covers.
3. Remove the 4 shelf-tapping screws, and save them.
4. Push the top hinge forward, remove the door and save it aside.

The door is field reversible mean the door swing can be on the left side or right side. In order
to reverse the door swing follow the instructions below. We recommend you unplug and
empty the unit prior to reversal.

6. Push the machine slightly backward against the wall.
7. Disassemble the 2 fixed stands.
8. Disassemble the bottom hinge.
9. Assemble the bottom hinge on the other side of the machine.
10. Assemble the stands.
11. Exchange the 2 bolts and fix them on the other side.

3. Allow hot food to cool prior to placing in the appliance. Otherwise,
the interior temperature will increase along with electricity consumption.
4. Reducing the frequency of door opening can lower the
electricity consumption.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

3. After the child lock is unlock, temperature can be adjusted by pressing “ ”
In the freezer mode, temperature adjusted ranges are from -22°C to -15°C
(-8°F to 5°F);
In the fridge mode, temperature adjusted ranges are from 1°C to 7°C
(33°F to 45°F).
1. When the door is opened, LED display will be lit. Press“ ” for 3 seconds,
the light of“ ” will be out, child lock unlocks. After the child lock is unlock,
temperature can be adjusted and the mode can be switched; Stay still for 10S,
“ ” light will be turned on, the child lock will be activated again;
2. After the child lock is unlock, Press“ ”for 3 seconds, temperature display unit
can be switched to Celsius or Fahrenheit, light of“ ”will be turned on according
to the operation done mentioned earlier.
Unpacking it, repack and carry
Please memorize the position of each accessory of the appliance
when unpack it, repack the product and check carefully before
transportation.
Do not lift or pull the door and the door handle during transportation.
When moving, the appliance can not be titled over 45 degrees
(the angle to the vertical direction). Please avoid strong vibration
and collision.

when FREEZER, the indicator light is on, freezer mode is selected.

pressed, Fast Freezing function indicator light will be on; Press again,“ ” “ ”
fast freezing mode can be exited manually.
INSTRUCTION FOR USAGE
1. The Fast Freezing Function can only be selected while in Freezer mode.
2. Inthe Fast Freezing mode the inner temperature can reach as low as -30C (-22F);
Fast freezing mode will remain on for up to 24 hours unless it is manually cancelled
per bullet 5.

Lighting and its replacement
4.
When the refrigerating chamber door opens, the LED light turns on.
When the light is damaged, please remove the lampshade first and then
replace the LED light.
The specific operations are shown in the following diagram:
1. Please move the lampshade and the thermostat out 3-5mm in the direction of
the arrow.
2. Take out the lampshade and thermostat downwards.
3. Pull the connection terminal, use the screwdriver to remove the LED light
board and replace it.
The appliance should be maintained and cleaned frequently. For your safety,
please pull the plug out of the socket before the cleaning.

Do not use mechanical devices or other means to accelerate the
defrosting process, other than those recommended by the manufacturer

Note: If the LED lamp is abnormal, it should be replaced by professionals.
Do not dismantle and replace it privately in order to avoid damage.
Clean the interior of the appliance with a cup of warm water and a table spoon of baking soda.
Wet a cloth with the solution and wipe down the interior. Once complete wipe the interior with
a dry cloth.
Maintenance of door gasket2.
Door gaskets can be damaged by different foods. Please wipe up spills immediately.
Wipe the dust away with a clean cloth.
Defrosting of refrigerator will be executed automatically while the product is operating,
so it is not required for manual defrost. The defrost water flows into the evaporator
plate and the water will be evaporated by the heat of the compressor.

DISCONNECTING THE APPLIANCE
In a general condition, do not stop the appliance in case of affecting
its life. After unplugging the power, please leave at least 5 minutes
before resumption.

USER NOTIFICATIONS
Do not splash water on the refrigerator, as it will cause oxidation and malfunction.
Electronic component such as on/off button should be wiped dryly.
Cleansers such as soap powder, abrasive cleaning powder, alkali cleansers, chemical
cloth, thinner, alcohol, acid petroleum productand hot water should not be used to
clean the refrigerator as they may damage the painted cover and plastics.
Smear can damage the interior plastic component, so wipe it as soon as possible.

(1) Is there any damage or loss of the electronic wire ?
(2) Can the plug be put in the socket reliably and smoothly?
(3) Is the plug heating unconventionally?

Please get rid of the gasket of the door before the disposal.
The disposed apparatus should be handled by professional
staff, as it may be harmful to the environment.
Warning
During a power failure, do not put additional food in the appliance and reduce frequency
of door opening.
During a short vacation we recommend reducing the number of perishable food in the
refrigerator and make sure door is closed firmly. For longer vacations, remove all of the
food and cut off the power. After defrosting, clean up the liner of the appliance, wipe
it dry and leave the door open.
If you will be absent for a long period of time we recommend you unplug the appliance,
empty the appliance, defrost it, wipe the interior and leave the door slightly.

