DEAR CUSTOMER:
Congratulations on your purchase of the LCD color television! This manual will help you use the many
exciting and useful features to make your LCD TV viewing more enjoyable than ever before. Before
operating, please read all these safety and operating instructions completely and then retain this manual
for future reference.

Electrical energy can perform many useful functions, but it can also cause personal injuries and property
damage if improperly handled. This product has been engineered and manufactured with the highest
priority on safety. But IMPROPER USE CAN RESULT IN POTENTIAL ELECTRICAL SHOCK OR FIRE
HAZARD. In order to prevent potential danger, please observe the following instructions when installing,
operating and cleaning the product. To ensure your safety and prolong the service life of your LCD TV
product, please read the following precautions carefully before using the product.
1. Read these instructions---All operating instructions must be read and understood before the
product is operated.
2. Keep these instructions --- These safety and operating instructions must be kept in a safe place for
future reference.
3. Heed all warnings --- All warnings on the product and in the instructions must be observed closely.
4. Follow all instructions --- All operating instructions must be followed.
5. Attachments --- Only use attachments/accessories specified by the manufacturer. Do not use
attachments not recommended by the manufacturer. Use of improper attachments can result in
accidents.
6. Power source --- This product is intended to be supplied by a listed power supply indicated on the
marking label. If you are not sure of the type of power supply to your home, consult with your product
dealer or local power company. For added protection for this product during a lightning storm, or
when it is left unattended and unused for long periods of time, unplug it from the wall outlet and
disconnect the cable system.
7. Power cable protection --- Protect the power cable from being walked on or pinched particularly at
plugs, convenience receptacles, and the point where they exit from the apparatus.
8. Power plug --- Do not defeat the safety purpose of the polarized or grounding-type plug. A polarized
plug has two blades with one wider than the other. A grounding type plug has two blades and a third
grounding prong. The wide blade or third prong is provided for your safety. If the provided plug does
not fit into your outlet, consult an electrician for replacement of the obsolete outlet. Refer to the
identification/rating label located on the back panel of your product for its proper operating voltage.
To prevent electric shock, match wide blade of plug to wide slot, fully insert.
9. The MAINS plug is used as the disconnect device, and the disconnect device shall remain readily
operable.
10. Overloading --- Do not overload wall outlets, extension cables, or convenience receptacles on other
equipment as this can result in a risk of fire or electric shock.

11. Entering of objects and liquids --- Never insert an object into the product through vents or
openings. High voltage flows in the product, and inserting an object can cause electric shock and/or
short internal parts. For the same reason, do not spill water or liquid on the product.
12. Damage requiring service --- Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel. Servicing is
required when the apparatus has been damaged in any way, such as power-supply cord or plug is
damaged, liquid has been spilled or objects have fallen into the apparatus, the apparatus has been
exposed to rain or moisture, does not operate normally, or has been dropped.
a. When the power cable or plug is damaged.
b. When a liquid is spilled on the product or when objects have fallen into the
product.
c. When the product has been exposed to rain or water.
d. When the product does not operate properly as described in the operating
instructions.
Do not touch the controls other than those described in the operating
instructions. Improper adjustment of controls not described in the
instructions can cause damage, which often requires extensive
adjustment work by a qualified technician.
e. If the product has been dropped or the cabinet has been damaged in any way.
f. When the product displays an abnormal condition or exhibits a distinct change in performance. Any
noticeable abnormality in the product indicates that the product needs servicing.
This unit should only be serviced by an authorized and properly trained
technician.Opening the cover or other attempts by the user to service this unit
may result in serious injury or death from electrical shock, and may increase the
risk of fire.
13. Replacement parts --- In case the product needs replacement parts, make sure that the service
person uses replacement parts specified by the manufacturer, or those with the same characteristics
and performance as the original parts. Use of unauthorized parts can result in fire, electric shock
and/or other danger.
14. Safety checks --- Upon completion of service or repair work, request the service technician to
perform safety checks to ensure that the product is in proper operating condition.
15. Wall mounting --- When mounting the product on a wall, be sure to install the product according to
the method recommended by the manufacturer. This is a safety
feature.
ipod16. Stand --- Do not place the product on an unstable trolley, stand, tr
or table. Placing the product on an unstable base can cause the
product to fall, resulting in serious personal injuries as well as damage
to the product. When mounting the product on a wall, be sure to follow
the manufacturer’s instructions. Use only the mounting hardware
recommended by the manufacturer.
17. Careful move --- Use only the cart, stand, tripod, bracket, or table
specified by the manufacturer, or sold with the apparatus. When a cart
is used, use caution when moving the cart/apparatus combination to avoid
injury from tip-over. Sudden stops, excessive force and uneven floor
surfaces can cause the product to fall from the trolley.
18. Lightning --- Unplug this apparatus during lightning storms or when unused
for long periods of time.
For added protection for this television equipment during a lightning storm, or
when it is left unattended and unused for long periods of time, unplug it
from the wall outlet and disconnect the antenna. This will prevent damage
to the equipment due to lightning and power-line surges.
19. Do not use this apparatus near water --- for example, near a bathtub,
washbowl, kitchen sink, or laundry tub, in a wet basement, or near a swimming
pool, and the like.
Do not use immediately after moving from a low temperature to high
temperature environment, as this causes condensation, which may result in fire,
electric shock, or other hazards.

