SAFETY OPERATION GUIDE
In order to guarantee the reliable operation of the equipment and safety of the user,
please abide by the following procedures during installation, use and maintenance:
1. The system must be earthed properly. Please do not use two blade plugs and
ensure the AC power supply ranges from 100v to 240v and from 50Hz to 60Hz.
2. Do not install the units in an environment where they will be exposed to extreme hot
or cold temperatures.
3. These units will generate heat during operation, please ensure that you allow
adequate ventilation to ensure reliable operation.
4. Please disconnect the units from mains power if they will be left unused for a long
time.
5. Please DO NOT try to open the casing of the equipment, DO NOT attempt to repair
the unit. Opening the unit will void the warranty. There are high voltage components
in the unit and attempting to repair the unit could result in serious injury.
6. Do not allow the unit to come into contact with any liquid as that could result in
personal injury and product failure.

1. Introduction
1.1 Introduction to AVG-SB01
Thank you for purchasing the AVG-SB01, a 2.1 Deep Bass (soundbar and in-built woofer)
which is designed to bring an extraordinary sound experience to your home entertainment
system.
We encourage you to take a few minutes to read through this manual, which describes the
product and includes step-by-step instructions for setting up and getting started.

Installation of batteries
⚫Open the backshell of the Remote Control
⚫Install 2 AAA batterries in the battery compartment
(Make sure the polarity of the batteries is correct )
NOTE:
Remove the batteries if you do not plan to use the Remote Control for an extended period of
time or for long term storage.

3. Connecting the soundbar
Connecting to a TV via HDMI ARC
An HDMI connection supports digital audio and video with a single connection.
HDMI connectivity is the recommended option for your soundbar.
1) Press the power button to switch on. Press the source button on the right side of the
Soundbar or the (Source) button on the remote control to select the “ARC” mode.
2) Connect the soundbar to your TV with an good quality HDMI cable.
3) On your TV menu, check that HDMI ARC has been enabled. Refer to the owner’s manual
of your TV for more information.
4) If there is no sound, check the HDMI cable connection. Use the volume buttons on the
TV’s remote control to change the volume on the Soundbar.
NOTES:
−This function is not available if your TV does not support ARC.
−Contact your TV manufacturer if you have problems with the HDMI ARCcompatibility.
Connecting via Bluetooth
Through Bluetooth, connect the soundbar with your Bluetooth device, such as a smartphone,
tablet and laptop
1) Press the power button to switch on. Press the source button on the right of the Soundbar
or the (Source) button on the remote control to select the “Bluetooth” mode.
2) On your Bluetooth device, enable Bluetooth and search for “AVG-SB01” within three
minutes. An audible tone is heard(Bluetooth connected).
3) Your Bluetooth device is retained as a paired device when the soundbar goes to standby
mode. Next time you switch to the Bluetooth source, the soundbar reconnects the last paired
device automatically.
NOTES:
−The Bluetooth connection will be lost if the distance between the soundbar and the
Bluetooth device exceeds 33 ft (10 m).
−Electronic devices may cause radio interference. Devices that generate electromagnetic
waves must be kept away from the Soundbar, such as microwaves and wireless LAN
devices.

Connecting to other devices(Set-top box,Blu-ray player,Blu-ray DVD, PC)
Connecting via Optical
Connect the soundbar with your device (Set-top box, Blu-ray player,Blu-ray DVD,PC) by
using an optical cable (included).
Connecting via Auxiliary Input
Through the AUX input, connect the soundbar with your device (Set-top box,Blu-ray player
,Blu-ray DVD,PC).
1) Press to power button to switch on. Press the source button on the right of the Soundbar
or the (Source) button on the remote control to select the “AUX” mode.
2) Connect the soundbar with your device by using a 3.5mm cable (included).
PLACEMENT
Desktop placement
Place the soundbar on a flat and stable surface.
NOTE:
−Do not place any objects on the top of the soundbar.

4. Wall mounting
Installation Precautions
•Install on a vertical wall only.
•Do not install in a place with high temperature or humidity.
•Verify whether the wall is strong enough to support the product’s weight. If not,
reinforce the wall or choose another installation fixing point.
•Connect cables from the unit to external devices before you install the Soundbar
•Unit can be mounted via the keyhole mounting brackets on the rear of the soundbar
•To space the soundbar off the wall, please use the supplied mounting brackets

6. Trouble shooting
•Never try to repair the product yourself. If you have problems using this product, check
the following points before you request service.
System, the unit is not turn on
•Check if the power cord is plugged into power and the soundbar.
No sound from the soundbar
•Make sure that the soundbar is not muted.
•Select the correct audio input source on the remote control.
•Connect the soundbar to your TV or other devices properly
Distorted sound or echo
•If you play audio from your TV through the soundbar, make sure that your TV is muted or
the built-in TV speaker is disabled.
Remote control
The remote control does not work.
•Check if the batteries are drained. If so, replace them with new ones.
•Reduce the distance and angle between the remote control and the main unit
Bluetooth
A device cannot be connected with the soundbar.
•Check if you have enabled Bluetooth on the device.
•If the soundbar has been paired with another Bluetooth device, reset Bluetooth
•If your Bluetooth device has ever been paired with the soundbar, reset Bluetooth on the
soundbar, unpair the soundbar on the Bluetooth device, and then, pair the Bluetooth
device with the soundbar again
Poor audio quality from a connected Bluetooth device
•The Bluetooth reception is poor. Move the source device closer to the soundbar, or
remove any obstacle between the source device and the soundbar.
The connected Bluetooth device connects and disconnects constantly.
•The Bluetooth reception is poor. Move the source device closer to the soundbar, or
remove any obstacle between the source device and the soundbar.