The following cases are normal operation
Moisture may form dew on the outside of the product during the
humid season, just
get it wiped.
The frame of the appliance will be warm during working by the defrost pipeline inside
it.
Please check the points above first.
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer,
its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
The flow of refrigerant through the pipeline coil can cause a bicker.
It is normal that the sides of product get warm as a result of the cooling pipeline
working.

Unpleasant odour happens
Food with strong odour should be packed tightly before being put inside the appliance.
Please check whether there is any deteriorated item or whether the liners are left dirty
for a long time.

Water leaks from the bottom of the refrigerator
The drain tube is jammed. Please use a proper tool to solve it.

Heavy frost occurs on the rear of the appliance
Putting humid or hot food into the appliance may cause this problem. Or it may be
caused by the heavy environment moisture.

The compressor keeps working for a long period
The environment temperature may be too high. The doors may be opened frequently
or even they are left open. The compressor running time may be extended if the
temperature is set too low.

desired setting. If user wants to increase the temperature in a short time, it is advised
to open the door.
9. In the freezer mode, low air pressure may occur in the cabinet for a short time when
the door is opened frequently, which makes the door more difficult to be opened in a
second try. Do not worry, since this is a normal phenomenon. Please wait from 20 to
30 seconds, then the door can be opened easily again!

purchase date is needed to obtain service under
warranty.
LIMITED SECOND THROUGH FIFTH YEAR WARRANTY
For the second through the fifth year from the date of original purchase, Avanti Products will provide a
replacement compressor free of charge due to a failure. You are responsible for the service labor and freight
charges. In rental or commercial use, the limited compressor warranty is one year and nine months. Costs
involved to move the product to the service center and back to the user’s home, as maybe required, are the
user’s responsibility.
WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS / WHAT IS NOT COVERED:
The warranty coverage described herein excludes all defects or damage that are not the direct fault of Avanti
Products, including without limitation, one or more of the following:
A failure to comply with any applicable state, local, city, or county electrical, plumbing and/or building codes,
regulations, or laws, including failure to install the product in strict conformity with local fire and building
codes and regulations.
Any external, elemental and/or environmental forces and factors, including without limitation, rain, wind,
sand, floods, fires, mud slides, freezing temperatures, excessive moisture or extended exposure to humidity,
lightning, power surges, structural failures surrounding the appliance, and acts of God.
Content losses of food or other content due to
spoilage.
Incidental or consequential damages
Parts and labor costs for the following will not be
considered as warranty:
Evaporator doors, door springs, and/or frames.
Inner door panels, door shelves, door rails,
and/or door supports.
Chest freezer lid liners.
Light bulbs and/or plastic housing.
Plastic cabinet liners.
Punctured evaporator that voids the warranty on
the complete sealed system.
Shipping and handling costs associated with the
replacement of the unit.
Repairs performed by unauthorized servicers.
Service calls that are related to external problems,
such as abuse, misuse, inadequate electrical
power, accidents, fire, floods, or any other acts of
God.
Failure of the product if it is used for other than it
intended purpose.
The warranty does not apply outside the
Continental USA.
Surcharges including but not limited to, any after
hour, weekend, or holiday service calls, tolls, ferry
trip charges, or mileage expense for service calls
to remote areas.
In no event shall Avanti Products have any liability or responsibility whatsoever for damage to surrounding
property, including cabinetry, floors, ceilings, and other structures and/or objects around the product. Also
excluded from this warranty are scratches, nicks, minor dents, and other cosmetic damages on external
surfaces and exposed parts; Products on which the serial numbers have been altered, defaced or removed;
service visits for customer education, or visits where there is nothing wrong with the product; correction of
installation problems (you are solely responsible for any structure and setting for the product, including all
electrical, plumbing and/or other connecting facilities, for proper foundation/flooring, and for any alterations
including without limitation cabinetry, walls, floors, shelving etc., as well as the resetting of breakers or fuses.
OUT OF WARRANTY PRODUCT
Avanti Products is under no obligation, at law or otherwise, to provide you with any concessions, including
repairs, pro-rates, or product replacement, once this warranty has expired.
WARRANTY – REFRIGERATION - COMPRESSOR
WHAT IS COVERED – LIMITED TWO-YEAR WARRANTY
Avanti Products warrants that the product is free from defects in materials and/or workmanship for a period of
twenty-four (24) months from the date of purchase by the original owner. The foregoing timeline begins to
run upon the date of purchase, and shall not be stalled, tolled, extended, or suspended for any reason
whatsoever unless described in detail in the warranty document. For one year from the date of purchase by
the original owner, Avanti products will, at its option, repair or replace any part of the product which proves to
be defective in material or workmanship under normal use. Avanti Products will provide you with a
reasonably similar product that is either new or factory refurbished. During this period Avanti Products will
provide all parts and labor necessary to correct such defects free of charge, so long as the product has been
installed and operated in accordance with the written instructions in this manual. In rental or commercial use,
the warranty period is 90 days. All Avanti appliances of 4.2 cubic feet capacity or less must be brought/sent
to the appliance service center for repair.