20. Do not place heavy foreign objects, liquid container on the product. Do not place naked flame
sources, such as lighted candles, should be placed on the apparatus, or else it may cause fire hazard
or electric shock.
21. Clean only with dry cloth --- Unplug this product from the wall outlet
before cleaning. Do not use liquid cleaners or aerosol cleaners. Use a
damp cloth for cleaning.
22. Ventilation --- Do not block any ventilation openings. Install in
accordance with the manufacturer instructions. The vents and other
openings in the cabinet are designed for ventilation. Do not cover or block
these vents and openings since insufficient ventilation can cause
overheating and/or shorten the life of the product. Do not place the product
on a bed, sofa, rug or other similar surface, since they can block ventilation
openings. This product is not designed for built-in installation; do not place the
product in an enclosed place such as a bookcase or rack, unless proper
ventilation is provided or the manufacturer’s instructions are followed.
23. Heat sources --- Do not install near any heat sources such as radiators, heat
registers, stoves, or other apparatus (including amplifiers) that produce heat.
24.Using video games or any external accessory with fixed images for 10
minutes can cause them to be permanently imprinted on the SCREEN.
ALSO, some network/program logos, phone numbers, teletext and images
in 4:3 form-at etc. may cause similar damage. This damage is not covered
by your warranty.
25. Panel protection --- The LCD panel used in this product is made of glass. Therefore, it can break
when the product is dropped or impacted upon by other objects. Be careful not to be injured by
broken glass pieces in case the LCD panel breaks.
26. Pixel defect --- The LCD panel is a very high technology product, giving you finely detailed pictures.
Occasionally, a few non-active pixels may appear on the screen as a fixed point of blue, green or red.
Please note that this does not affect the performance of your product.
27. Working condition of the product: Temperature: 0℃~40℃
Placing condition of the product: Temperature: -20℃~50℃
28. To prevent the spread of fire, keep candles or other open flames away from this product at all times.
29. Earthing connection --- The apparatus shall be connected to a MAINS socket outlet
with a protective earthing connection.

USING THE REMOTE CONTROL
Use the remote control by pointing it towards the remote sensor window of the set.
Objects between the remote control and sensor window may prevent proper
operation.
NOTE: The illustration is for your reference
only, the remote sensor may
locate differently with different model.
Cautions regarding use of remote control
●Do not expose the remote control to shock. In addition, do not expose the remote
control to liquids, and do not place in an area with high humidity.
●Do not install or place the remote control under direct sunlight. The heat may cause deformation of the
unit.
●The remote control may not work properly if the remote sensor window of the main unit is under direct
sunlight or strong lighting. In such a case, change the angle of the lighting or LCD TV set, or operate
the remote control closer to the remote sensor window.
BATTERIES FOR REMOTE CONTROL
If the remote control fails to operate the LCD TV functions, replace the batteries in the remote control.
1.Open the battery cover. 2.Insert two size-AAA batteries. 3.Replace the cover until the lock snaps.
●Place the batteries with their terminals
corresponding to the (+) and (-)
indications in the battery compartment.
Precaution on battery use
Improper use of batteries can result in a leakage of chemicals and/or explosion. Be sure to follow the
instructions below.
●Place batteries with their terminals corresponding to the (+) and (–) indications.
●Different types of batteries have different characteristics. Do not mix batteries of different types.
●Do not mix old and new batteries. Mixing old and new batteries can shorten the life of new batteries
and/or cause old batteries to leak chemicals.
●Remove batteries as soon as they are non-operable. Chemicals that leak from batteries can cause a
rash. If chemical leakage is found, wipe with a cloth.
●The batteries supplied with the product may have a shorter life expectancy due to storage conditions. If
the remote control is not used for an extended period of time, remove the batteries from the remote
control.
●The batteries (battery pack or batteries installed) shall not be exposed to excessive heat such as
sunshine, fire or the like.

