MountingtheCamera
Cameramountingpointsareprovidedonboththetopandbottomofthecamerabody.Usethesemountingpointsto
mountthecameraonabracket,inanenclosure,oronatripod.Themountingpointshave¼”-20UNCthreaded
holeswhichallowthemtoacceptstandardphotographicmountingbolts.
Consulttheinstallationinstructionsprovidedwiththebracket,enclosureortripodfordetailedmountinginstructions.

4. TightenthescrewsontheCSlens.Ensurethatyoudonotmovethecamerainanywaythatcouldinterfere
withthemanualfocus.
5. NavigatetotheSystempageandclickReinitializeLens.Ensurethatthelensisnotcoveredandthescene
isnotpitchblack.
6. Wait20secondsforinitializationtocomplete.
7. NavigatetotheImageandDisplaysettings.
8. ClickAutoFocustofinishfocusingthelens.Ifthepreferredfocuswasnotachieved,usethefocusnearand
farbuttonstoadjustthefocus.

ConnectingExternalPower
IfPoEisnotavailable,thecameraneedstobepoweredthroughtheremovablepowerconnectorblock.Refertothe
diagramsinthisguideforthelocationofthepowerconnectorblock.
Thepowerconsumptioninformationislistedintheproductspecifications.
Toconnectpowertothepowerconnectorblock,completethefollowingsteps:
1. Removethepowerconnectorblockfromthecamera.
2. Removetheinsulationfrom¼”(6mm)ofthepowerwires.Donotnickordamagethewires.
3. Insertthetwopowerwiresintothetwoterminalsonthepowerconnectorblock.Theconnectioncanbemade
witheitherpolarity.
Useasmallslotted(5/64”or2mmbladewidth)screwdrivertoloosenandtightentheterminals.
4. Attachthepowerconnectorblockbackintothecamera.
SeamlessFailover
IfthecamerahaspoweravailablefrombothanexternalAuxpowersupplyandaPoEPSE(PowerSourcing
Equipment)device,thecamerawilldrawpowerfromAux.Intheeventthatthecameralosespowerfromthe
preferredAuxpowersupplyitcantransitiontodrawingpowerfromthePoEPSEdevice.
ThiscameraiscapableofSeamlessFailover,allowingthecameratotransitionbetweenPoEandauxiliarypower
sourceswithoutanyinterruptionofcameraoperationorvideorecording.Thisismainlyusefulifyouwantredundant
powersourcessothatbackuppowerwillbeavailableifonepowersourcegoesdown.