CABLE INSTALLATION
Before the installation and use, please read carefully the relevant content in “Notice for Maintenance and
Safety”.
1. Take the LCD TV from the wrapping package and put it in a drafty and flat place.
NOTE: When you plug or unplug the LCD TV, computer or other equipments, you must make
sure that the AC power has been already shut down;
When unplugging the power cable or signal cable, please hold the plug (the insulated
part), do not draw the body of the cable.
2. The RF output terminal can be connected with the RF input port of the TV.
3. The output AV/ S-VIDEO terminal of DVD can be connected with the AV/ S-VIDEO input port of the
TV through AV/ S-VIDEO cable.
NOTE: S-VIDEO and AV1 can not be used at same time for they share of one audio channel.
4. The output COMPONENT(YPbPr) terminal of DVD can be connected with the COMPONENT(YPbPr)
input port of the TV through AV cable.
5. Connect one end of the VGA cable with the VGA port on computer, connect the other end of the VGA
cable with the VGA port on the TV, and tighten the bolts clockwise on the each end of VGA cable.
NOTE: While connecting the 15-pin VGA, please do not insert the plug overexertedly, for fear
the pin might be broken.
6. Connect one end of the HDMI cable with HDMI output port, connect the other end of the HDMI cable
with the HDMI port on the TV.
NOTE: While connecting the HDMI, please aim at carefully, do not insert overexertedly, for
fear the pin might be broken.
7. The AV output of the TV can be connected with the input port of other AV equipment through AV cable.
NOTE: AV OUT can output only TV channels' audio/video signal.
DIGITAL AUDIO OUT can output TV, AV, S-VIDEO, YPBPR and MEDIA channels' audio
signal.
8. Check and make sure that all AV cables are connected with the corresponding ports correctly.
9. Connect the AC power cable with 100-240V AC power supply.
10. Connect the other end of the AC power cable with the AC power port on the TV.
NOTE:
The range of power input for the LCD TV is 100-240V/50Hz, 60Hz, do not connect the
TV power input port with the AC power out of the above range.
Please hold the insulated part of the plug when you are unplugging the power cable,
do not touch directly the metallic part of the cable.
YPBPR2 and AV3 can not be used at same time for they share of one audio channel.

Turn on the TV
1. Connect the AC input cable then turn on the AC switch of the TV.At this time the TV will enter
standby mode.
2. Switch on the TV by pressing .
Scanning channels
1. Press SOURCE button, you will see the signal source menu.
2. Press ▲/▼button to highlight TV then press ENTER.
3. Press the MENU button to bring the OSD menu up.
4. Press ▲/▼button to select SETUP menu, press ► button to enter.
5. Press ▲/▼button to highlight Auto Search, press ► button to perform the automatic channel
searching.
6. Then, the Auto Search Frame comes out and the system begins to seach channels, the searched
channels can be saved automatically.

1. POWER: Enter or quit the standby mode.
2. INFO: Show info of current program.

TV OPERATION
Turning on and off the TV
1. Turning on
1. Connect the AC input cable then turn on the AC switch of the TV. At this time the TV will enter standby
mode.
2. In standby mode, press the button on remote control to turn on the TV.
2. Turning off
1. When the temporary turning off is required, please press the button on remote control.
2. When a complete turning off is required, please turn off the AC switch on the TV and unplug the power
cable from the power socket.
NOTE:
If there is an accident power off, the TV will be in standby mode automatically after re-supply
the power. To ensure the normal use of the TV, the frequent turning on and off is forbidden,
when there is an accident power off, it is recommended to unplug the power cable from the
power socket.
3. Automatic turning off for no TV signal input
When the TV working in RF receiving mode, the TV will enter standby mode automatically 5 minutes
after there is no any signal (such as the programs are stopped by TV station)
Press SOURCE button on the remote control to enter the menu, and then select the signal sources
among TV, AV1, AV2, AV3, S-VIDEO, YPBPR1, YPBPR2, HDMI1, HDMI2, HDMI3, PC, MEDIA1 and
MEDIA2 by pressing ▲/▼ on the remote control. Press ENTER button to access the selected mode.
The volume can be adjusted continuously by pressing VOL+/VOL- on the remote control.
Press button on the remote control to mute the sound.
The icon displayed on the lower left position is as the following picture:
You can release mute by pressing or VOL+.

Channel Selection
Press CH+/CH- on the remote control to increase or decrease the channel numbers. Also, the channel
can be selected by pressing the number buttons.
Additionally, when TV is in AV, S-VIDEO, YPBPR, HDMI or PC mode, the TV will work in TV mode and
play the corresponding channel if any number button is pressed.
Basic Function of the TV
Many function settings and adjustments of the TV will begin from the menu choosing. All operation can
be followed as help bar shows. Press MENU button to display the main menu. Press ▲/▼button to
cycle through the main menu. Press ►enter into sub-menu. Press ▲/▼button to highlight the item to
be adjusted. Press ◄/►button to set the selected item. Press ►button to enter into sub-menu. After
setting is done, press MENU to go back to the previous menu. Press EXIT to quit the setting menu.
zIn this manual, the icon with “〖〗” means the button on the TV.
zButtons on the TV have the same function as corresponding buttons on the remote control. If
your remote control is lost or couldn’t work, you may use the buttons on the TV to select
menus. This manual focuses on operation of the remote control.
zSome items in the menus may be hidden depending on modes or signal sources used.
zWhen an item in MENU is displayed gray, it means that the item is not available or cannot be
adjusted.
Picture Menu
Press MENU button on the remote control to select the PICTURE menu. Shown as below:
Picture Mode
To select the picture mode.
Brightness
To adjust the picture’s brightness.
Contrast
To adjust the picture’s contrast.
Color
Adjusts intensity of all colours.
Sharpness
To adjust the picture’s sharpness.
Tint (Only in the NTSC mode)
To adjust the tint of the picture.
Color Temp
Normal, Cool and Warm, three modes of color
temperature are provided.

Advanced
DNR
Provide the picture with dynamic noise reduction
treatment, checking the high frequency noise of
the picture, there are Off, Low, Mid and High, four
modes of noise reduction. “Off ” means to close
the noise reduction.
DCC
Adjusts the contrast to keep it at the best level
according to the brightness of the screen.
Backlight
To control the brightness of the screen, adjust the
brightness of LCD panel.
Sound Menu
Press MENU button on the remote control to select the SOUND menu. Shown as below:

To select the sound mode.
AVL
AVL (Automatic Volume Leveler) is used to
control the volume automatically.
Surround
To switch the surround sound.
Equalizer
Press ►button to enter into Equalizer item, you
can strengthen or weaken some audio effect as
you favor. When changing the sound parameters
to change the sound mode.

Setup Menu
zIn TV mode
Press MENU button on the remote control to select the SETUP menu. Shown as below:

Display the current channel number, you can
switch between the channels through the button

Auto Search
In TV mode, select Auto Search, and then press ►to perform the automatic channel searching as
described in the following picture:
During searching, press MENU to quit the automatic search and go back to the previous menu.
After automatic search has been compete, or the capacity of storing 235 channels has been used up,
or the EXIT is pressed during searching, the system will quit from automatic searching mode and
switch to channel 1 automatically.
Manual Search
Manual Search lets you manually tune and arrange the stations in whatever order you desire.

TV broadcasting system:

Program Edit
1. Use the ▲/▼button to select a channel.
2. Press the RED / GREEN / YELLOW / BLUE button to edit the channel.

Press the RED button to set or cancel the
selected channel as one of the favourite
programmes.
Press the button to display the Favourites
program.
Swap
Use the ▲/▼button to select a channel that you
wish to move and then press the GREEN button.
Press the ▲/▼button to select the channel is to
be moved, and press the GREEN again. The first
selected channel is exchanged with the second
selected channel.
Skip
Press the YELLOW button to skip or not skip the selected channel. When setting the program skip as
on, CH+/CH- button cannot select it. But you can select the skipped program by pressing the number
buttons directly.
Edit
Press the BLUE button to rename the selected channel. Use the ▲/▼button to select the characters
to represent the station name, use the ◄/►button to move the next position of character, press the
ENTER button to confirm.
PC Menu
zIn PC mode
Press MENU button on the remote control to select the PC menu. Shown as below:
H-Position
Moving the picture horizontally through ◄/►.
V-Position
Moving the picture vertically through ◄/►.
Phase
Phase adjustment of the picture: in PC mode, this
function can be worked when there is any
abnormality of pictures.
Clock
Press ◄/►button to adjust it.
Auto Adjust
Automatic position & effect adjustment of the
pictrue. If the picture position is not so good, you
can select this function.
Frequency
Display the current channel frequency.
AFT
Press ◄/►to setup the automatic frequency tracking.
